Grocery shopping is one of my favorite things to do… I am like a kid at a candy factory when I go to MT… so glad that there is real good food right next to it. We tried their Singapore noodles and spicy Tofu. Both the dishes are flavorful albeit a little mild. The food came out fast and everything tasted fresh. The service was friendly and fast. Definitely a good place for a quick flavorful bite.

The old man can go to hell for ruining my meal with«next time you not ready, don’t say ready» all I did was ask my bf if he was ready as well, that took 2 seconds before we started ordering, I’m a waitress too and that was the most unprofessional encounter I’ve had, we might be young adults but I wills always at least tip $ 5 on a $ 20 tab. In this case you got 10% for your shitty service. Never coming back again.

This is the spot for the perfect cross between chicken Phở and Ramen noodles. I have tried many restaurants and this is my go to if I am sick and need comfort food.

Served us cold fish, the waittress did not believe us when we told her. Somehow, our fish, which she said was freshly made, cooled to below room temperature in the 10 minutes since we ordered it. Our noodles were dried out and completely unseasoned, and the waittress told us that the locals prefer it that way, while other dishes had no lack of seasoning.

Not bad not great. While ingredients were fresh and everything was cooked well(not greasy or salty), the three things we had were just bland. Maybe it was an off night based on other reviews. We will eventually be back again as this was your first time. So at least worth a visit to give it a try.

After speaking with a co-worker who claimed he ate the best Asian food here since moving to Austin I was in. A noodle house is what they are and hold true to. I got there after 2 p.m. so traffic wasn’t an issue inside. I was promptly greeted, seated and waited on. I wasn’t sure what dish I desired and they have several. Finally I informed my waitress it was my first time and she made a suggestion. I went with it and my dish wasn’t bad at all. It was a beef, chicken and shrimp combo with broad noodles and bok choy. The brown sauce was smokey and decent, however I could have used a touch more flavor. I will return but for now 3 stars, for service, cleanliness and food.

My husband and I usually love this restaurant but today we received very bad food. I always order the Salt and Pepper Shrimp. Usually yummy but today it was greasy and had a thick breading on it. Very little salt or pepper seasoning. Complained to 2 managers and all they would say is very popular dish. I said yes but this isn’t the dish I am used to getting here. No offer to redo or take away. My chicken and walnuts also not up to par. My husband had garlic chicken and he said it was good. Also, I had to clean tops of condiments, they were very sticky and dirty. Don’t think we will go back. There are too many places in This China center to waste money at TC Noodle house.

I had TC Noodle for the first time today. I had the jalapeño chicken which was very good. My sister has the blackened chicken and my mom had the beef and broccoli. All of our dishes were very fresh and satisfying. Their menu is pretty large and I will be definitely trying this spot again. Next time I’ll try some noodles!

My dad loves this place and I think it is pretty darn good too. Love the noodles and the dumplings. I’ll try most anything and most anything they have. Service was good and very friendly. I will be back.

My husband and I LOVE this place! Some of our favorite things to eat there are their chicken lo mein, fried tofu, hot ‘n’ sour soup, dumplings and their red bean sesame balls. Their noodle dishes are so flavorful that extra sauce is hardly ever required. We love their hot chilli oil on everything though! Everytime we have a craving for good and fresh Asian food, this place never fails!

Love the rice noodle curry duck which reminds of Koay Teow Soup from back home but with heat. The rice noodle with satay beef reminded us of Curry Chee Cheong Fun from Penang. Nice dish.

Located at the Chinatown of north austin, this place has some pretty authentic chinese dishes: rice noodle soup, rice noodle with mixed meat and veggies, fried crispy noodle, and rice omelet. I had the rice noodle with mixed meat of beef, chicken and shrimps, and veggies. The rice omelet was great; you should try it if you’ve never tried one before. I like this place and have come back several times. FOOD: 5⁄5 SERVICE: 4⁄5 AMBIANCE: 4⁄5

Ordered to go. I only had the combo lo mein, but it was delicious, and still hot when I drove 15 minutes to my house(granted it was 95 degrees outside and my car was like an oven).

