Sonic Drive-In

It is Sonic! You cannot set your sights too high but for what it is is pretty good. It is always busy and fairly fast. Four stars given that it is Sonic.

First and last time at this location. Waited at the drive-​in for 15 minutes, pressed the button twice, no answer.
We decided to pull through the drive thru instead, waited there, calling out to the speaker for 5 minutes, nothing. The car before us in the drive thru had been waiting there since we had arrived about 20 minutes before. Don’t know what was up with the employees. Thought the building was deserted or something.
Luckily we found another Sonic about seven minutes away on Oltorf St where everyone was really nice and attentive. Our food also arrived in about 5 minutes.
Save yourself trouble and go to the latter location.

This Sonic Restaurant has really went down hill fast. I never had an issue with this place since they opened until about 6 months ago. The employees at this location are really immature, rude and inprofessional… Tonight we called in a phone order to try to make it easy on everybody and the phone got passed around three times until my order got taken. We gave them at least 30mins to drive up and ask for for our order and when the young lady came up and hand us our order of boneless wings 1 large tots and 3 drinks and asked for $ 36… we asked for our entire order… she went inside and came back laughing saying that someone else left with our food and for us to wait for it to come back!!! That was it THE Manger has no MANAGEMENT SKILLS… DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO TALK TO GUEST!!! One lady was already waiting 20mins for icecream. I do not recommend anyone wasting their time and money at this one restaurant… we try to give them a chance because everyone has a bad day but the whole team needs to be retrained… sad part about all this is that it’s right in the middle of my neighborhood that I have been a part of for 35+ years. Cletus the so called manager could you use a class that teaches him communication skills, leadership skills, but most of all some RESPECT!

The drive-​thru takes forever and I’ve been here 3 – 4 times and have gotten sick from the food twice. Haven’t been back for months. Every time I get a pop it’s completely flat and nasty. The service is slow and the staff are not as friendly. I hate to put this place down and give it 2 stars, but it is what it is. The location of this location is not really convenient and is in a sketchy area with people constantly walking around.
