Where has this place been all my life!!! 1. It is gorgeous. I’m talking out of a Pinterest board, gorgeous. The salon is chic and rustic. Think white furniture, sparkly chandeliers, barn wood doors, mixed with sleek salon chairs and distressed stations, plus huge windows with tons of natural light to offset the glorious gray walls. I wish my house looked like this. 2. The have coffee and wine 3. The real reason you come here(as if the first two weren’t enough): the incredible, friendly, super talented staff. Most of these girls aren’t even taking new clients, that’s how good they are. I was so incredibly happy with my balayage color(ask for Zoe). They are really good at what they do, super on top of all the latest trends, and not afraid to do something fun and risky. They really listen to their clients and try their best to give you what you’re looking for whether it’s a basic cut, a natural highlight, or a crazy cut and color. I cannot wait to go back here as this is my official new salon. I expected prices to be astronomical and was pleasantly surprised when they seemed to be right on par, if not cheaper, than other salons in the area. You need to experience this for yourself!

Teazd salon is a great, warm friendly place. Filled with a professional group of hairstylist. A welcoming place in Avon, even if you are just walking in looking for an appointment. Someone will great you with a smile and offer you a drink while you await your appointment. The stylists all very talented in their own way. There’s something for everyone here! Curly hair specialist, trained color correction specialist. Kids cuts, men’s cut and color. You name it, Teazd has got you covered!

Im right in the middle on this salon. They were having a cancer benefit in May, there was to be food, raffle, you could get $ 20 pink«streaks» in your hair and I thought it would be fun for the girls.(mother pre approved of course). I had called and made an appointment in advance for the pink streaks for the girls. When we arrived, I wasn’t very confident at their organizational skills and we were the first ones there! They found Danielle who was to be their stylist for this. Well she sat girl #1 in the chair and Emma let her know where she wanted her pink. Danielle then realized that this was ALL the girls were getting she explained. kinda pissy that they were booked as a hair cut. Im thinking to myself, how is that my problem? I was specific when I booked what it was for. She was just flat out annoyed and then asked if she could basically pan at least one of the girls off on someone else, which I was fine with. What I was disappointed about was after 30 minutes,(she had applied color to Emma & Mikayla) she had another appointment and pretty much ignored the girls for the remainder, pushed them onto ANOTHER stylist to rinse them out, they were then forgotton for 30 minutes as they sat at the sink until someone discovered them! Really? I felt like Emma & Mikayla got lost in the shuffle. The other issue is that Danielle thought she had 3 girls for pink streaks AND cuts and she thought she would knock that out in 30 minutes before her appointment came in? Not only was the attention she paid to Emma & Mikayla insulting but the attention she was planning to give all 3 of them was even more so. Despite all of that. the end result was that all 3 received their pink streaks and they were happy. Emma loved the woman/daughter team that blew her out then gave her an updo. The older lady that took Maya had the thought to take Maya up front to get cookies, etc before she put her under the dryer. None of the other 2 were doted on or even acknowledged as they sat for 30 minutes. The experience itself was pretty disappointing, especially since this was their first time at a salon. They should have felt pampered and also been told the process, they had no idea what was going on. Other than that. I settled up with the front desk, no one asked how anything was or even asked if we would like to add a gratuity OR even mentioned the rafffle? They were too busy chatting it up with each other to give a damn. So we left, no tip, nothing and Ive never done that. I would have tipped the mother/daughter team and the older lady but getting the staff’s attention was more trouble than it was worth. All in all, the quality of work I have no issue with but their attention to detail and customer service, awful.
