This location has issues. Last 2 times I ordered I waited and hour and a half and got the wrong sandwich both times. Disappointing… won’t waste another lunch break.

Oh, jimmy johns. It’s sad because I like the food, but the service has taken quite the dip. Recently we had a handful of us at work order lunch from this location. We’re on the same street and just a tad less than a mile away. One would think that our sandwiches would arrive«freaky fast». But you would be wrong, because it took almost half an hour. THEN, on top of that, not every sandwich was even made correct. I don’t believe in getting upset at the delivery driver or being rude etc. But I would rather contact someone via the website, in hopes that the boss will be able to address the situation. Within a few hours I received a very nice phone call from a «big wig» with an Indiana prefix. He was thankful for my business and apologized for the situation and assured me that I’d hear back from the local store manager soon. I get it, first world problems for sure, but if you contact a business you want to hear back and get some sort of resolution. Three days go by and I haven’t received any sort of contact from the local store. Today I show up for work and there was a $ 10 gift card to JJ’s sitting on my desk. One, I didn’t want that, I wanted a business owner to be professional and pick up the phone and contact me. Second, if your plan was to «throw money» at the situation, then you failed. I’ve had bad experiences at restaurants before and it’s always to tell who really cares with the way they respond. And it appears that whoever runs this store just simply doesn’t care.

After submitting my compliant [see below] online to the Jimmy John’s website, I was contacted the next day by somebody with corporate. He confirmed the issue and asked who the manager on duty was at the time. He then said he would contact the store and solve the issue. Two days later I received a gift card in the mail for 5 times the cost of my missing item. Jimmy is working hard to make sure their customers are treated right, and I will be back! [Part of my order was missing, called the store and didn’t ask for them to make another delivery, only asked to not be charged. Spoke to the manager who told me that I would have the cost credited to my account. He lied. Next order I made, 3 days later, did not have the promised credits. Will not be ordering from Jimmy John’s anymore. Won’t spend money at dishonest or deceiving companies that lie just to get people off the phone.]

No complaints on the food but the staff(not all staff) was not helpful at all. They delivered orders to my location multiple times in the past and even delivered an order today, but when I called to place an order they«didn’t deliver to my location». I mentioned that an order was just brought here today and the employee(fortunate for him I don’t know his name) completely brushed off my confusion about the whole situation. Incredibly disappointed with the customer service.

My location is 0.9 miles from this store. The order took 3 minutes shy of 1.5 hours. I called the store about an hour into the order, and was told the order was already on its way. Half an hour after that, I get the sandwich. Did I mention I’m 0.9 miles from this store? While I understand that weather can cause problems logistically, an hour and a half tells me there are problems other than just transportation. Lately, I thought this store had been doing better, but today it feels like it did when this store first opened: Slow. And no, I won’t be ordering Jimmy John’s from this location anymore. PS. 0.9 miles

Taking 30 – 40 minutes every single time to deliver a sandwich right down the street is not even close to «freaky fast». Update: This time it took over an hour to deliver my sandwich. I called to ask if it was on its way and they told me there was only one driver and hung up. If there is only one driver maybe the manager should have tried to have someone else cover or something. And also don’t hang up on your customers when you are already delivering terrible service. If you can go to any Jimmy Johns do not choose this one!

9 times out of 10, I wish I was joking, when I order from this location my order is incomplete. If I order a drink, I won’t get a straw in the bag, I ask for the sandwich to be cut in half and it’s ignored, or I ask for mayo packets and they leave them out. It’s never anything huge, but after months of ordering from this location because of its convenience this has become a constant irritation.

I would have to agree with a lot of the other review. Getting tired of the inconsistency. It should not take 38 minutes to get your order from a place that markets themselves as «crazy fast» even if it is lunch time, however this particular time was not. One time it took over an hour to get my order and when I questioned it from the delivery guy he told me they ran out of bread! Too bad for you but I ordered a wrap! Some days they are very good and other days they aren’t worth paying for especially when you order a wrap with extra meat. By the time you tip the driver I could have a ribeye somewhere with better service. I order from here only because it’s the only one in my delivery area and it’s hard for me to get away to get lunch but this particular store is not run very well. To sum up my feelings the food and delivery is very inconsistent. It’s the only Jimmy John’s I very been to that is not run top notch.

