This was a pleasant surprise. The general tso chicken was excellent. The chicken was cut into perfectly sized pieces. Appeared to be all white meat, was tender, juicy and crispy on the outside. The sauce was just right, not overly sweet and had the right thickness to it. Vegetable egg rolls were crispy and the vegetables in them were very fresh. The combination curry fried rice was very tasty. It was a little too spicy for our taste but that may have been our mistake as we ordered it spicy. Next time we will order it medium spice level. The shrimp in the curry fried rice was perfectly cooked and was de-veined. I usually do not order shrimp from Asian restaurants because I have found that it is over cooked and not de-veined. We had wonton and egg drop soup and both were better then most of the soups I have had at other Chinese restaurants in austin. My vegetarian daughters had the vegetable fried rice and they both agreed that it was very good. My carnivorous sons both had the sweet and sour chicken and they both were very happy with it. I actually tasted their chicken and it was spot on. Crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. In summary: superbowl delivery was faster and had better food then any other Chinese delivery I have had in austin. We will definitely be ordering from superbowl again and again in the very near future.

Guys. This place is a gem. The delivery is super quick, I got my food in about 20 minutes and the food was still hot. The fried rice is the absolute best I’ve ever had. 10⁄10 would definitely recommend.

The delivery order took about 45 minutes. The man who brought the food was very nice. I got fried rice, egg drop soup, crab Rangoon and an egg roll. It’s just ordinary Chinese takeout. Nothing special but the food wasn’t bad. I will probably try another dish the next time I order.

We ordered delivery. Even when they were super busy we were updated that they were running late. The food was tasty but not mind blowing. Loved the veggie egg rolls! We ordered shrimp and broccoli, egg rolls, soup and the pepper steak. The soup was ok. Only one wonton in the soup. The shrimp and broccoli was swimming in brown sauce. Shrimp pieces were small and tasted boiled. I would try them again but they wouldn’t be a favorite.

Ordered delivery from here based on Unilocal reviews. They sent fried rice instead of Lo mein but everything was yummy. It was all ordered and delivered in less than an hour. I would try them again!

the only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the delivery driver showed up with no change. No change?!? I had $ 10.60 worth of food, a $ 4 delivery charge and because he had no change, he walked away with a $ 4.20 tip. I mean, really? Too bad, cause the food was good, however I will be ordering elsewhere in the future.

Our first time ordering from Super Bowl and we got combination fried rice HOT and combination lo mein. The curry fried rice is excellent! I like my rice super spicy and this was definitely spicy and delicious. It may have even been a little too spicy for me but I still loved it. My daughter loved the lo mein as well. She said the sauce had the perfect amount of sweetness. She really liked the egg drop soup. The egg rolls were just ok. Kind of small and I don’t like the light crust. I prefer the dark crispy egg rolls. The hot and sour soup was pretty darn good as well. It had chunky mushrooms instead of slices which I prefer. Our delivery guy was super generous and kind. It was a good experience.

I thought the only place to get egg foo young made with bean sprouts was in Chicago, since that’s the only place I’ve ever had it. Every other place, always made it with cabbage. So that’s what I was expecting when I received my order. To my surprise, it was made with the bean sprouts and I was ecstatic because it was DELICIOUS. I couldn’t even finish a patty, because it was so huge. Definitely will be ordering from this place again.

I’m in love with the combination curry lo mein. Not very spicy(even at 4) so I’ll request it spicier next time. I also ordered the jalapeño chicken, it was good. The portions are crazy big! I had it delivered to my house by eat24 and the food showed up within the hour. I’m going to order the curry lo mein again.

I have not been to the actual restaurant itself, but I have ordered take out a couple of times. The food I have gotten has been good. I say good as in nice comfort food that fills me up and makes me cozy. I would definitely order from here again, and recommend them to any others who may have a hankering for some Chinese food to satisfy those pesky hunger pangs.

We had delivery from here tonight. Arrived promptly, hot, and generally well-made. Included was one wrong soup(and two correct ones) which wasn’t a big deal, since all were good. The green bean vegetable dish was cooked with big chunks of red bell pepper, which wasn’t listed as part of the dish on the menu and completely overpowered the flavor. We ended up having to toss it. If you have any allergies, don’t trust the menu descriptions here.

Super Bowl is one of the best ‘American Chinese Food’ places I’ve been to in Austin. They give you soup, eggrolls and rice with your entrée, and everything has a lot of flavor. I mostly can speak to their vegetarian/tofu dishes, which are the best I’ve had from similar establishments. Their Kung Pao tofu has tons of tofu, water chestnuts, peanuts and bell peppers and is properly spicy. It’s not fancy, but it hits that ‘Chinese takeout’ craving really well!

It’s inexpensive, it’s quick, it’s got generous portions, and it taste good. There is not anything particularly special about this place but it’s satisfying food and it has great prices. The people who work the front the two guys and young women are always friendly and helpful. If you have a complaint it’s delt with right away which shows the people care about what they do. Good lunch specials and dinner combos. It is great for take away, and delivery. They always say 50 minutes and usually you can expect them in an hour and 15 – 30. They have never delivered in the promise time but I have learned to expect it and the food makes the extra 20 plus minutes ok.

Loved it! We came in here around 3:30, and they weren’t too busy, so we had awesome service. I got the general tso’s tofu, and it was amazing! Definitely good for vegetarians. I would come back for sure if I was in the area again.

I ordered delivery yesterday. I got the general Tso chicken and veggie lo mein. The chicken came with egg rolls, rice, and soup. The portions were huge for the price and each dish can definitely serve as two meals. Im really glad I got the lo mein because the chicken was just awful. It was tough and chewy and overall just gross. I tried three bites and ended up spitting all of them out. The lo mein was really good though. Huge portion and lots of vegetables. I would definitely try this place again but just stick to the veggie dishes. My only issue was the time it took for the food to get to me. It took over an hour. Maybe they were crazy busy. I don’t know. After an hour I had pretty much given up and called the place to cancel my order and refund my money. The guy on the phone was super apologetic and assured me it was on its way. I decided to give it a couple more minutes. It finally gets to me. I was also still hot which was great. Next time I will probably just go in and pick it up.

I’m going to keep this review very short, because there is nothing wrong I can say about this place. 3.5 stars? That’s a mistake!!! Because everything this place cranks out is just superb. They’re known for their FRIEDRICE, and it’s quite the bargain too. For $ 7.953 people can get a good meal out of the mountain of rice, meat and veggies. On top of that you get a cup of soup which is just A+ and some spring rolls which were decent. The best part of this whole experience is that the place is family owned and if you eat in, which people rarely do in this place, because it’s more of a takeout place, they tend to you like it were a 5 star restaurant or rather a part of the family. Lastly, this place the food, and the owners reminded me of back home… The takeout places in NYC. Since I’ve been in Austin I’ve been craving some cheap takeout style Chinese food — when I tasted the food and expressed how amazing it was and how it reminded me of NYC, the owner said«oh were all from New York, moved here 14 years ago.» That my friends is an A+ Experience!!!

I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it. This is solid Chinese food on the south side. Sure, it’s divey, but sometimes the divey places can surprise you. The lo mein is good, the soups are questionable, and the entrees are decent. The iced tea was icky, and you really need to double check your plate before eating. The last time I was here, I saw one of the employees kill a fly that had landed on top of the to-go styrofoam containers. He wiped it off, and then didn’t throw the top container away! Ewww. Anyway, if you’re looking for a quick meal, and don’t want to drop a lot of money, this place would fit the bill.
