Precision Inspection

While I was not present for the inspection the people who were felt that Bob did an excellent job. The report was delivered promptly and identified the key problems with the property.
The reason for 3 stars? Buried in the signature page text is a line where you give consent to take calls from ADT with special offers. What is this type of text doing in a document that is outlining legal recourse? It needs to be removed.

We weren’t fortunate enough to get Bob to do our inspection so they sent out an extremely tired low energy fella that just told us mostly what was not up to code. Didnt even bother getting on the roof just had binoculars. He missed a quite a bit with the roof thats gonna cost us money. When we told Bob he came out and said he would send someone to at least clean the gutters and take a look at a loose piece that was coming out but no one has showed up a week later and I never got any details on who/​when. You sign tons of paperwork releasing them from any fault and that you acknowledge their inspection is basic and visual only. Not sure why we pay these people $ 4– $ 600 dollars for a visual check but thats an industry I would have signed up for in college. Also they dont check your HVac closely just to see if it turns on/​off. We found out we have a leak now. Thanks «Precision»

I had an inspection done by Precision Inspection, and overall I was pleased. The inspection was easy to schedule and the people I spoke with were friendly. Bob did a very thorough job and he seems incredibly knowledgeable. The inspection report itself was delivered the same day as the inspection, as promised. The inspection was filled pictures and Bob even recommended specific ways to fix some of the
problems. Example:
«water in drainpan under a/​c unit in attic and system needs service due to a high temp. differ. of 26 degrees (should be no more than 20). Pull soil away from unit outside to prevent further rusting and repair top of the unit (protective grid has missing parts, child safety hazard)»
My biggest complaint and the reason for the lost star is that a couple weeks after the inspection I received a call from a third-​party security system company, trying to sell me service. It was very apparent that they had obtained my number from Precision Inspection. My only other minor complaint is that the inspection report wasn’t formatted very nicely. It’s readable, but just looks a little sloppy.
