Ty Davidson, DDS

Ty and his team are all-pros…no waiting, high quality care, straight forward explanation of what’s recommended /​needed and all around fun people. They also were fantastic with my three young children. If you want a power point presentation about your dental health and love an upsell, look elsewhere. If you’re looking for top notch dental care, done efficiently and well by the «A» team, you should visit Dr. Davidson’s practice.

I came to Ty Davidson’s office for the first time about 2 years ago when I was in search of a local dentist to do all of my cleanings and routine maintenance. Since then, I have gone back for 3 more cleanings and to get an old filling repaired.
The filling that Ty did for me was by far the best filling I’ve ever had. Usually, I’m pretty anxious about getting my teeth worked on. I hate the drills, how dry my mouth gets, the icky taste, the needles, and especially when my tongue is numbed. I expressed this to Ty and he was very understanding. He even managed to do all of the numbing for the tooth (a pre-​molar) with one shot since I told him I hate being stuck with a needle multiple times. The procedure was painless and quick! I was in and out of the office (including the wait time) in 30 minutes.
Ty Davidson does expert, careful, and honest work. In the past I’ve always felt that my dentists have tried to do extra or unnecessary work, but this is definitely not the case here! I trust him 100% with all of my dental care. As an added bonus, I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen and the staff is super friendly. The office itself isn’t swanky or fancy as some other facilities, but I actually prefer it as is. It’s much more cozy and comforting and I like the fact that it’s a small practice. I definitely recommend Dr. Davidson’s office to all of my friends and fellow Unilocalers that are looking for an excellent and honest dentist.

So I’m not usually a huge proponent of Groupons because I think they can do a lot of harm to local businesses… however this is a prime example of when it works.
I went into Ty for a teeth whitening treatment at some point. I just loved their little office and how friendly the whole staff is. This was no exception. It had been awhile since my last teeth cleaning (sorry Mom!) so I was due.
Patty the hygienist and I chatted amiably as she scraped around my teeth. She was really sweet, informative and gentle enough that my teeth didn’t ache afterward. Hey, I like clean teeth as much as the next person but I dont want my face to hurt all day.
Ty came in and did a quick check, looked at my xrays and pronounced that I had «fancy teeth» — which I thought was pretty hilarious. His way of saying that my teeth were strong and probably wouldn’t give me any issues in the years to come.
Happy with my newly cleaned teeth and how easy it was to get what can be a nasty business over with.

Still reeling from the expensive diagnosis I had just received from a zealous periodontist, I went to Ty for a second opinion. Oh sweet humanity! This office is a shining beacon in the dark world of dentistry. Professional, yet relaxed. I was at ease from the moment I walked through the door. Finally I have found my dental home.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Davidson’s for years. He’s honest, honest, honest. Everyone is friendly. I highly recommend!

The staff of this small office are very friendly– they get to know their patients. They never nag about whether you’ve been flossing, and are very patient and caring and willing to explain everything that’s happening. Very helpful in working out payments too.

Dr. Davidson and his team are great! If you are looking for a no nonsense dentist then this is the place for you. I have had dentists in the past who recommended all sorts of unnecessary work that would have cost lots of money. None of that here. Great cleanings by a very experienced hygienist. Easy in and out in 20 minutes!

Dr. Davidson is definitely the way to go! I’ve been a patient for 10 years plus and have always been well taken care of by Dr. D and great staff. I love turning people on to this dentist b/​c when they report back they always have the best things to say about him and his hip office. If you need a good dentist with no hassles, go see Dr. Davidson.

I have been going to this dentist for about 5 years and they are all great in the office. Everyone is very friendly and laid back. I love Ty! He is so nice and helpful. It is hard to find a likable dentist but I feel very glad that I have.

These folks think I’m nuts! Oh well. I had written in my patient info sheet that I’m ‘terrified of needles’ but I didn’t write that I’ve got fillings so when they discovered that I did have fillings they asked how it went and were really shocked to learn that I did it without any numbing. It hurt, but I didn’t have my ‘chill pills’ so it was the only option. Ty let me know that if they found any cavities they could help me through the needle thing and I appreciate that, but I was cavity free, so no worries.
They’re really nice and gentle, I think that’s the most important part, right?
