Thanks for this info. K.B. I was just going over there today to look at an apartment. I’ve learned the hard way. I now know to research and look at review.

I will have to agree with Piper’s statement. I moved here two months ago. The first few nights I was kept up with the sound of rats eating through the wood trying to get to the food in my cabinets. When I woke up there was rat fecal matter all over the floor. There was even fecal matter on my utensils inside the drawer. I took pictures and explained to management that I work in the medical field and can’t be kept up all night listening to rats. They pretended they had no idea what I was talking about and would put sticky traps inside. I put dog food on one of the traps and two nights later a 6″ rat was stuck to the sticky trap. As not to watch the rat suffer I smashed his head in with a hammer. I took the rat down to management and told them this needed to be taken care. They have not and due to the living conditions I am allowed to break my lease. They offered another apartment. Are you kidding?! The laundromat is a joke. There is usually only one washer that even works. The grounds are filthy bc they do not restock the animal waste bags. So I am paying $ 900 a month for a one bedroom apt that is infested with rats, not mice. Bubonic plague comes to mind. I am now staying with a friend bc I get about two hours of sleep at night. The rats have urinated on my rugs and other areas of my apt. I can’t even walk barefoot in my own place. I spent $ 40 on my own traps. They are too smart and every trap has been avoided. Management stated they would poison the rats, but then we will all have to suffer through the rats rotting to death in the walls. The health department will be called. Not one person should have to pay to live like this.
