I only know about Ruby Thai Kitchen from the free samples an employee was giving out at the front of the store. But ye gods! The little pieces of sauteed chicken the public was getting for freebies were a) 1⁄3 gristle and nearly inedible. b) practically raw. The dominant taste was of chicken blood. If this is the good stuff they give out to get you to sell their establishment — what is their regular food like — once they have you over a barrel?

I returned back to the scene of the no real pad thai. I’m still so disappointed there’s no real pad thai. I tried the wonton noodle bowl this time around. I’m Asian, I like noodles. I like ‘em a.lot. I asked if the meal looked like the picture. They said yes. I had my doubts. There were wontons and noodles but not the noodles pictured. Asian noodles are not like pasta. You can change the noodles as there are an assortment of noodles that go with certain things. I was highly disappointed yet again that the noodles were not the ramen like type but a phở like texture. The broth and wonton was good and if they could get the ramen like noodle, it’d be worth the $ 5.08 I spent. Other than that, I gave Ruby Thai a second chance and it simply did not work out. I’m also disgusted with the lady who reminded me of the soup natzi but at her own employee. She spoke to him in a way I was appalled and felt so sorry for him. I hope he finds another job, where he’s not yelled at all day. No one should receive that kind of abuse.
