Oak Grove Apartments

Good location, neighbors are nice, very quite. Good pool and easy to bike too. Austin has great weather and great activities.

If you happen to stumble upon Oak Grove, you are one of the lucky! You won’t find a better deal or more charming apartment for your money in South Austin.
So here’s the deal:
–The management is great. You won’t find better than Mallary, Chris and Kasi. (I have worked as a property manager, I know this stuff!)
–The apartments are cute and while they sometimes have older appliances, you won’t find that kind of homey feel in a new construction project.
–The neighbors are all nice. I was there 5+ years and got to know a lot of my neighbors, a lot of people stay long term which is a good sign.
–You can get anywhere in a few minutes. You could walk to Summermoon coffee, get your nails did and go to Torchy’s in under 5 minutes. You are right next to 71 so getting to the highway is also a breeze.
–They don’t charge pet rent (yay!)
–The pool is sweet.
So why did I leave?
My friend and realtor found me a great starter home just 2 miles away. While I was heartbroken to leave a place I considered home for so long, I had to take the next step while the price was right (Austin’s real estate market is NUTS!). I had no intentions on leaving, I was content but could not deny such a deal. Would I live at Oak Grove again? In a heart beat!
