I am going to simply share quotes from my four year old daughter, Calianna, as she sums it up better than I ever could. «This is werrrrryyyyyyy good. «- in regards to the corn dog. «These chocolate chip cookies are gooder than regular chocolate chip cookies. «- in regards to the chocolate chip cookie.

Holy freaking cow!!! This was my first but not last visit! I had the breakfast sliders and even though it was in the evening it hit the spot! Everything was so full of flavor just delicious. The avocado pecan chocolate chip cookie also delicious, a perfect ending to my meal. It was soft but not too sweet! My friends got the lasagne and i have to say for a food truck the food tasted like restaurant food. I definitely will go back again. Five stars all around!!!

I have been to Unity Vegan Kitchen countless times and have always always always been served a 100% fantastic meal. I have no complaints whatsoever. Try everything. It is all superb. I especially love the sandwiches(sundried tomato/basil, muffaletta) for a super hunger-quenching meal that travels well as a to-go option. The bread always tastes super fresh, and there are so many layers of mouthwatering goodness packed in. The location is great, with ample parking and other food trucks for those in your group who may not want a veg meal(offer ‘em a bite of yours though, show them how amazing veg food is!) It’s a cool set up, with a projector screen that shows movies/sport games(I watched the Superbowl there, it was awesome!), a stage that hosts live music, and fire pits for during the cooler winter months. It’s a BYOB food truck lot, with a store within walking distance that sells alcohol should that strike your fancy. Unity Vegan Kitchen usually has a freshly-made drink special, like Limeade, that is delicious with or without libations added in. Oh, and be sure to top off your meal with one of their cookies… you will not regret it!

Yum! We ordered the vegan Parmesan pasta with fried eggplants. They were absolutely delicious! It’s also located at a less touristy area, so it’s mainly the locals that go to this food truck park.

I really want to give this place five stars because there is a lot about it that I love. — I love how local it is! — I love that it seems like on week nights one gal is running the show — get it girl! — I love the smart recipes on the menu — and I love that I can walk to it. And for the most part the food isn’t bad. Really fresh herbs and produce which is great. And I feel like for a food truck the portion sizes are really big and filling. But there are a few things I really wish would change and I thought they would over the year or so that I’ve been a customer but they haven’t. — There is usually only 2 gluten free options. Most vegans I know also don’t eat gluten or try to not have a meal completely consisting of grain products. — I usually always get a stomach ache after eating here. Possibly because of gluten contamination but usually that’s not a huge issue for me, and I know that a food truck kitchen is small so I’m not placing blame for that one. I’m so close to a five star situation here. I love a lot about this place! I see it becoming a hit!

They have a pretty limited menu, but(1) that’s to be expected from a food truck and(2) who needs an extensive menu when everything you serve is awesome? I loved the sun-dried tomato and tofu sandwich. The tomato spread was divine — it had really deep flavors and left me craving more. I also had the muffaleta, which was equally delicious. It was topped with homemade cashew cheese and olive tapenade, making for a really flavorful one-two punch. I scarfed down both sandwiches in a matter of minutes. Both were rich and had a nice combination of flavors. I would have gone back for seconds(or thirds and fourths, depending on how you count) if we weren’t in a hurry to head downtown. I’ll have to stop by here again next time I’m in town.

Got the meatball sub and it was sooooooo good. Eggplant fries are to die for, and the meatballs had alot of flavor. This is definitely something everyone should try even if you aren’t vegan it is super delicious

I am not vegan, but was willing to give this a try. So happy I did. The spring rolls and the muffaletta sandwich are my favorite, but I have been watching Leslie’s facebook and instagram pages and it looks like she is doing some great new dishes.

Vegan«Chicken» & Waffles! It was so yummy. I took off one star because I really wish that the gravy(delicious gravy btw!!!) was on the side along with a little cup of syrup :) My waffle had so much gravy that it got a little soggy for my taste… Lovely location :)

Best vegan food I have ever had in Austin. Finally a place that confuses you as to whether you are actually eating vegan or not!!! Sesame chicken was amazing. I can’t wait to go back and try the lasagna. Everyone must go here. The truck looked immaculate and clean. And the sweet owner was just wonderful. Must go!!! Vegan or not!!!

