THEBEST bakery in Edwards! Everything is DELISH. I come here every time I’m in Edwards and will continue to come here! The owner of this place is usually sitting in it at a table but man does he know what he’s doing as a chef. The ham and cheese croissants are heaven in your mouth, great for breakfast! The sandwiches are all good, I’ve had the tuna, turkey and the Italian. There’s something about the bread and the cheese that make these extra yummy! Last but not least this place has giant chocolate chip sugar cookies! Get one! It will be the best cookie of your entire life!

Great chicken salad sandwiches, and fast. In Edwards by the fly fishing shop.

Good customer service, and the croissants are delicious, fresh, and flaky. I only give 4 stars though because the inside of the raspberry cheese croissant isn’t as filled with raspberry and cheese as I would have liked. They seemed to be going a little skimpy with it, but nevertheless the taste of the bread makes up for it.

For Edwards, it’s pretty good I guess. The croissants(in a place that advertises itself as French inspired!!) looked very dry and crusty, and I didn’t bother. I took an apple tart/galette, which for whatever reason they had labeled a turnover. That was pretty good when I finally had it a few hours later. I was looking for something quick for breakfast on the way back to Denver, but had to make do with coffee.(Dogs in the car; couldn’t wait around). The latte was also decent, but took kind of a long time even though no one else was in line then. The young woman at the counter seemed a little surly for whatever reason; one of the few times I questioned whether I wanted to tip. Minus one star for the extensive display case of religious art pablum, which really makes me not want to go back. Have been in plenty of places with religious stuff for sale; this display hit the trifecta of poor design, schlocky themes, and extensive supply. Sometimes when one seeks out the locals, one appreciates such places as Starbucks.

Breakfast ham and cheese croissants are delicious and perfect to pick up and go before skiing. Very basic sandwiches, but their soups are delicious! Also tried a chocolate mousse and a strawberry crème puff to take home; both awesome. If they could step up their sandwich game they could become an awesome spot for breakfast and lunch!

the pastries are so delicious! they taste fresh and the coffee is very hot and has a dark roast flavor. the prices are good. I am not amazed by the interior design. sometimes if you get a particular person older gentelman he is rough around the edges and comes off very different… but trust me the morning to go you get at this place is much better than star bucks.

An éclair so big you can split it in half and feed two! I’ve also tried the quiche and breakfast croissants on several occasions. The food is good, though I would recommend getting it earlier than later since items appear to sit out, get a bit soggy and lose a little flavor over the course of the day. I haven’t tried the coffee, since this place is right near The Bookworm of Edwards, where the coffee is amazing. Several reviews have rightly mentioned the owner, Michel, as friendly and very funny. Worth a visit, though I’d recommend playing to the shop’s strength by arriving early for a wider selection and fresher goods.

Stopped here for a treat on our long trek from California to Illinois. Ordered a cream puff and an almond cookie filled with chocolate mousse and dipped in chocolate. Both were AMAZING. Definitely stopping here when I make the trip back. Ill go out of my way if I have to. Its worth it.

Bonjour Bakery is such a lovely place! Michel, the owner, is very friendly and funny. We chatted about France — he still has an accent, to which he replied, «Excuse me, what accent?!» in the thickest French accent imaginable. :D We got chocolate croissants, ham and cheese croissants, cappuccinos, and then he threw in a loaf of his cinnamon-raisin holiday bread for free as we were leaving. Everything was wonderfully delicious and extremely reasonably priced, given Vail. We were actually stunned by the prices. If I’m ever in the area, I will definitely be stopping by! That cappuccino… mmmm!

We were desperately hungry as our first choice for lunch Asian Spice had closed or been renamed so we dropped in for a quick croissant to hold us over while we looked over our options. I got a chocolate and my husband got ham and cheese. Ugh! Nothing is worse than a disappointing pastry. They were heavy and flavorless and tasted more like a hybrid of a dinner roll. Avoid at all costs and drive over to Avon bakery.

Great little bakery in a place with some really lovely bread and cakes. Very decadent cakes and real honest to the craft; bread. Refreshing in a world of wonder bread loafs in every«deli and café»

I was in Edwards last weekend and headed back on Sunday to Denver. Before I hit the road, I was hungry and decided to go into town to find something to eat. Reading the Unilocal reviews, I decided to stop at Bonjour Bakery to sample their wares. As it was about noon, several of the savory pastries and quiches were already gone, which made sense. I asked about sandwiches and was shown to the refrigerator case, where there were pre-made sandwiches that are made every morning. I selected a turkey sandwich, but was disappointed. The bread was delicious however, but the sandwich was just basic. A crap ton of deli meat on it, a leaf of romaine lettuce and cheese on the bottom. The bakery has condiments, so I added some mustard, but I wasn’t bowled over. I also purchased a paper thin almond cookie to eat with my meal and took home an éclair-type pastry for later. The almond cookie was flavorless and the other pastry was disappointing. I don’t think I would go out of my way to come back here. Too many things just went wrong with this place for me. I was pretty disappointed, but life surely goes on.

Love the bread! Try the Chicken Salad sandwich and the Linzer Torte Cookies. I love the fruit tortes and the chocolate mousse. Can’t go wrong, easy in and out, great people too!

We have been buying the Paisan bread here for quite a few years, and having them ship to us. I was in today and bought other varieties for test. Good coffee menu. We like the breads here most. Thanks folks. Well done.

Paris-Brest in the shape of a horseshoe? You bet! We were looking for a local coffee place to stop by one lazy afternoon, and was guided to this cute spot. In the display window is this giant-size horseshoe-shape pastry that looked positively tantalizing(see pic), and I am glad to report that it tasted even better — a well executed Paris-Brest(choux pastry filled with chantilly cream) in the horseshoe shape!

Perfect spot for a bowl of soup and crusty roll. Had the chicken with dumplings with hot cocoa. Divinely tasting almond crisp cookies. Worth the stop.

Delicious sandwiches on yummy bread. We go here all the time for lunch when in Edwards. The owner is very friendly and usually there. They just moved to a bigger space, which makes for more comfortable dining.
