The main reason its getting a 3 star rating is because there aren’t any chairs to do some work there. I love it when little cafes have at least some chairs to get some work done and easy access for some hot drinks when writing and working. There are tables, however, there aren’t any chairs. This place does have Coffee Hour which means every day from 9:00pm-Close purchase any coffee and receive a pastry of choice for only $ 1! That’s pretty good so I will have to check that out!

Perks keeps cushy outdoor furniture out under the trees of the Hyatt’s patio with a nice view of the lake and the trail. It could do better keeping the tables free of dust from the traffic and the drips & crumbs from previous customers. But a quick swipe of a paper napkin makes things copacetic. It was effortless to clear the way for a great day and an enjoyable coffee.

It’s the cute little coffee place on the bottom floor of the Hyatt.
I ordered a mocha and croissant one morning. The mocha was a perfect blend and the croissant was flakey and fresh. They had a large selection of pasteries, wraps and even a little thing of sushi. Yummm!
Along with that they had the gift store type things of stuff you might want from Austin and then toiletries and lots of random stuff you may need — I needed batteries!!!
The staff was friendly, quick and got me on my way quickly.
