Several machines were broken. Some of them stunk inside, like someone washed cloth diapers. My roommate accidentally washed her clothes in a stinky machine, and her clothes stunk after. Even though I lived walking distance from spin-n-clean, I ended up driving my clothes to Woodrow Washateria all the time. WW is clean and has wifi. And it’s not too big.

Meh, this laundry place does it’s job and has a good location. However, it’s not clear what to do once you arrive… especially if it’s your first time there. Make sure you have an idea of how many«loads» of laundry your clothes will need. They have machines that go from small loads to giant loads. And the prices are charged accordingly. In other words, not all machines are going to cost you the same price. This system was not clearly communicated to me by the woman working there(sweet as she was) and they place the most expensive machines near the front. God bless the kind man doing laundry next to me who advised me to steer clear of the 6-load washer for my single load of laundry. Overall, come if you live in the area and need laundry done with little help. Don’t come if you have a better laundry place near you.

Love that they have wash and fold service available, the young lady who attended me was very kind.

Most of the dryers here are broken. I don’t usually wash my laundry here because I have a washer at home. There’s also not a full-time attendant. That would be helpful if/when you put money in a dryer and it doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do.

They hung my cashmere and Merino wool sweaters on wire hangers and let them sit for 2 weeks. $ 100 sweaters ruined. They smelled of chemicals after being dry cleaned. Owner refuses to pay for sweaters or issue refund for cleaning. Unprofessional, shady business.

Their wash and fold service was really convenient when our dryer broke. The gal that works here went out of her way to make sure I had a good experience and she gets 5 stars. The price isn’t the cheapest out there(but is close to home) and the place is a bit sketchy and cramped so average three stars there. A respectable 4 stars in all. I would return!

Posting this from my drafts folder from about 6 months ago: Today is my first time doing laundry here, and what an amazing experience! It shines because of the woman who works here, Danielle. She showed me the washers I’d need(I had 5 comforters, a sleeping bag, 2 blankets and 5 pillows that all fit in 2 oversized commercial) she saved me a bunch of coins, and is so helpful and kind. I love this place because of her. I’ll be coming back. Thanks, Spin-N-Clean, for having someone Onsite(I’ve been to others that don’t, and you’re on your own) AND for investing in someone so great!

Great service, sometimes I drop wash and fold after 2pm and it is ready the same day.

I had to wash a fluffy king-sized comforter. I tried cramming it in my economy-sized front-loader, buuut… that didn’t work. So, book in hand, off I go to the laundromat. I’d never been to a laundromat before. Never fear, though, the place is staffed from 2pm-close, and the woman behind the counter was so helpful. She saw me with this huge monstrosity of a blanket and directed me to one of the bigger washers, and even gave me tennis balls for the dryer. Also, they accept credit/debit cards! She just ran my card for what I would need, gave me dollar bills, and I changed them in the machine. For the six-load capacity washer, plus two dryer cycles, plus a Tide pod thingie, it was $ 9. If you’re bored while you wait, you can a) read a book; b) watch Wheel of Fortune on their fancy TV; c) dance around to your iPod if you’re alone because the counter lady stepped out(don’t mind the security cameras); or d) visit any of the places within walking distance of the laundromat, including the Daily Press, the Wet Whistle, the gas station across the street, or Bennu(a block or so down and across the street).

I have literally driven right by the front door of this place’s front door while(checking out a cute little grocery and the sandwich shop next to it) and yet I never even saw it. Yes, this shop is THAT unassuming. I DID notice it when I went looking for it after buying a Unilocal deal to help me handle the literally 100 plus pounds of laundry that had piled up since my washing machine broke.(Do NOT buy a Samsung appliance. I can’t keep a microwave or washing machine alive in this house! But that is a different review, I digress…) After the washing machine repairman didn’t fix the machine a SECOND time, I was off to Unilocal to find a laundromat available at 5pm on the Eastside. Low and behold, laundromat on the eastide that is also of offering a coupon for wash and fold. Awesome! The ONLY negative thing I have to say about Spin N Kleen(minus one star) is that the facilities need some updating. It is a bit scary from the outside, and if I hadn’t bought the Unilocal deal sight unseen I might’ve just kept driving. The top-loading washers looked kinda run-down as well. But, the massive front loaders looked rather spiffy and certainly got my clothes clean. I got there around 6:30 pm(they say their cut-off is 7 for wash and fold service) but since I had so much laundry I assumed no way I’d be getting my stuff back that night. Believe it or not, the awesome lady there managed to get it all done, and with no attitude, no negativity, and only above and beyond niceness! She had me fill out a little sheet of how I wanted things washed, gladly took my hangers and was happy to hang up all the men’s dress shirts and slacks without drying them AND even kept an eye out for any other clothes that might not appreciate a spin in a dryer. Wow. I even got a call about an hour after I left asking me if I wanted the t-shirts folded or hung up. Waah !? She called to check in on how to really, really, REALLY do everything perfectly? Seriously, I don’t think I could have gotten better customer service if I was the first female president. And then, I went to pick it all up. She was concerned about whether she hung all the pants up the«right» way, the way I preferred. As far as I’m concerned, the right way is the way that means I don’t have to do it. ;) Absolutely worth each and every penny. I haven’t ever had wash and fold service in the states before(only overseas) so I really can’t judge about price. My washer is STILL waiting for a part, and if it goes on another 3 weeks, I will definitely be back. Thanks wash N kleen!
