Avon Bakery was a good spot to have a quick breakfast. The restaurant is small and pretty self service, but the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. We ordered the Full Monty and French Toast. Hubby really enjoyed the French Toast and I liked my plate. The potatoes were perfectly seasoned and the bacon was good. I also had wheat toast and the employee there gave me jam, which was yummy. I also ordered a chocolate croissant to go and it was delightful!

I swung in here quickly for a bagel while I was in Beavercreek for business. It is a small deli that specializes in artisan breads. They have a great selection of bagels and I had a hard time deciding on one. I ended up with the Veggie Swiss Bagel with Veggie Cream Cheese; toasted. It was really good and I enjoyed it! The deli was clean and the staff was friendly. I would definitely go back if I was in the area.

Pretty f’ing pathetic that I paid 4.13 for a bagel with extra cream cheese and it came out with hardly any on it. And for that price at least they could spread it around on the bagel not just quickly try to make money. They did put more on it after I complained and still didn’t even spread it around on the bagel. Of course I had to tip a dollar because there’s a tip jar and the cashier was watching me like a hawk while I was signing my receipt.

Quick and easy place for a good pastry and coffee breakfast. Take it to go and enjoy the Eagle River while eating breakfast. Reasonable and friendly!

First of all it’s amazing that I’m even able to write this review… parking here can be tricky during the lunch rush, but I now see why. Thank goodness I persevered and stuck with my plan of grabbing a healthy lunch to go! I got to enjoy the salad special if the day, all while taking in the glorious valley on this absolutely amazing day! The salad was packed full of goodies; baby kale, spinach, shaved Brussel sprouts, carrots, goat cheese, sunflower seeds and dried cranberries, all topped with a deliciously grilled chopped chicken… YUM! The baked goods looked incredible! They have a vast variety of breads, pies & cakes to choose from. Therefore the temptation was too great… I had to get me a little something for later and with a name like ‘magic bar’, I’m sure it will be a great treat to share and savor!

It was alright. nothing special. Coffee below average, got a couple croissants a banana bread and a cinnamon bun, and everything was old. There are not many better optios around, that’s why my 3 stars but will not go back.

Amazing steak bomb sanwich. It costs 11 bucks and worth every penny of it. I would come back again and again. It is less than 10 mins from Vail Village.

Super friendly staff, on par sandwiches, regular AND iced coffee. Mind blown. This place competes with the best delis I’ve had. It was baby friendly with a good amount of seating. Oh and we ate there on Easter.

This is my favorite spot in Avon. The steak, egg, and cheese sandwich is incredible. The staff is super friendly and make you feel right at home.

In town for the WinterWonderGrass festival, we were looking for a local spot to grab breakfast and lunch. Around breakfast time there were lines out the door, so we moved on. Came back for a late lunch. I ordered the Turkey Club, and it was good enough. My friend ordered the veggie burrito, and it came with raw potatoes. Completely raw. After an awkward interaction with the staff, they recooked everything. Unfortunately, the burrito still wasn’t enjoyable. I also tried the coffee crumb cake. It was dry and lacking flavor.

I’m normally used to cashiers being fairly apathetic, and my visit this morning was no different. However, I normally don’t write Unilocal review unless I really feel disrespected. When I walked in this morning it was busy like usual, one cashier with a customer, the other doing something with his register. I didn’t receive any eye contact from the open cashier, nor did I get a simple hello. I assumed he wasn’t logged onto the register. WIthin a few minutes another man entered, and was met with a greeting from the cashier, and presumed to get his«usual» order ready. I was obviously upset by the incident and left because I was in a hurry to get food for our staff meeting so I later called to speak to a manager, which turned out to be the apathetic cashier. Instead of a simple apology, I got excuses and a reason why it may have been my fault that I got disrespected. Needless to say my organization will no longer be purchasing from Avon Bakery, which comes out to about $ 500 – 600 a year. As a business serving to our local crowd, you need managers who are welcoming and responsible for mistakes or miscues. The customer is always right, and when you do that to somebody with local connections, that is a recipe for a bad reputation.

You will not find fresher food than here. Breads are artisan and delicious. Staff is courteous and service is quick. A great place just below the mountain in Avon to be able to get lunch, breakfast, goodies.

The bread is good here and they really know what they’re doing, but maybe they should listen to people placing orders. A very sassy attendant served me chicken when I clearly said eggplant. Mistakes happen, I get it, but she didn’t admit her fault or apologize. Doesn’t seem like there’s much else in the area to eat, so make sure you’re clear with your order.

They make the best breakfast burrito. The chorizo is spicy and all the other vegetables are fresh and delicious. I grab one of their breakfast burritos at least once during all my ski trips to the Avon area. Highly recommended.

Fantastic for a fresh sandwich it takes a little while for your sandwich to come up but at least you know it’s fresh!

Hello $ 10 that’s much smaller than Jimmy John’s and far less tasty! We paid $ 32 for a fountain drink, water, small pasta salad, a bag of chips and 2 sandwiches. The dine in area is very small and claustrophobic and we had to bus our own table. There was no sauerkraut on the Reuben, but instead they subbed coleslaw. My husband, who complains about NOTHING, didn’t really care for his small, expensive sandwich and I threw half of my tuna away. It had next to no flavor. Also, the girl who took my order was a bit curt. For $ 32 for lunch, perhaps you could be at least a little friendly? I’d skip this place if I were you.

We stopped in here for sandwiches and soup because of all the great reviews. Overall, this place is okay and gets the job done. Roast beef was mediocre and the corn chowder was sub par. Wouldn’t go back but maybe we just picked bad items.

This is a very good spot to pop into for breakfast before skiing. I had the breakfast sandwich on a poppyseed bagel(versus the default: ciabatta). The bagel itself was extremely good but the whole deal was right on and just the perfect size for the slopes. The service was quick so we were able to get in and out of there in less than 20 minutes!

This place is amazing! I don’t think i’ve been in a bakery better than this! It’s seriously in a touristy area, with awesome prices and it’s organic/healthy/gluten free why would you not come here??? We came here twice on our vacation and it would have been three times but they were closed Thanksgiving day which is totally acceptable. They even left loaves of bread outside for people to take home because they were closed. I tried an almond chocolate chip scone and the garlic parmesan bagel with cream cheese… let me say this is the greatest bagel i’ve ever eaten and I wish I could have taken 20 home with me! Brandon had the same and he loved it equally as much! Totally worth stopping by to check it out! Awesome place!

This place is fantastic. Food is fresh, they’re willing to customize the menu, if they get something wrong, they apologize and make it right. Great restaurant, great business, great choice in Avon.
