I discovered Raven + Lily a couple of months ago and it’s a treat shopping there! I’ve been back a few times and have mainly purchased jewelry, as well as a couple of stationary items and clutch bag — overall, the earring selection is my favorite. There is just a certain subtlety to the styling, especially with the jewelry, which I love! The store is nicely put together, staff is friendly, and it’s an even better experience knowing that the mission of the company is to support ethical and sustainable fashion.

I love the concept. I love the fashion and how the individual pieces coordinate with each other. The jewelry is sublime. I love the subtle pleasant scent as I open the front door. I do NOT love the overt lack of regard for my presence as I enter your establishment. Not so much as a «hello» or «welcome» or even a «piss off» as I walk in to patronize this establishment. Not even a little head lift in my direction to acknowledge me. Head buried in laptop. Tinder must be enthralling, eh? I selected a few items to try on. Presented to the register to settle up and made an attempt to engage the attendant in conversation. Pulling teeth. Just like that. The clothing is unique but pricey. Perhaps the minimum of looking up, offering suggestions, and showing even feigned interest in me would improve the rating, because the product is golden. The disregard, not so much. Maybe I don’t have«the look».

Beautiful store full of beautiful products that empower artisans around the world and are environmentally sustainable(up-cycled fabrics and bullet casings repurposed as beads for cool jewelry)! The beautiful ladies working here are also very sweet.

My husband bought me a cute necklace with little leather silvery petals from Raven + Lily for my birthday. I wore it for the first time to a business meeting. Imagine my surprise when during the meeting, two little leather silvery petals suddenly fell off the necklace and into my cleavage. Apparently my surprise had nothing on my husband’s when he tried to return the defective product and was told he could only exchange it. Rather ungracious and not a confidence-builder. I’ll look elsewhere for necklaces that remain on my neck.

I’ve had this store mentally bookmarked for awhile now — mostly because I found myself pressing face-to-glass on several occasions while walking by. All of those patterns were just too tempting. These days I am especially conscientious about the ethics of places where I find myself spending money. It’s important — if you’re going to spend, and you have a choice, why not make the best choice you can? Part of what drew me to Raven + Lily was the fact that they are an eco and socially responsible boutique. Which is something that there is a story behind, and they do a good job of telling it. Many unique items here, but the two categories that really stood out to me: Bags — Hand-stitched leather purses, and patterned totes. All lovely. Stationery — I loved the handmade stationery, crafted from recycled cotton, which made it both tactile and sturdy. The store itself is also gorgeous — open, light, and well balanced. Like the kind of person who probably shops here.