Overall the food was pretty good. Their sauteed dumplings were some of the best i’ve had! The beef satay noodle bowl was delicious, as were the salt and pepper shrimp. The hu tieu(noodle soup) however was just ok. The broth was not flavorful as I’ve had before.

I’m working this week at a different location to cover for somebody who is out. I forgot my lunch today so decided to try some place new and found this restaurant on my Maps App. My order was simple — Beef Lo Mein, light on the vegetables. It took me about 8 minutes to get there from work and my food was ready when I arrived. It was another 8 minutes back to work before I could try it. The noodles were amazing! This is definitely some of the better Lo Mein that I’ve had in the city. I was very pleased and ate until I couldn’t anymore. The restaurant itself seemed nice. It was clean and open, I would have been comfortable eating there. It was plenty busy as well — they seem to be doing good business. When I’m in the area I’ll definitely be coming back.

Our orders: Rice cake omelette(xtra crispy) is always a win win. Shaken beef still tender even though we requested to cook well done for our toddler. TC shrimps over egg noddles was outstanding. It’s so good to the point that I gotta go back to order Togo the next day. Staff was so attentive. A lady at the front desk(don’t know her name), she’s a sweetest lady ever… she offered us free deserts while dining. Then she also gave me free desert to take home for my baby when I went in to pick up my orders. We will be back soon!

Had lunch here after going to the gym on Saturday. came out to Chinatown to find Chinese Broccoli… looks like spinach but tastes even better. We were starving so we stopped by here after finding it had 4 stars on Unilocal. we ordered: 1) Beef with Chinese Broccoli.(might as well try the dish I am trying to recreate, right?) 2) chicken Tsao 3) hot and sour soup(very mild compared to other place we have had) and the onions they put on top as garnish were super fresh bc the taste was unmistakable. I’m sure they shop next door for their ingredients. THe beef was so tender — not a single chewy piece on the plate. Both come with white rice. My only«beef» would be the option to get brown rice. I was super afraid I was eating jasmine rice that raises your blood sugar levels higher than pure sugar itself(idk why but it’s in the GI books…) I loved loved loved what I ordered though and cant wait to go back and try a noodle dish.

I got the salt and pepper chicken and fried pork dumplings for lunch. The pork dumplings were very good. They were well spiced and properly fried crispy with great dipping sauce. The salt and pepper chicken was the best version of the dish I have ever had. The prices were pretty solid too. The reason I did not give them five stars was the service. I was asked twice if u was ready to order before I had even had my menu a minute by two different times. It was a good first dining experience overall.

What’s to love: — clean bathrooms — fast service — extensive menu Why only 3 stars? Just personal preference in food tastes. Hubby and I were full at the end of the meal… but both of us agreed the food was OK. No particular complaints. Just nothing we would be dying to come back for.

Interestingly, I needed to come here twice and order gluttonously twice before I could decide whether I even liked this place or not. Conclusion: They are just inconsistent. I don’t like the rice cake pancake, but apparently they make it well here. I really enjoyed the shaken beef noodle and the pan fried noodle, but hated myself after eating it. Basically, they do decently anything that’s supposed to pack a salty punch and be super flavorful AKA all the more unhealthy, heavy stuff. What they do NOT do well is anything that requires a subtlety, like the rice porridge or the stir fried vegetables. Actually I’m pretty sure I make a better rice porridge than they do. It was bland and not fragrant like good rice porridge is supposed to be. I was super excited about the you tiao on the porridge but that was a flop too. We ended up pouring(gasp) soy sauce into the rice porridge for shits and giggles. Did not manage to coax some taste out of it, but did manage to giggle at the funny brown color. Anyway, I digress. The prices are good for what you get. There is actually service here… which cannot be said for most asian restaurants. I recommend you come try this place when bored with better food options, get bored with this, then go back to the better places.
