Poppins Cleaning Service

I can’t get someone from this place to answer the phone, return my messages, or respond to a request for a quote. The number on their website doesn’t work (no voice mail). I’ve been trying for two weeks. How can they be getting positive reviews when I can’t even contact them?

This is well worth your money! Poppins Cleaning is professional and their work is completely outstanding. I booked them off Unilocal when I was in a time crunch. Our one bedroom apartment was very dirty and we had guest staying at the end of the week. Dani was able to fit us in before our visitors came! I was truly impressed with their service. They went above and beyond what was expected!
We used Poppins Cleaning for our move out cleaning and they did an outstanding job. I was unable to clean out all of our stuff and Dani and her crew moves all our left over items into a specific area– a totally unexpected gesture that went above and beyond on my book. Her service made it so much easier to pack up the rest of a place and get our deposit back in full. They extra time and effort spend on our apartment was exceptional. I highly recommend!

After our recent move to Austin, I found Poppins Cleaning Service on-​line and were so impressed with their excellent reviews I thought I would give them a try. Dani and her team are not only courteous and friendly, they totally exceeded all of my expectations in a cleaning service. The Poppins team really took their time and went the extra mile to be sure our home was spotless. I was so pleased with them that I not only have them clean our home on a regular basis, I set up an initial cleaning for our daughter’s home. She now has them come on a regular basis as well. Kudos to Poppins! You’re the best.

Dani and her team are fantastic! We first used Poppins for a move-​out cleaning from our rental home, and we have continued to use them for regular cleanings in the home we now own. Dani has great attention to detail and always meticulously cleans every corner of our house (and this is with us owning a black lab with fur of fury, mind you). Scheduling is easy through text message, and I pay through the Venmo app, which is so convenient. Dani will go out of her way to make sure she finishes any special task you want, and she is perfectly capable of going with the flow. Case in point: when we were out of the country, our alarm was set incorrectly so the police came when she was trying to get in the house. Dani handled the whole situation like a champ and came back later the same week to make sure our home was clean for when we got back. It’s just a bonus that Dani is super nice, clearly a really good person, and fun to talk to. Contact Dani now and get in with her company while they still have space for new people! Trust me, it’s only a matter of time before Poppins really takes off.

I’ve been with Poppins Cleaning Service for over a year now and I have nothing but praise for this business. Dani, the owner, always gives great customer service and my home sparkles after she leaves! After each service Dani goes above and beyond by paying extra time and adding a personal touch. There are times when I have to change my schedule last minute and Dani is still so sweet and understanding to work around it. Long story short: hire them, you wont regret it!

I just got Dani & crew to do a make ready ahead of selling my house. They did a wonderful job and worked until 10 PM (!!!) to get the job done. They were also very reasonably priced and did everything on my long, very picky list. Definitely the best maid service I’ve used in Austin so far!

I have been using Poppins Cleaning for well over a year now and I highly highly highly recommend them — so much that I hire them for my home AND my business/​office cleaning as well. Dani pays attention to every detail, cleans meticulously, and somehow can apply a zen-​like feel to my home and office organization that I can’t recreate myself.
Every time I come home after Dani and her crew visit, I shed the stressful feeling that neglected corners, countertops, bathtubs, floors tend to pile on over time. Then I have to do my best to try to keep the standard as best I can before the next visit.
She and her team really do go above and beyond, are incredibly nice and friendly, and extremely trustworthy.

First Unilocal review ever. These guys are worth it. They’re incredible! Very easy to work with, efficient, kind, and thoughtful.
They were scheduled to come to my house on a Friday evening. I was stuck in rush hour traffic, so I ended up getting home a bit later than we’d planned — they were super flexible.
Once they got to cleaning, I basically got to sit on the couch for one and a half hours while they: did my dishes, started a load of laundry, thoroughly cleaned two bedrooms and bathrooms, mopped, and vacuumed. I’ve just moved into my home and there are boxes everywhere… they made them disappear. They even wrote an inspirational message on my whiteboard. :)
And the prices? Can’t beat them! Consider me a very happy customer.
Also, if they take a few days to respond to your quote /​email, be patient! They will follow up. I don’t think they anticipated growing as rapidly as they are, but I’m not surprised: it’s pretty hard to find better folks for the job!