I had went here a few months back and ordered a sandwhich that had ham turkey LOTSOFLETTUCE and tomatoes and a pickle. When i got my sandwhich i opened it up and there was absolutely no lettuce. I double checked the receipt to see if it said no lettuce and no it did not. That was one of the biggest factors of the sandwhich, LOTSOFLETTUCE. I brushed it off and continued to eat since i was starving. The bread was good i did enjoy that, nice and soft. The meat was nothing out of the ordinary, and the tomatoes where nice, i love tomatoes so i highly enjoyed the tomatoes. I was enjoying the sand which till i bit into something hard i spit it out and all behold it was a bone. My guesses it was from the ham. I stopped eatting the sandwhich all together, well i did finish the tomatoes, but i was so upset i spent 10 $ on a sandwhich just to be completely disappointed. I will not go back to jimmy johns.

We eat here a few times a month a love it! Fast and friendly delivery. We have never had an order wrong and it always gets here within 20 minutes. We live in the domain and have never had an issues with them delivering to us.

Fresh bread, and delicious sandwiches. I have been a regular of jimmy johns for quite sometime now. With all the sandwich shops in Austin this is definitely one on the top of my list. They offer a variety of sandwiches including the beach club and an Italian night club which are a couple of my favorites they also offer a veggie sandwich for those of you who don’t eat meat! They have their own brand of kettle cooked chips my favorite is the jalapeño flavor. Lastly this is a sandwich shop that will deliver right to your front door and I think that’s awesome and very rare to find!

I stopped going to this location after seeing the manager yell and throw things at his employees. He once growled at me when I was ordering and I told him that i didn’t want him making my sandwich and walked out. I started going to the one on 183/Braker. Went back 2 days ago and only 2 people were working this time and they were very friendly. The quality of my sandwich was better than before as well. I will give it one more chance, otherwise, I will be going back to the 183 location. Oh, I can’t say anything about delivery, because even though I live less than a mile down the street from this location, they still don’t deliver to my house.

I was irritated enough to download Unilocal so that I could write this review, I would like to note that a 1.1 mile delivery radius for any establishment that offers delivery is obscene. I have ordered multiple times from this Jimmy Jhons and had zero issue with service, upon asking for a sandwich for delivery a man who mumbled my address(which I have already ordered from, proof being that it is in their system) tells me that they do not deliver there. Excruciatingly frustrated with the factor that I am literally two lights away and a turn into a neighborhood.

I want to love this location because it is so close to my house, but I just can’t. I will drive the extra 5 minutes down Braker from now on. I have the simplest order ever. Slim 1(ham and cheese). Yet they cannot seem to get it right. The bread is hard, and seems old. I have tried them three times and here are some«extras» I have found in my simple sammies; a single pickle, some tuna, a hair, and mayo. They seem more focused on the delivery orders than the in store customers.

Forget about this place. It sucks. It has to be a management problem. I would love to tell you about the issues we had with this place recently but it’s over three pages worth of dialogue. Seriously, if you want a sandwich from there, pay cash at the counter and take it out. Delivery is a joke. And customer service is even worse.

I work in the Domain and have tried to order here a few times usually hours in advance. Yet they still aren’t able to complete any order yet for me on time. Today was the most recent attempt, order was placed 1 hour in advance of delivery time, called 10 mins after delivery time to get an update, they told me it hasn’t been made yet, and unknown delivery time. A former time they made the sub 45 mins after delivery time and delivered it an hour late. I never had a problem when the 183@Braker used to deliver to the Domain, so it’s definitely a staffing issue for this location. If the Jimmy Johns Management ever reads these please refrain your staff, and contact customer if they’re are delayed deliveries.

Their sandwiches are only as good as their management… Which is pathetic. I’ve stood inside this store and watched Jeremy Gregg, the manager, berate and insult his employees and mock customers. From slamming his stapler on the floor(because it was out of staples), throwing objects at employees while standing behind them and complaining how, «customers taking mayonnaise packets cuts into my bonus,» this establishment has major managerial issues. I can’t stand seeing hard working individuals get treated like forced labor workers. On top of that, customers don’t want to be treated like their bothering the very people who are making their food. Gourmet sandwiches? Pleeease, if your deli meat is slimy you have no business touting around your product as gourmet.

This place is so awesomely convenient and fast. I order online, pay online… They know my face when I walk in the door and have my order bagged and ready to over. Now if only I could get them to deliver 2 miles down the road.

Ugh. Worst delivery experience. Can’t follow directions. Staff was nice about trying to call the delivery guy and have him call me but good god almighty! Don’t bother ordering delivery from this place.

Mildly annoying that I am located, «out of the delivery zone» when literally two block down the road is not. When I checked the website it said I was, 1.86 miles from the location. To be exact it’s two traffic lights and about four blocks into a neighborhood. Being someone that works from home I appreciate being able to order a lunch that is not pizza or cheap Asian food when I’m unable to get out. I guess it’s only freaky fast delivery if you are located in a one block radius. Either way, I hope they extend their delivery zone to more than a mile and a half.
