Visited the drive thru today. One lane was closed and I couldn’t figure out where the speaker was, so I just pulled up to the window feeling very guilty about messing up their line/​order sequence. The guy at the window (Whil) was really cool about it and I appreciated it a lot! He was really jokey and nice which was the most ideal response. Took my order at the window and ran it out to me himself. This is less of a P Terry’s review (essentially the same as all the others, right?) and more of a Whil review. 5 stars! The staff is what usually makes the difference at chains anyways, and good people are worth pointing out.

On my way to South Austin to look at condo’s I noticed that this place was open and I was in dire need of a breakfast sandwich. I pulled into the drive through but, was a bit confused because it looked closed and nobody came over the speaker. I pulled forward to the window and the lady opened and I asked her if they were open and she said yes. So, I placed my order of a breakfast burger with bacon added to it and a coke.
It took a few minutes to get my sandwich and I ate it while driving. It wasn’t bad but, it wasn’t spectacular either. It was pretty dry and I wish there would have been a sauce or at least some ketchup in the bag to put on it.
I love their burgers so I will be back but, I think I will skip the breakfast here next time and head down the road to a different place.

Another expansion of this popular Austin chain brings cheap burgers and milkshakes to the North Lamar and Koenig intersection. It sports dual drive-​thru lanes and a beautiful building design complete with a spacious interior. There is limited outdoor seating and a small sandbox for the kids. Unfortunately this location isn’t open super late and closes at 10/​11pm.
Burgers and fries are the same as any other location: cheap and fresh.

Really really great burger. It was hot fresh and the cheese was super yummy and gooey. I got it with everything. The bun was fresh, soft and didn’t fall apart. The meat was great. Love that it’s fresh not frozen and hormone free. Got a double but a single would be enough. Great price too. The fries are fresh cut and are delicious. You get a ton in an order. Can’t wait to come back to this location. Yum yum

I really liked this P Terrys! I got the double cheeseburger and fries. We were there during prime lunch time and while the restaurant was almost full, we were able to order and get our food quickly. There is a double lane drive thru at this location with an attendant to get the cars through quickly, for those that dont want to come inside.
We found the last open four top and dug into our food. The burger was really great. The double patty was hearty but not overly large. It was a good size burger. The cheese was perfectly melted and it had a nice flavor. Really good juiciness and the bun tasted fresh. The fries are a bit limp, but they are fresh cut and I didnt mind the limpness because they tasted really good. I wanted to try the shake because I’ve heard they’re really good, but I was too full. Gonna save that for next time, cause I will be back.
