I love this location because of the interior — a ton of natural light and modern décor. The service? Not so much. Baristas aren’t very friendly — I feel as though I’m inconveniencing them by giving them my order. On my last visit, I asked to customize my drink with coconut milk, and I was met with rolled eyes and a disclaimer that she couldn’t shake my drink because it would contaminate the shakers with an added emphasis on the fact that they had«just been cleaned.» Not sure what the policy exactly is, but instead of explaining clearly or nicely, she proceeded to grumble and sigh as I gave her my card. Come for the nice interior but don’t expect much from behind the counter.

Well, it’s a Starbucks, but I do think it’s one of the better ones — as good as they get actually. The staff is friendly, and good at what they do. The wifi is fast. The restrooms are clean. Plenty of outlets for charging your devices. Tip: look under the edge of tables, or at the foot of the seats by the Berkman side window for outlets. Cons: parking can be difficult to impossible sometimes — the slots are so narrow that a lot of times you’re likely to see people park their car in two spots at once. Also, this place is WAY more architecturally appealing than most Starbucks, and also has that great Mueller vibe to it. I definitely recommend THIS location(Berkman & Barbara Jordan) over the one that’s just 3 mins away(I-35 and Barbara Jordan) — a lot of Unilocal reviews seems to confuse the two locations!

Not many smiles from the employees. Not much«friendliness». In fact, I’d venture that this is the least friendly Starbucks that I’ve been to. But the coffee is hot and it’s convenient.

I can only speak as a mobile order customer who swings in on my way to work. They always get my order right, it’s always ready on time and it’s hot! The staff are usually friendly, too. That’s better than some, less than others, but it will keep me coming back.

Very dissappointed about my visit to Starbucks this morning(10:30am). I am currently 6 months pregnant and I was craving a strawberries and crème frap. I was so excited to go an get one. I went up to register to order and I ordered the frappuccino and two of the pastries. The cashier lady very rudely asked me if it was all for me. I said yes. She then proceeded to shame me for eating too much sugar. She said she was pregnant too and she wasnt eating that much sugar. I got really embarrased bc the people in the line stared at me. I got shamed for wanting my sugary fix for the day! I did not reply to her comment and I did not ask to speak to a manager bc I had a meeting to go to, but my experience here today was the worst I’ve had at any food and drink establishment. I do not feel like visiting this location again. Unfortunately it’s the closest to my home and work. I felt so bad afterwards that I didn’t even finish my frappuccino in peace.

Today was not a good day to come to Starbucks, apparently… while I love visiting this location to have the reserve coffee, I was not impressed by their service this morning. When I asked the barista at the register about a roast that they previously served she informed me in an extremely disinterested tone that what I saw on the board was all they had. I then asked which of the roasts on the board was the lightest and she snapped«I don’t know. I don’t drink coffee,» as if that qualified her inability to answer basic questions about the product she sells. When I asked for a different employee to add a little more soy the coffee at the bar he poured some in quickly, spilled milk on my hand, then turned and walked away without a word. Not impressed.

What is this, sassy sunday? Why are all the employees working today so rude?! It’s eye roll central here, so we left REAL quick.

My local Starbuck’s is just short of 5 stars. It had a great vibe inside with a lot of locals hanging out right next to 51st street and Berkman. The service is rather quick and the staff is always super nice and happy! I just wish that there was a drive through as it would make it easier especially if you’re in a rush or if you have children… Then again I am starting to notice that in the ATX region that most you have to walk-in. Either way they still have our business!

This Starbucks is both convenient and friendly. The high ceilings are different from your normal inner mall Starbucks and surrounded with Windows to make you feel like you are both inside and outside at the same time. Great place to come and sip and snack.

Not a very cozy Starbucks but not many are truly user friendly. It’s simply laid out wrong and seemed to be in a space larger than necessary. My other issue is that I could not understand the woman taking my order very well. I’m very happy that someone from another country could find employment here but why not give her another job until she masters the language. This is not meant to be rude at all. I just want to make sure she understood my order, can make correct change and, what she said back to me was«Okay.» What I got was correct, iced coffee with cream, but a larger size than I ordered. Guess I paid for that larger size…

If you haven’t noticed by my profile and reviews, I love Starbucks — and frequent them, however, this location is just plain bad. I am only giving it three stars because 1. I love SB and 2. I did complain about this location to Starbucks’ Twitter account and they responded very promptly and were genuinely concerned about my issue — otherwise I would only give it a two. This location is less than a mile from our apartment and we walk here usually once on the weekends for a morning coffee. It takes forever! We like walking to this location as oppose to the one on 51st since it has better outdoor seating, but that’s the only reason. There is never enough staff and the wait for a drink is really unacceptable. During one visit there was literally one person working — he would take the drink orders and have to make the drinks himself. It took my husband and I nearly 20 minutes to get two iced teas. This place does have a private parking lot, but it is nearly impossible to get a spot here.

they definitely have stuff under control quite a bit better than when I wrote my first review! the staff seems more confident(as in, they know what they’re doing now) and it’s less iffy seeming when I go in. I feel the need to shout out the really nice lady with a long ponytail who must be the manager — if she’s not, she ought to be because she has always been on point AND she’s super duper sweet. get more merchandise though dude! I want more cute mugs!

I’m conflicted on this review. There are certainly a lot of positives. The space has ample seating and the windows bring in plenty of sunlight. Patio seating is ideal on a nice day. The people are AWESOME and really nice. It super-convenient to access. Grab a coffee and then do your grocery shopping at HEB! But I can’t go here when I get my coffee beans ground. They can’t seem to get the grind right for our coffee machine even when we’re specific on what we’re looking for. The other locations don’t seem to have this issue. Maybe it just needs some time to workout the kinks. I get too many bags of coffee beans where this is sort of a problem. I’ll still come to get regular coffees, drinks, and food. I hope the Starbucks Evenings rumors are true though. If so, then stay tuned for an updated review!

Great location and outstanding interior décor, friendly baristas, nice and roomy indoors and outdoor seating as well. This will most definitely be my newest hangout.

Nice Starbucks has lots of room to work on your computer and of course they have the Wi-Fi and it’s right near the H-E-B and banks and other stuff