Dani and her partner were great, exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed their attitude, focus and a job well done. Cleaning services are a dime a dozen, good ones are not. They aim to please. She sqeezed me in for a next day booking, they showed up on time, great job.

Turns out Dani was just on a much needed vacation and got behind. When we talked on the phone it was the same caring and helpful person. Poppins is coming Friday to help me before guests arrive and I can’t wait to tell you what a great job they did and to change this to a five star! I feel very confident that this the company I want to use from now on!

I called this cleaning service a week ago because I need help with my home. Dani answered and was so kind, warm, and open with me and we agreed on a rate in the same phone call. I was told that I would be contacted that evening and would have my house on the schedule to be cleaned this week. I have not been contacted since. I called the number quite a few times today and also submitted a contact request to Poppins and have gotten no response. No one answers the phone or the written online requests from the website. I’m so sad to write this review but after I talked with Dani I counted on this service for help and now I am in a bind with one day to find someone trustworthy and quality to clean my home on Friday before ten guests arrive for the weekend. Hopefully this is not how most potential longterm clients are treated!

Dani is great! They were able to start cleaning my home on very short notice and helped me catch up on a TON of cleaning and laundry that I had let slip.
We’ve set up a regular cleaning appointment and they’ve been prompt every time. I couldn’t be happier and hope they’ll keep helping us for a long long time to come! I LOVE coming home to my clean house!

Highlights:
— Dani came with two other lovely ladies. All very personable and on time.
— They did a thorough deep clean with many extras that were nice surprises. (i.e, started a load of my laundry, cleaned my AC vent, neatly arranged things that were left out, wrote a personal note!)
— Every inch of my house was spotless and my house smelt amazing!

Dani and the Poppins Team have been an absolute joy to work with. I hired them based on the great reviews they have received here on Unilocal and I am so glad I did. They are extremely flexible, helpful and have gone the extra mile when cleaning my home. They are doing extra cleaning beyond their primary scope just because they truly care. I feel exceptionally fortunate I found them, so much so that I think this is the first Unilocal review I have ever written. Do your home a favor and hire them!
Also, they are reasonably priced for excellent service, I couldn’t ask for more!

We have been using Poppin’s for over a month and have been super satisfied. Dani and the gang rock. They go above and beyond for us. We had a couple missed things and Dani fixed it right away. I would not hesitate to recommend Poppin’s Cleaning Service and have repeatedly to our neighbors!

Last week my daughter moved into an apartment in West Campus of UT. When we arrived I was disgusted how dirty the place was. It look like it hadn’t been cleaned in a year and they charge a good penny. After coming back to Houston I decided to return and find a cleaning company to get that place in shape. As I looked through Unilocal to find a company, Poppin Cleaning Service seemed like a good one.
I called and Dani answered. She was so pleasant and positive. I called her on a Monday and told her I would be in Austin on Wednesday. She lined us up with no problem.
On Wednesday she and her crew showed up ready to work. Dani is such a nice person, professional and a very hard worker and so is her crew. She was willing to do anything to get this place clean, which included the usual mopping, sweeping, dusting and cleaning the bathrooms. But she went above and beyond what most companies do. She cleaned the windows, dirty (gross) moldy air vents, spots on the painted walls etc. She did whatever it took! She was very professional. After the job was done, which wasn’t easy, my daughter and her roommates couldn’t believe how much better the place looked. I was happy now my daughter wouldn’t be breathing all the dust and mold.

When I needed «emergency» move in cleaning, I panicked and looked on Unilocal to try to find a cleaning service. I was concerned about finding a good cleaner in a new town, but Dani was the first person to answer the phone. I sure am glad she did! Dani is fantastic to coordinate with, very reliable, and does a WONDERFUL job. We have been using her for several months now, and I wouldn’t hire or trust anyone else. Not only does she do a great job cleaning, but she organizes certain things that are probably a frightful mess in our living room (cat toys, magazines). She’s always going the extra step, and we really appreciate her services.

Dani and the ladies are thorough and incredibly accommodating. I had them do a large clean when I moved out of one place and have them in now bi-​weekly in my new place, and they’ve done great work at both locations. Very personable and a joy to work with.

These ladies did an EXCELLENT job! I called Dani on a Saturday night (at like 8:30−9) to see if she could help us out the NEXT morning, and she totally pulled through. Not only was she and her crew a pleasure to be around, they did a great job, were efficient, friendly and after calling multiple places, offered the best price in town!
