«Note the name of the restaurant has been changed to Tekila’s Mexican Food. The food was good and the employees very friendly. If you are looking for a fancy Mexican food restaurant, then this is not the place for you. But if you want good, reasonably priced food…»

Oh, hello traditional Mexican food. Where have you been all of my life? My mom said it best, when no one in there speaks English, you know you are in the right place. 3 tacos for $ 2.19 + homemade tortillas + breakfast tacos all day = this girl is really happy about how close it is to my place! You might want to take a friend who speaks Spanish because my mom had trouble without me and ended up with the wrong kind of tortilla and ingredients. However, it was still delicious. If you’re missing REAL Mexican food, give it a go, it would definitely give my hometown places some competition.

super fast and super cheap! i HAD to have my taco fix and was craving a torta at the same time, so i decided to try this out. i walked in feeling a little out of place b/c for some reason everyone turns to stare at me while i was looking at the menu, while i was ordering, and while i was waiting for the food. then a guy, from a table not too far away, walks towards me after i sat down to wait for my food, asking if i had been helped. yes, i have, thank you. and you just watched me order, but okaaay. so then he goes behind the counter and just stands there looking at me as though he, too, wonders why i have so many moles on my face. luckily the weird wait was short. less than 4 minutes and $ 10, i had in my hand 2 tacos and 2 tortas! the al pastor taco was ok. nothing fab– came with cilantro and onions. the beef fajita taco was simple and flavorful– came with diced tomatoes and lettuce. the beef torta was ok. i guess they didn’t catch me saying«sour cream on the side» so it was slathered in white goo. the beef was decent, but the bolillo was a little on the stale side. i guess i would have preferred it toasted b/c then the hardness of the bread is no longer as obvious! the chicken torta was less flavorful but the bolillo was more moist. maybe the heat seeped thru the bread a bit better? at any rate, i’m not really complaining! food for two and under $ 10. good stuff. what’s not so good is leaving the place. harder to do during traffic hours… no one lets you out b/c they’ve been waiting in one stupid lane to get onto S IH35 for the past 10 minutes!

A place as ugly as a Pizza Hut painted yellow must have something going on to have such a crowded parking lot during peak hours. The food is affordable, fast and decent basic Mexican.

Taqueria Arrandinas has taken over yet another closed Pizza Hut — they should just rename themselves Taco Hut and make it easy on us Gringos. I pass this location at least once a week and have been waiting for the«Opening Soon» signs to come down and the«Now Open» signs to come up. Today was the first time I noticed the«Now Open» signs so I made a quick right into the parking lot. I stopped by just after 11AM with no wait and ordered a breakfast taco(egg and potato) and a Pastor(perfectly grilled meat, onions and cilantro) both on tasty house made warm corn tortillas served with a nice and spicy salsa plus a Topo Chico for less than 5 bucks! The menu has tacos, tortas, burritos, soups, combo-plates and specials. I am sure this place will become busy once word is out that they are open. So, check it out before you have to wait in line! FYI — They are open till 12AM during the week!
