Shout out to Callie for an awesome job helping my friend in the search from an apartment. We drove down from Abilene early in the morning. With so many different options available in Austin, it was really hard to narrow it down, especially without much knowledge of Austin… When we got there, she was already prepped with a full list.
My friend wasn’t even considering a studio apartment when he searched. But thanks to Callie’s suggestion, he evevtually decided to rent an amazing studio right by the river. She sure didn’t make it an easy choice!

I went to Nu Edge to look for a new apartment near the downtown area. Kyle assisted me in my search and I could not be happier or more impressed with Nu Edge and their willingness to help me as a client.
The search was quick and painless and Kyle had a great instinctual ability to know and understand what I would be looking for in an apartment as a young female tenant.

The reason I called Nu Edge was because of all the rave reviews, and I was certainly not disappointed!
I was looking for a place for my two sons that are relocating to Austin. One is a student and the other is disabled. Because of my son’e mobility issues, I had very specific needs. Callie listened and came through beautifully for me!

I have lived in Austin now for serval years so I’m very familiar with the city and different neighborhoods. Having lived in several different apartments in Austin, I had a good idea of what I was looking for and what part of town I wanted to live. I called up Nu Edge Realty and had the pleasure of working with Nick. I told Nick my budget, the locations I was I was open to and some of the other things I would be looking for in my new home. Nick did a great job of doing his research before I met with him. By the time I went into the office he had several places picked out for me to visit, all within the requirements I had given him, and with availability during the time I would be looking to move. Nick took me around to the different places and even took notes in case I forgot what some of the apartments were offering. Within just a few short hours I was able to make a decision on a new home! Matt Kabat helped every step of the way during our move from Wisconsin to Austin. Now, I don’t usually write reviews but this guy is worth writing about. From the time I contacted him he was polite and helpful, he found me the best deals on apartments I couldn’t have found alone, he drove me around to see each option, and he gave the best advice I could have imagined. Even when my apartment complex was slow to send pictures he went over and took them himself. I couldn’t recommend Matt enough! Call this guy now if you’re even thinking about finding an apartment in Austin! He’s a real pleasure to work with and a really cool guy.

In my apt search I stumbled across Yvette’s posting on Craigslist. We are considering relocating from CA. Her ad sounded fantastic. She dubbed herself as someone who would give 110% and in her words, «I want to earn your trust and be the only agent you ever use or refer to your friends. The service and knowledge I provide is completely free for you so using anyone else would be a waste of your time and mine. Call me today and I will gladly run a detailed search based on what you are looking for in the Austin area.»
Well, I told her this trip was to look at a few areas (in the city and some close-​in outlying areas). My husband and I are planning to rent while we research to buy. Apparently, helping a professional couple who work from home and are traveling to Austin again this month to get a lay of the land, (and are not looking for a «family oriented» neighborhood) is outside of her skill set. She was unwilling to show us some neighborhoods in Austin and suggested I call a broker in her office. I suggest she remove her ad on Craigslist and take some customer service courses. Terrible experience. And so we are now scheduled with an amazing agent in a top rated company. Yikes!

Mat at Nu Edge is very detail oriented and provides great service! He brought many good properties to the table and never stopped providing great service. I would use him again!

Matt Kabat was awesome to work with. We just got approved and will sign on Wednesday at a place that meets all of our somewhat difficult-​to-​work-​with-​and-​highly-​specific criteria. Matt was communicative, transparent, professional, and engaged in creative problem-​solving. We are very glad we went with NuEdge and got assigned to Matt, especially after pursuing a few other highly-​rated-​on-​Yelp realtors who raised some immediate red flags. Matt seemed genuinely interested in helping us find a place that would work well for us as opposed to just trying to make commission at whatever cost. Other locators we had been in contact with clearly just wanted to get the $ ASAP with as little effort to them as possible, recommending we sign with clearly unstable apartment complexes. We had one realtor tell us to check out a certain complex; when I countered that my (brief, 5-​minute long) internet research turned up some reviews that indicated the place had a history of cockroaches, flooding, and incompetent management, she laughed it off and suggested we sign anyway. No thank you. Working with Matt and NuEdge was great; they are kind of a rare find in a field that seems to belong mostly to predatory agents and companies. Thanks for your help Matt!

Callie was my girl. I’m not moving down to Austin until August so she was my eyes on the ground sending photos and video tours to give me an inside look. We were able to find the perfect apartment and I even got the direct deposit waived! Best experience I’ve ever had.

There are realtors and apartment locators everywhere in Austin!!! From my personal experience with Kyle has been nothing but the best and everyone that I have ever sent his way have all come back telling me how great the experience was and that they found their perfect place. Choosing to move my family and I from California to Austin, the most important thing to me was finding the best school for my daughter. Not knowing Austin, I came here for 1 week in advance of our move to shop schools, find an apartment zoned for the school of my choice and find gainful employment.
In hindsight, after spending 90% of the time I allotted, looking at the schools, I cut myself short, very short to find housing. I contacted two apartment locator companies to assist me. After meeting with the first company, I learned, that due to my messy divorce, and the aftermath of it, Finding someone who would rent to me was going to be an almost insurmountable task.
Having just one day before my flight back to Ca was scheduled to depart, I was panicked by the news I received, I called Nu Edge Realty, and Kyle answered my call. I delineated my dire situation, gave him my requirements and was surprised that he was hopeful and encouraging. I met him the following day and was impressed by his care and professionalism. In advance of our meeting, he had selected three communities for me to view, which he had called in advance and screened. He suggested one of the three would be best based on my needs and desires.
Thanks to Kyle, I secured that apartment. It is within the boundaries of the school I selected, it is within the budget I gave him, my new job is just 9 minutes away, which allows me to see my child safely off to school, in the morning and be close enough to the school and home if needed.
Kyle continues to reach out to me, to see how things are going. He was my Angel in a time of need and I am grateful. He is someone I will readily refer to anyone who is looking for a new home. Kyle is a polished professional who knows his market and inventory, he is patient and kind and will treat you like you want and deserve.
