i have had my hair cut several times at Supercuts– each time i was quite satisfied. i went the other evening and although the haircut was good the attitude was –to put it mildly– lousy… bad enough that i will not longer have my hair cut there. the young woman who cut my hair did a good cut BUT… she never asked if i wanted y hair washed, never asked it i wanted her to low it dry, never asked if i wanted any«products» put on my hair. i am quite aware that these things are extra — and i would have appreciated the offer– and would have had these things done. it is not her place to determine whether the customer can afford these services or not– but not to offer is a total turn off. needless to say i will no longer spend my money where i received poor quality attitude. i did notice that the customer following me DID get offered having her hair washed and DID have it done.

Came here today at around 3 pm. It was one of the only places open on a Sunday so props for that. The stylists were all friendly and service was quick and efficient. My haircut is nothing complicated so I was done in about 5 minutes! Pretty good.

I’m pretty easy going about where I get my hair cut. I don’t need a fancy place. At work, when I want to duck out at lunchtime to get a hair cut I go to Cost Cutters in Windsor. I was working from home today, so at lunchtime I ducked out to Supercuts in Avon. They are in a pretty nice plaza — with a Walmart, a Big Y, a Five Guys, and Chang An Chinese food. Plenty of pre or post haircut choices. I’ve been coming here for years and have had my hair cut by quite a few of their stylists. Never had a bad job. The salon is big and comfy, and if you call for an appt like I did today, there is no waiting. The stylists are cheerful and personable. Parking is a breeze, and for $ 15 I get a haircut I’m happy with.
