Panda Express

I have never left this Panda feeling disappointed. The food is always hot and fresh, and the staff are always pleasant.

Nothing wrong with the place. Fast asian food with decent taste. Good when you’re on the go. Nice open atmosphere.

The service here has always been fast and friendly. I’ve never had any issues with the food quality here. You get what you expect and they are constantly innovating their menu. I also really appreciate that they include nutrition info on their menu.

Are you looking for good Asian food? Don’t eat here.
Are you looking for inexpensive, flavorless, high volume production food? This might be your place, but I still wouldn’t recommend it.
If you’re in Austin, I expect more of you. Use the Unilocal app that you are looking at right now to find a four or five star Asian restaurant. There is no reason to suffer through fast food when you have so much better to choose from.
Seriously though, Panda Express reminds me of the hospital cafeteria.

I just got off the phone with their «guest relations» department. And told them I did not want coupons. I have been eating at this location ofr more than 2 ½ years and the service is horrid. I typically order a 2 entrée plate with a side of some sort. 40−50% of the time at least one item is wrong. They will flat argue with you if you order something that is not currently prepared like the side of sweet and sour chicken for $ 1.49.
I have been here dozens of time and unless you have the patients of a saint bypass the stress and bypass this Panda Express.

Typical Unilocaler: «I always laugh when people give such negative reviews of a chain restaurant. For what it is — it’s good.» No! You’re wrong. For what Panda Express is — fast Chinese food — it’s still gawd awful!
I know it’s frozen, but the quality of the meat is just plain bad. It’s always either chewy and/​or gristly. It’s always lukewarm. It always looks more processed than a McNugget. The artificial dyes used in some of PE’s dishes are out of this world colorful. You may or may not get food poisoning from this location (I know of 3 stories). Also if you ask for chow mein, you’ll probably get fried rice.
I also chose to review this particular Panda for a reason. The service is SO BAD. My cousin had a gift card and wanted to go really bad, so I relented. We walked in and only one man was working, and he was chatting on his cell phone in Spanish the WHOLE time. When it came time to check out using our gift card, it wouldn’t go through.
Guy (in between cell phone breaks): Not supported.
Me: Umm. what?
Guy: It say not supported!
Me: Can you try it again?
Guy: Not supported.
Me: Well are you running it as a credit card? Cos it’s no–
Guy (annoyed): Not supported!
Fine! I just take out some cash because I’m obviously getting nowhere with this fool. Does he seriously think I have a credit card that is purple with a picture of a giant panda on it? The answer is yes, my friends.

Geez guys-​I read the reviews for this place and they didn’t seem very good so I thought I’d post one for you all! I’ve been going here for a few years and have always gotten good food. People need to stop being so critical! It’s a «fast food» Chinese restaurant-​geez what are you expecting? Gourmet chinese, white table cloths with waiters?
The place is clean and inviting and it’s fast and fresh. I noticed they have started offering fundraising for schools. Panda Express also has party trays available which would be perfect for my family or office get togethers (no slaving in the kitchen for me)
Plus, hallelujah, they offer you something besides soda! Sobe, Gaterade, bottled water and juice.
If your looking for good alternatives for deep fried fast foods –and this is a fast, inexpensive, good choice.
