I absolutely love Taqueria Castillo. I order tacos from here about twice a week. The steak fajita taco with onion and cilantro(of course!) is my favorite. The owner is so nice and she makes the best aguas fresca. All of the flavors are great but my favorite is watermelon! A Huge to go cup is only $ 2.50 it’s awesome I recommend this place to anyone and everyone. A Truly great addition to the neighborhood. Only thing, I wish the picadillo would come back! :) :) A+ food !!!

Totally yummy $ 2 tacos! Typical taco truck style, good, not amazing, but about what you expect for two dollars. The in-truck made corn tortillas are superb. Picadillo was really great! Cubes of perfect potato and well seasoned ground beef! So good!

I ordered 3 tacos; barbacoa, carnitas, & pollo Mexicano. My girlfriend ordered a chicken quesadilla. They offered 2 delicious salsas, a green poblano and a red and chunky one. The carnitas was good, but lacked the crispy bits. The barbacoa was the one I liked best. We both agreed the chicken tasted off. Perhaps it was imported or had been frozen. The tortillas are home made and quite good. It’s also nice that they have pictures for the gringos.

The main reason I keep coming back here is because of their home-made corn tortillas. They are legit! They’re also dangerously close to my house. Maybe if I ran there with a backpack filled with 20lbs in weights I could feel less guilty about taking down those tacos with the frequency that I currently do. Surprisingly enough, I have yet to try their breakfast offerings. And suddenly the inspiration for morning runs no longer escapes me!
