Decent prices and friendly staff! I got eggs benedict and my boyfriend got a Belgian waffle and corned beef hash. The hash was nice and crispy. The hollandaise sauce on my benedict was delicious and I appreciated having the option of Taylor ham or pork roll. We’ll definitely be going back. Their dinner specials sound fantastic :)

Food was in huge portion but lacked taste. The owner was the best part of the experience. Tasted like diner food without seasoning.

Love this restaurant! We go here at least once a week and the food is always delicious! The owner, Mark, is always welcoming, super nice, and accommodating as are the waitresses. We’ve had family parties there multiple times and every time there’s no problem. Every time some one wants to try a new restaurant Bedrock is my first suggestion. The menu has a great variety so there is something for everyone. Also the bathrooms are neat and tidy as is the rest of the restaurant. I highly recommend it for any occasion, whether it be for date night, a party, or just a few friends having dinner; the atmosphere is always right.

Bedrock is an hour from home but after visiting once while in town I had to make a special trip back just to enjoy the great food!
We had three different dinners on a recent Sunday night, as well as several appetizers and desserts. Seafood, pork chop, steak: you can’t go wrong, and we loved the fun names of the carefully crafted dinners. For apps we agreed that the chicken fingers were tops in their class, honorable mention to the beer and pretzel cheese bites.
But honestly, you need to save room for dessert. They have a great assortment and the three we tried were all delicious. The chocolate chocolate chocolate something with white chocolate shavings and a crescent moon (chocolate) on top is amazing, and alone worth the trip.
AND, the service was great! I have a new favorite place at the shore!
[My previous lunch at the Bedrock with a large group was equally fine, with an assortment of wraps, sandwiches and salads all consumed with gusto. The chicken salad wrap was delicious and the thanksgiving wrap looked very tempting — but no one was sharing!]

I absolutely love this place! My entire family loves Bedrock. The menu is huge and all of the food is delicious. The thanksgiving wrap – omg pure deliciousness! I have never had anything here that I didn’t like. The owner makes you feel like you are part of the family, and is always so accommodating. My fiancé and I are looking into having our rehearsal dinner here. I recommend it to all!

We were a party of 7, including 2 children. Everyone enjoyed the food and the service was fine. The children were given special attention by both the waitress and host, who we assume to be the owner. The owner also carefully guided my mom (92 and with a cane) to the table pointing out variations in floor surface. You don’t expect that level of service. We’re been to Bedrock Bistro at least 6 times with a variety of guests and no one has ever been disappointed. Prices are fair and parking is usually convenient. We’ll be back, I’m sure.

We had dinner on a Sat. night in December. Ahhhh … no summertime tourists. So the place was busy but not packed. The ambiance is comfortable and clean. The owner was friendly, as was our waiter. The food was good. The menu is too big for this place to be anything near gourmet. I suspect that a lot of the dishes are pre-​prepared. Nonetheless, the food is rather decent, the portions are ample, and the prices are reasonable. Overall. a nice place for lunch or dinner at the shore.

Went to Bistro last night with friends for dinner. Got there at 7:00 and was seated right away. Had the boneless buffalo wings which were tasty. I had the Bistro pasta which had shrimp lobster in a cream sauce my wife had the filet mignon steak which was cooked correctly. Three bottles of wine later (BYOB) we shared a chocolate dessert. We weren’t rushed.

Great food great prices. Feel like home. The service has been wonderful and so is the food

My friends and I have visited the Bedrock many times the passed two years and the
experience has always been great. The menu is extensive the food is always great and the staff is attentive and friendly. Its is a BYOB restaurant and a liquor store is next door which is very convienient.

Decent place, but I’m sure I won’t find myself here in the summer — I won’t fight the traffic for it!
We had a coupon but couldn’t use it. No big deal.
The menu is pretty big. I ordered the tilapia with coconut almond breading — YUM! It comes with veggies and a potato. The sides were a bit cold but nothing to send it back for. I can’t remember what my boyfriend ordered but he seemed happy with it. Didn’t order dessert but they looked good. It was old fashioned where they prepare all of the desserts on a tray to show you rather than give you a menu.
I’m pretty sure our waiter was the owner. The wait staff was nice but I think poorly organized. All the waiters helped all the tables and it just got confusing after a while.
It was VERY loud — the acoustics don’t compliment the wined-​up 50-​somethings’ laughter well. Insta headache if you’re under the age of 40.
Pretty good food, pretty good prices. Maybe we’ll visit again in the off season.

great service price and portions in a no frills but comfy atmosphere. creative hometown kind of place. had the strawberry fields salad and montreal burger w fries… both excellent. good go-​to spot for midweek lunch.

Really enjoy this place. An inventive menu featuring hugely portioned fresh salads and excellent sandwiches. Everything I’ve gotten from here has been really on point
Service is super friendly and efficient, overall a really solid place

Good food. Extensive menu. BYOB. Weekday specials (buy one, get one free) during at least the summer. Priced reasonably. Not greatest ambiance. If I were the owner, I probably wouldn’t wear old jeans in a Sat night.

Scotch on the Rocks (salmon and scallops), My Way (homemade pasta)… delicious sauces, vegetables just right… a chocolate dessert that was as tasty as it promised to be… excellent service and the owner stops at the tables to be sure you’re enjoying your visit. Wonderful experience at the shore. BYO and that works as does everything in this «not yet discovered by the masses»… Bistro… Don’t let everyone know…

Great food with pleasant service. My wife enjoyed a huge, tasty portion of Chilean Sea Bass while I had the Ahi Tuna and shrimp combo. Both were fresh and well prepared without being overly complicated.
We particularly liked the fresh, mixed vegetables that were served with the entrees. Again, they were fresh and not over-​seasoned– they tasted like vegetables.
We liked our server. He was nice and did his job well without being over-​bearing.
A plus is the Frank Sinatra tribute in the hallway leading to the restrooms. There are many framed Sinatra albums along with autographed Sinatra photographs. Pretty cool.

Came here last night for buy one get one. Service was a little on the slow side but the food was fantastic! My husband had poached salmon and I had the blackened grouper. Fish was cooked perfectly! The food definitely pushed this to a 4 — otherwise it would have been a 3.5.

This is my dad’s favorite place ever! so, we went for Father’s Day, naturally. they have a huge menu! there is literally something for everyone on the menu plus ten+ daily specials. AND… BYO!
although the food isn’t culinary creativity at it’s best nor is it cooked with the best technical precision (overcooked pasta, re-​heated soup), the taste and portion are all great value for your money. food alone, i’d rate 3.5 stars.
what makes me give it 4 stars is the service. probably some of the nicest, most accommodating wait staff i’ve experienced in the area. Even the owner will pitch in and wait a table– and I really love that! they take the time to get to know the regulars and it’s just a warm, welcoming atmosphere which i really appreciate =)
I DO recommend: steak dishes (my dad’s filet was cooked very nicely and sauce was a delicious compliment), ravioli’s, wraps, anything with their vodka sauce, fresh shrimp, and definitely dessert. also, coming during busy times (weekday lunch or weekend breakfast/​dinner– they seem to be best then for whatever reason)
I DON’T recommend: salad, lobster bisque (overly creamy), coming during the slow times (weekend lunch)
all in all, solid choice, something for everyone. a good place to go with family because you can relax, have a nice meal with sophisticated but laid back ambiance, talk while not spending too much money and avoid pretentious, ritzy shore dining.
