I am so thankful for these guys! After receiving word that the home we were looking to buy had mold, we went into a bit of a panic. Servpro was recommended to us by a friend for mold remediation on Wednesday afternoon, and I called as soon as I could look up their contact info. The scheduling coordinator was amazing and had a technician out to the house by 7:30 the following morning. Knowing absolutely nothing about mold, our technician was so great and took the time to explain every aspect about that exactly was going on with the mold in the home. Overall, I had a GREAT experience working with the professionals at Servpro and I highly recommend.

After a recent flood our builder, Brohn homes, hired Serv Pro to dry the place out and move our belongings. First off, let me say I’m thankful for these guys. It’s been about a month and a half since the flood and I’m finally back in the house, getting life back to normal. Would have been screwed without them. That being said, I think they have room for improvement in a few areas and that’s the reason for 3 stars versus 5. Specifically — coordination among teams could have been a lot better. Our flood was a pretty major event requiring several different teams. 1. Packers 2. Movers 3. Demolition 4. Cleaners 5. Unpackers There was very little communication or organization between the teams which surprised me since I assume Serv Pro deals with situations like this all the time. The packers labelled what they packed as bedroom1, bedroom2, office, etc. but they didn’t create a map that would help me the owner and/or the team that was tasked with moving stuff back into the house. So, as a homeowner already dealing with all the stresses a flood brings(it’s more than you can imagine), you are placed in the precarious position of helping the movers figure out what the packers did. Without a map. It was frustrating, especially since none of the movers really spoke English. In the end I looked at each label on 100+ boxes and gave them directions of ‘arriba’(meaning upstairs) or ‘bajo’(downstairs). Not something a homeowner should have to do in the midst of a flood, especially since a little communication between SP’s teams would have remedied this. Serv Pro, here’s a tip — DRAWTHEPACKERS A MAP and have them LABELEACHROOMPROPERLY. Then, and this is very IMPORTANT… SHARETHEMAPWITHTHEMOVERS so they know where to put boxes without making the homeowner guess while learning the correct Spanish words for upstairs and downstairs. Other experiences that stand out w/Serv Pro??? At one point I was arguing with the builder because they only planned to replace one piece of drywall in the garage ceiling because that’s all Serv Pro tore out for remediation. Keep in mind that it was literally raining in the garage during the flood(all drywall in the ceiling had been saturated and you could see the damage very clearly). Anyway, while talking with the builder I told them I expected them to replace the whole ceiling which meant taking down the garage door opener, etc. It was going to be a pain for sure but I wanted this event to be «LIKEITNEVERHAPPENED» as Serv Pro’s ad’s proclaim. We had just moved in about 4 months prior to the flood so I figure the builder owes us this. In the middle of this conversation with Brohn, the Serv Pro foreman tells me that if it was his house, he wouldn’t expect Brohn to do anything more than they were doing. Well — I call BS and I didn’t appreciate SP chiming in to tell me that replacing one little part of the ceiling was good enough. No way anyone in their right mind would approve of replacing one little section of drywall in a room where it had been raining if it’s their house. In the end, Brohn replaced the whole ceiling instead of half assing the job like they planned. Another thing to worth noting. No one from Serv Pro told us we had the ability to ask for people to help us unpack. Once the movers were almost done, I asked the SP foreman if folks were going to help us unpack. Otherwise we’d be unpacking for weeks, possibly months. He said I’d have to ask for it — he wasn’t sure. So — my recommendation is that folks should ask for everything you can think of to get you back to normal as quickly as possible. OK, that about covers it. I am sharing this in the hopes that other homeowners who go through a construction defect flood like this might have things go a little smoother. I definitely recommend taking pictures/video every day and stand up to the builder if they try to push you around and cheap out on fixing things.

I had the pleasure of recently working with ServPro. They were professional, on time, and communicated well with me, the insurance company and my owner. I am a Realtor and will only use ServPro for this type of work. Even the insurance company was amazed how professional ServPro was throughout the process. Once we found out our cabinets needed to be replaced rather than remediated ServPro stopped the process. Even though they could have done more, they opted to take the high road pull the crew off and not complete the unnecessary work saving the insurance company these unnecessary expenses. The insurance adjuster commented no one ever tries to save the insurance company money. ServPro did showing the high level of integrity I look for in my vendors.

Everyone at this company, from Jessica in scheduling, to Kory in inspections, to Zack Praytor in operations was amazing! As a first time home-buyer, I had a 1,000 questions for each representative — which they answered with patience, honesty and accuracy. I HIGHLY suggest using this office for all in home duct work, ozone operation, fogging and general cleansing needs. Definite, 5-STAR across the board service!
