I was nervous to try this place because of the bad reviews. But none were recent so I went for it. The lady who answered the phone was very friendly and helpful since I was not familiar with their menu. Our pizza arrive hot and within the 30 – 45 min time frame we were given! We will go back!

Papa John’s is our latest pizza crush. We love the tangy sauce and our favorites are the cheese pizza with parmesan romano or black olive and mushroom. The secrets: Thin crust. «I don’t like thin crust» turned to «I do like thin crust if it’s Papa John’s.» Crispy and flaky, while still tender and chewy. You CAN eat pizza without consuming dough the size of your fist. The only downside of thin crust is that the pizza is less filling. Probably a good thing. Parmesan/Romano topping. Topping your cheese pizza with parmesan leaves it chewy and flavorful. Dab pizza with paper napkins or towels upon arrival to remove the grease. Papa John also tends to run a lot of discount specials and groupon/living social so keep your eyes open.

Been here a few times then I noticed that they don’t use gloves while preparing people’s food which is super unsanitary. I’ve never been a fan of their food anyways.

Sometimes you’re tired and you want to stay in and sit back and you’re willing to lower your standards with a delivery pizza. I’m guilty, maybe 3 times a year. Well, I’m gonna ratchet up my lowest standards just above this chain delivery from now on. 30 – 40 minute delivery window is actually over an hour. Pizza is cold on arrival. One of two small pepperoncini they put in each box has already been eaten. Ok, so pizza boxing guy or delivery guy was hungry and wanted a nibble, gross enough, but put the stem back in the box? What? Ingredients are spread very thinly, chopped tiny, and no more than a couple of each topping on a slice, so a 5 topping pizza is still as much free space as it is toppings. Not much flavor at all, really just easy to eat stomach spackling. I doubt anyone looking for a mail order pizza is gonna peruse Unilocal first, but just in case, I wanted to post a cautionary report of suckage. It will also remind myself sometime down the road, when I’m tired and want to just kick back, that there are delivery services that care and that deliver decent chow and that I’m good enough for that. Dial another number… dial another number…

the delivery guy harassed us because he thought we did not tip him … it was scary — not to mention our pizza had a hair in the box, on the green pepper thingy

This experience couldn’t have been more perfect! We had been moving ALLDAY and were super tired and super hungry. I found the closest Papa John’s(this one) and called to place my order. The guy was very nice over the phone, caught every word I said, and even got us a great deal: 2 Large(up to 5 topping) pizzas for $ 20. So I added on a soda and paid over the phone. I forgot to give them a gate code, but no worries here! I think my delivery man was Superman because I placed the order at 4:58 and had it steaming hot, perfectly correct, in my hands by 5:25. AWESOMEEXPERIENCE.

I always get exactly what I order on time. When I am not in the mood to cook this place never disappoints.

I’m not a huge pizza lover, but I do like Papa John’s for those rare occasions I want delivery. The few times we’ve order delivery from here, there have been mix ups and it took forever. So we decided to pick it up this time. Thirty minutes later I still had not received a pick up time through email(ordered online). We called and they said the system wasn’t working right and they had several calls about this. However our pizza was ready for pick up. When we arrived my husband asked how long the pizza had been sitting there. The guy said«about five minutes» to which my husband replied«we called fifteen minutes ago and you said it was ready then». The guy just sort of shrugged it off. They don’t seem to care about giving good customer service, but the pizza good if you like Papa John’s.

I have had Papa John’s at other locations and the Pizza and the employees have been cordial, but this is a different Papa John’s. Normally if an employee has something ill to say, they would usually at least wait for the customer to leave first. Not so today. Apparently the cocky teenager in the back did not like the fact that I am picking up my pizza late or something like that which he was blabbing about while looking at me. Aside from the arrogant brats remarks, just knowing he is in the kitchen handling the food there has diminished my confidence of this Papa John’s location.

I’m usually reticent to stray from Pizza Hut for standard delivery, but Mangia broke me of that. I chose to order from this Papa John’s tonight and it was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had from delivery of any kind. I waited well over an hour for my order and had to read the re-heating instructions the moment it was handed to me. I still tipped the delivery guy because it’s usually not their fault, but I was biting my tongue while writing it out on the receipt. The pizza isn’t even that good. What’s all this«fresh» nonsense they try to claim?! I wouldn’t give them any thanks outside of reminding me why not to order from them.

Tried to order from this Papa Johns, but it didn’t happen. My boyfriend had just moved into a new apartment, and I didn’t know the exact address. I knew the name of the complex, apt #, etc. but was still in the process of carrying boxes and moving and didnt have access to a computer.(nor was I actually at the apt to look for the address at the time). He lives in Balcones Woods apartment complex. This Papa Johns is ONBALCONESWOODS Drive. After I told him I didnt know the address, he told me he couldnt put in the order without the address and I couldnt order pizza. He said, «Yeah, I know exactly where that is… it’s on our street,» but still couldnt put in the order for me. I was so beyond frustrated and couldnt believe that he couldnt look it up or figure it out for me, especially when the driver knew exactly where it was. I love me some Papa John’s normally, but this was enought to turn me off for a while.
