Awesome shoe string fries! A bit pricey probably because it’s a ski town, but everyone enjoyed their food. Get the burger! The tacos were also tasty, one order comes with 3 tacos, no sides. Great atmosphere, very clean. They gave us a jug of water for the table, which I appreciate, since I tend to drink water faster than they can pour.

Wowza décor. Amazing Philly Cheese. Deck is beautiful. Really nice Mtn spot. Needs more microbrew on tap. Getting more flat screens for those rally days! GO BRONCOS! Can’t wait to come back in the summer!
Oh, then the chef runs out with the most heavenly butternut squash soup ever.

My $ 23.00 chicken parm consisted of a defrosted frozen chicken breast with the grill marks and a piece of cheese on top (not breaded) with a small side of mushy spaghetti. True story.

Awful. Don’t go here. Pretzel was fried. Seafood is frozen and reheated. You’re not allowed to have an opinion about fishy mussels that simply taste bad. I can’t remember the last time I had a server throw their arms up and call me dude because I didn’t want to eat their shellfish.

Start with the wings, Onion Soup, or the Tuna Crudo! Then move to any of the great variety of entrees, I like the pastas and gourmet pizzas, steak is spot on as well as the fish/shrimp tacos, we’ve had it all. Been here on many occasions and past chefs, Mike has brought his A Game to this menu! GM is always here making sure everything is going well! Love this place and the food. one of this families favorites! Catch some sports and the deck is great in the summer including the fire pit!

Middle of nowhere it feels like, but cute and simple atmosphere, quiet place with good food! I’ve been really shocked the few times I’ve been here. It was a few months back, but I remember the pasta being perfect in flavor and the appetizers being wonderful! This restaurant has changed over a few times, and as I’ve learned it changed chef’s recently, so that would explain my pleasant surprise in quality. Always weary of this place, I keep trying to remind myself to definitely go visit again soon!

Big disappointment! First waitress was super dry, no effort to be friendly and personable. We had a big group so we ended up getting stuck paying 20% for bad service. Food was not good at all, soups did not taste good, squash was pumpkin pie filling in a bowl, french soup was so so. Burgers were not on the evening menu but they were willing to allow us to order for dinner, pretty tasteless. No one really enjoyed their food, from buffalo wings, fish and chips dinner, fish tacos, meatloaf dinner, no one seemed satisfied with their food. BTW, crepes no longer on the menu so don’t expect that.

Food was mediocre. Mostly frozen bags reheated. Service was ok. Walling in the owner told my party about a 2 for 1 entrée special. When i received the bill i asked our waitress if it was already reflected on the tab and she advised none of the dishes we had ordered were a part of the special. When i approached the manager about the discount he told me to look out for the next sale and come back then…

Don’t waste your time or money. Advertised 2 for 1 off season pricing. Fish @ Chips fresh from the freezer, pizza was burnt and not made as stated on the menu, scallops were tiny and also fresh from the freezer. When billed came no 2 for 1 on items we had order, and not a word from our server, who had told us about the 2 for 1 special.
Take a pass on this place.

This used to be my go to place when I had guests in town looking for a casual place with good food. They had the best fish and chips I’ve had outside of the UK. Something has changed though. The last time I was there, the fish was completely different. It was much smaller portions, and the batter was lacking everything but grease. The bartender was yelling across to a table of ladies near us which really made for a less than relaxing atmosphere. Yes, it’s a bar and grill, but should the loudest, most obnoxious person there be one of the staff? Probably won’t be back soon if at all. Sad to see a decline in what was once a fave.

The food was pretty good, and the service was great. The place was cool inside so the food didn’t stay hot for long. If you’re not going out for a special occasion but want to eat out and have good food at a decent price, this is a good place to go. We got the ahi tuna, fish tacos and chipotle chicken pasta. The tuna was very good. It was prepared well with a nice sauce. The vegetables and rice were pretty plain but fine. The fish tacos were good but spicy. I wish they had mentioned the spice on the menu at least. The chicken pasta was also on the spicy side but appropriately spiced. We also got the brownie and ice cream which was very tasty. I thought the ice cream was a little hard and a bit small, but it was good overall.

Great food. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with fries. Breading on the chicken was phenomenal, along with the eloquently seasoned fries made the food very pleasurable.

Very disappointed. The server was not very knowledgable. I asked what they were «known for» — a recommendation. She pretty much looked at the menu and read off 5 items. Okay… never mind.
The apps we ordered were the gringo nachos (which were literally lays potato chips with bacon and cheese put in an oven) and the ahi tuna, which was little about 3oz of cubes of tuna that were not that tasty.
Finally, the entrée. This is why they aren’t getting a 1-star. The roasted chicken was savory and juicy, well cooked, good glaze and good portion. The food did take a good 20 minutes to come out, and we were one of only 2 tables in the house.
My other table members ordered the pot pie and said it was about that of a clam chowder, very disappointed. I wouldn’t come back, unless I had a recommendation that a person would put their name on.

Castle Peak has hit its stride, stop by… you won’t be disappointed! We launched the official burger tour of the Vail Valley in September — and after 2 visits, Castle Peak is our fave. Juicy, perfection made to order… but don’t panic if you don’t see it on the dinner menu. CP is one of those stealthy cool bars that has a burger you have to ask about… just like the secret way to order an In-N-Out burger, you won’t find on the menu. Very cool.
Happy hour at CP can’t be beat; great prices and great food. Don’t miss the wings, they are top notch! Oh, and the pizzas… terrific!
We’ve had 3 great experiences at CP — is officially on the to do list now. :)

Castle Peak Grille is a great establishment. The menu is ordinary enough to know what you are going to get but with a little twist.
Case in point:
–Korean BBQ wings… you have my attention!
–Duck confit shepherds pie
–Cod Romesco