As a strict vegetarian, I really appreciate this place. I don’t eat eggs and and very little dairy. So any joint that rocks a vegan chick’n n waffle with cream gravy is my hero. Can’t wait to try the chick’n and dumplings!

Awesome food truck! Great relaxed atmosphere and super friendly service! Great location for a casual, vegan meal at a reasonable price. Kept simple and to the point. Outdoor seating — or «to go» options. The cookies were fantastic …;)

Delicious. Was really mad that I missed the cheesesteak/curly fry special! oh well Had the special of the week: «chicken» fajitas, with grilled veggies, flour tortillas and spanish rice. The queso(vegan, of course) was delicious and better than I thought it would be. We each had a strawberry lemonade and it was excellent! I also love this location, right in the Barton Springs area… It was a nice afternoon to sit outside. The other food trucks surrounding Unity looked good as well(one was Lebanese and I believe the other one was Spanish) One thing that I loved about this food is that I did not feel heavy after I ate… That’s why I choose to eat vegan as much as I can!

Pretty healthy vegan food truck. The lasagne is pretty good! They used to have crab cakes that were, in my opinion, the best thing on the menu! I’ve never been impressed by the sandwiches. They’ve been trying out a different items lately, so follow them on social media to find out what they’re cooking up on a given day.

Well it’s perfect location, there’s ample parking, and Leslie has some delicious food here. She’s all smiles, and very pleasant to be around you’ve got to come check this place out next major food trailer. I ordered the spring rolls, and a quinoa salad and was not disappointed whatsoever. The salad is nice and light with a tasty peanut sauce, and the spring rolls had a nice crunch with the zesty tahini sauce.

I loved this place. The owner is SUPER friendly. It’s a set menu but she makes everything from scratch and it is all delicious. You cannot go wrong. I tried the pesto sandwich and I can honestly say it’s one of the best I’ve had. The spring rolls with peanut sauce were also delicious and surprisingly filling so great value! Lastly the lasagna is very tasty and ALLVEGAN. I can’t wait to go back and recommend it to all vegans!

The review that I am about to write flies in the face of my upbringing. I was a picky eater-THE picky eater. Meals needed to include chicken nuggets/strips and batter-fried potatoes and for the love of all things there should be zero green/natural/actuallygrown things on my plate. I was a winner, ya’ll. The same human who required ketchup to cover every ounce of frozen food item on my plate even 8 years ago has undergone a revolutionary change. I can make grown-up choices and eat like an adult:) Unity Vegan Kitchen is a glorious example of why I am so very glad to now consume foods which are healthy, fresh, and flavorful. On a breezy Saturday night, my spouse and I visited this food truck because he claimed to have experienced«the greatest sandwich ever created» while I was out of town for work. To be honest, I was not thrilled. Even though I now am brave and choose foods that are not just the equivalent of a happy meal, I frequently crave a good burger or more standard fare. A vegan food truck had me nervous. I LOVE being wrong. I was SO wrong. I was prepared for dry, flavorless, weird food. I did not get that. I ordered the Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto and Tofu Sandwich, and my spouse got the lasagna. I feared for the both of us. VEGAN lasagna? Seriously? The meals were brought quickly, and they were OUTSTANDING. My sandwich was on bread which was fluffy, chewy, and unreal. The middle(the sandwich innards?) was spectacular-tomato, savory pesto, and creaminess reminiscent of cheese but obviously not:) Spouse’s lasagna was great! I had a bite(he is more generous than I), and it was warm, also«cheese-y», and filling. I was STUFFED after this meal. To be honest again, I had been worried that we would not get enough food and have to pick up a second dinner elsewhere. Wrong wrong wrong. Go to this food truck, sit outside, and thank the excellent chef! It is a wonderful place.
