I really love this place! The tri colored tortellini is amazing, their breakfast menu is small but yummy and their baked goods are my favorite. The only complaint is that the service isn’t awesome. They aren’t the warmest people and some of them have been working there for ages.

It were a European bakery if it actually had a meaningful selection of breads and pastries. I have to say the pastry I had was decent. the bread was downright awful. all they had was what they called baguette. this white bread was stale and flavorless, a waste of money essentially. you’ll find better at safeway. The might excel on their dishes and the three cakes they had. But this does not make a bakery. Looking for a variety of breads, a variety in general. there is Avon Bakery.

5 stars on pastries, 4 stars on two egg breakfast with bacon, and 3 stars on cappuccino, do to general brand coffee used. Place can also use some type of bell or door beep to let employees know a customer just walked in.

If you ever need a cake or sweets to take to a party or special occasion this is the place to go. Their homemade sweets are delicious, and you can’t go wrong. Their cakes are very special and definitely say you care. My favorite is the carrot cake. And it’s a secret little spot for a fantastic breakfast.

My Mom and I have been coming here for most of my life. Maggie and Rhonda are awesome. I love the tri-color tortellinis and for dessert a chocolate chip cookie. I can always count on consistency, friendly service, and delicious food. The raspberry muffins and quiche are amazing too. If you need to grab something to go for lunch or dinner it’s easy to order ahead or pick a sandwich from the deli counter.

The best bakery in the valley! We love their cakes and pastries, they are not too sweet and very flavorful. Awesome service, too! My favorite is the german chocolate cake, with coconut flakes.

Enjoyed a very nice lunch today at Columbine Bakery with my wife and a friend. The service was quick and very friendly. I had a very good cappuccino. For lunch I had the chicken florentine soup and house salad. My wife had the curry chicken and our friend had a sandwich. We all enjoyed our food very much. Along with our lunch they included a free desert from the bakery and today it was sponge cake roll with fruit preserves and chocolate. The dinner rolls they serve at the table were so good that we decided to take some home for breakfast the next morning. This place seems to get a lot of local and repeat business because most of the customers knew the staff by name and the staff also knew what the customers typically ordered. Would highly recommend stopping at Columbine Bakery for lunch. Next time we are in town I think we will stop by and try their breakfast.

We had a delicious and reasonably priced lunch at Columbine Bakery a couple of months ago. Dessert comes with lunch, but we were too full to eat it, so our server put our pastries in a bag to take home with us. The service was good also.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever from the owner of the bakery. She basically told me she didn’t want my business because I was too demanding. I expected the birthday torte that I ordered 2 days prior, to be ready when they said it would. She was shocked that I was upset that it wasn’t ready. She missed the entire point that if you say something will be ready at a certain time, it should be. Terrible food, terrible service. I am shocked that anyone says this place is consistent or delicious.

We stopped here twice during our visit to Colorado. The first stop was for baked goods only. Love the dinner rolls, croissants and the macaroons(crunchy on the outside, but moist and chewy on the inside). Second stop was for lunch. Sandwich was good. The Beef Bourguignon with Spaetzle lacked beef, but was good in flavor. As we were leaving, another patron was served the bourguignon and had a LOT of beef… so my assumption is my serving was the last of that batch. It was nice that lunch came with a complimentary pastry. The menu can be viewed here:

This place wasn’t that bad. Me and my sister went here when we were living up in the area and sometimes after school while waiting for our parents we would stop by and get some sandwiches or other baked goods, like cookies.

Excellent selection of pastries. Muffins were incredibly moist. Service was also very good. Didn’t eat enough to give them a 5, but everything looked very good.

If you need something sweet and you happen to be near this bakery in Avon, CO, I say give it a try. The kitchen closes at 3:00 for hot food, but I managed to get a cup of their smoked turkey and pinto bean soup which was quite tasty and had just the right amount of smokiness to be comforting on a day that the heavens decided to open up and pummel me with hail. Also tried a beef turnover which was your typical seasoned ground beef filled puff pastry. Well seasoned and again, some nice comfort food. Had a zucchini lemon cookie to top it off. It ended up being a light cake-like zucchini cookie with a lemon glaze that was a little too sour for my taste. Not a must try, but not something to pass over if a craving hits.

I never had quite the experience I had at this restaurant. I waited there for over 1 hour while they completely ignored me and would serve and greet everyone who came in after me. I would actually be standing there while the staff would look around me to sit the people behind me while trying to ignore me. I guess they don’ t serve my people at this racist restaurant. I would not be surprised if they had separate restrooms and water fountains at this place. Finally, my friend came in(who is white) and they gave him table right away. If not for that, I would probably still be waiting there. The table was filthy and the staff did not even get along with each other. I had a very bad feeling about this place and would not recommend it.

this is an authentic Swiss bakery with a very nice restaurant(lunch only). We’ve been going to Beaver Creek for 20 years. Amid all of the obnoxious high end restaurants, claiming to serve gourmet food, this place is my favorite. It’s unpretentious and wholesome good lunch food. you can go for a sandwich or for pasta dishes or a bowl of hot chili. The setting and décor may not be as fancy as the Ritz Carlton, but the food is just as good and the price far more reasonable. The bread and pastry products are fantastic.
