FYI the free beer thing(which we thought was so cool and a decision maker on where to eat) only works on «dinner entrees» which are basically only 5 ish items excluding 70% of the menu(like burgers, dinner salads, etc.) the server seemed very bothered we even asked about it! Also my tea & avocado were forgotten about and burgers over cooked :/had to ask for tea to be refilled…

Good bar food. They were out of French fries one time we went but otherwise, a good spot to fill up.

Always a good time! Good place for drinks after work, hockey games(cause that’s all I’ll watch), meeting up with friends or grabbing a quick bite. I’ve only frequented the bar area, but I continue to return almost weekly. There’s a dining room for more of a sit down dinner/breakfast style meal, but I simply enjoy the bar. Service from Russell and the gang is always great, friendly and quick. PBR paired with tots, potato skins, fried pickles or a cheesy pretzel… I don’t eat too healthy when I go, but that’s why I don’t go every day. Place is full of locals, regulars, visitors and people looking to just have a good time.

The service was great — very friendly waitress. There were many options available on the menu but none of the things we tried were exceptional. It was ok.

Great place to watch a football game. We stopped by on a Sunday to watch the Chicago Bears win a meaningless game. The bar area had all the games on about 20 tvs and he place was packed. There must have been groups of fans of 10 different teams seated all over the bar which made it really cool. People cheering and jeering all over the place. Prices are very reasonable and both food and drinks. Burgers are around $ 10 and beers were like $ 5. I highly recommend trying their Texas chili, it was delicious.(I even got some to go a few days later) Their thai chicken wrap was also very good. The only thing they can improve is their bloody mary, it wasn’t anything special. I’ll definitely stop by for a game again when visiting Beaver Creek.

Dropped here for a beer while waiting for a pizza around the corner… was greeted by the bartender(ski instructor by day)…served up a cold beer right out of the ice… balm for a ski wearied skier! The bartender checked on us and chatted about the day even with a very busy scene. Really good place for a beer and enough televisions geared for everyone to get what they wanted to see. Just felt good there. not rushed or crammed up, so your muscles simply relaxed and we’re ready for another beer.

Favorite sports bar/restaurant in the Vail Valley. Terrific service and plenty of daily specials on a great menu of food. I always get the inferno wings, I’m in love. Never have been for breakfast but dinner is the most important meal of the day anyway!

Great food and amazing staff(Russell & Lisa). Fast service and very welcoming to tourists. We showed up to watch the Army vs Navy game after finishing the last leg of our trip from SoCal to Beaver Creek. Great place to make our first stop in BC.

We ordered delivery thru a la car and the food was horrible. My daughter got the Diablo chicken and it was basically inedible. I had the fried chicken — it looked and tasted like the frozen kind from the supermarket. My son had the rotisserie chicken, it was the best option of the 3 but still nothing great. Perhaps eating in the restaurant the food is better quality but I don’t know because this was the only time I tried it. Don’t get delivery from them.

Another favorite watering hole. We love watching Packer games here or just meeting up with friends for a few(too many) pitchers and darts/foosball/pool. Staff is friendly, food is as good as any bar and the drinks are reasonably priced. $ 12 nachos are a hit!

Pub style interior, good food with accurate menu descriptions. Service was fast and friendly. It was a nice spot to relax in and warm up with a beer. Irish nachos were delicious.

The wings are the best and football fans! I am having a great time meeting folks from all over the country! I love the football season!

Other than being a bar the food is nothing to brag about. If it’s not fried(which is really hard to mess up) then I would stay away. The atmosphere is dark and the place has a dirty feel to it. Unless you are just looking for a crummy bar, stay away.

Updating, as Bob’s is still a great place in Avon for breakfast, lunch and drinks. Tots are now on the menu so not so much of a secret anymore, the wings are still the bomb(buffalo/grilled for the win), and the atmosphere is still friendly as ever. I have been a regular customer here for 7 years and will continue to be as long as I remain an Avon resident. Warning– its shoulder-to-shoulder for Broncos games!

I came here for the wings and I was very pleased! I passed by this place at first. It’s not easy to spot from the road but there was a sign that I noticed after passing it up. Parking was not a problem, which is nice! From the outside, it looks as though Bob’s Place is a tiny hole-in-the-wall joint, but its actually quite roomy on the inside. I considered sitting outside for my meal but since I was dining alone, I decided to take a seat at the bar. It was happy hour and they a wing deal going on… don’t remember the price but I know it was 9 wings vs. 12 on the dinner menu. The bar tender, Aaron was very nice. When I asked him about the wings he recommended I try them grilled, so that’s what I got. Although they had several interesting sauce choices, I went with the classic buffalo. The wings looked, smelled, and tasted great. They were cooked perfectly and sauced proportionally. I really enjoyed the extra crispiness that the grilling added to the wings. Bob’s Place has a lot more to offer on the menu than just wings, of course. If you are in the area and looking for a casual dining option at a very reasonable price, I recommend checking it out.

Eh. Stopped in after riding one day for some appetizers and beer. Service was prompt and friendly at 3:30 on Friday, but the food was pretty underwhelming. We had Bob’s nachos, loaded fries, and wings. The fries weren’t even salted. They were decent because anything smothered in cheese and bacon is edible, but nothing special. The nachos were just meh. Nothing to write home about. And the wings were low quality, dry wings only drizzled with sauce(not tossed or covered completely). Overall forgettable and uninspired food. ***UPDATE — Important to add that after posting this review, I received a very professional message and apology within 24 hours from the owner who truly received the constructive criticism and genuinely seemed interested in my feedback in order to improve the customer experience. I suggested a smaller menu that the kitchen could focus on knocking out of the park(like 10 – 12 memorable, badass dishes as opposed to 50+ mediocre ones), and not only did Bob take the feedback well but also sent me $ 40 Bob’s Bucks to give the restaurant a second try. Now THAT is how you grow and improve your business and get people to come back. I will definitely make a return visit and give this joint another shot, especially after the menu changes are made. Thank you Bob.

Went here for dinner last night after checking into the Westin. One of the bellhops recommended it as a great locals joint. If you’re looking for a greasy dive bar(which we definitely were okay with) this is the place to go. The burgers are big and the onion rings are greasy. My husband ordered the Diablo chicken and it was alright. He loved his Juan fries though! Definitely would order them again. Only one thing stunk, there seemed to be a ton of people working yet we could never get anyone’s attention. It just took awhile to find and/or talk to our server.

Went for breakfast with a group of 8. Was a good fit all around: price, taste & service. The group had a variety of different meals– burrito, breakfast special, country fried steak, and pancakes. Everyone liked their meal. The only downside is the location. It’s in the basement of a business center building
