Quiznos

This is the Quiznos located on 183 N. near Mopac next to Gold’s Gym and Samurai Sam’s. Since Quiznos is still running their Large $ 5 special on a limited selection of subs (Ham + Swiss, Turkey + Swiss, Roast Beef + Cheddar, Meatball), I opted to stop by and satisfy my beef craving.
I’ve never had an issue w/​the quality of Quiznos’s food — their ingredients always seem fresh and their subs taste pretty good. I also like their signature spicy sauce they have available for you, as well as the bountiful banana peppers and jalepenos. The reason why I gave this location 2 stars is because the manager (middle aged Asian guy) was very unfriendly and standoffish. He seemed somewhat stressed out and it looked like he was training 2 employees, and that my presence there was annoying and bothersome to him as he was impatient and never cracked a smile.
He hastily made my sandwich, was frugal with the condiments (I asked to add red onions and cilantro to my roast beef), and made my sandwich in record time. With the lack of hospitality I started to feel like I was a nuisance, so I just took my sandwich and left. My roast beef sandwich was still pretty good — — which is the reason why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1, but trust me — — I will NEVER go back to this Quznos again. There’s plenty to choose from in the Austin area if I ever decide to go back in the future.
