Love this place. Love the selection. It’s like a video game time machine. found the original Battlefront for Xbox. Good Lord what fun.

I have no idea why others are saying the employees are mean. Maybe this is the case for them (or maybe they got new workers), but I’ve been in this store many times, and the girl is always extremely nice and helpful to me.
I really appreciate this store because it always has «buy 1 get, one free» deal. Some games are slightly overpriced, but then there are games UNDER priced. And for the buy one, get one free, it’s really a great deal! I usually shop for Wii and PS2 games, and I always leave happy with my purchases. And, find some games here (Wii and PS2) that I can’t find in Gamestop locations.
Also, I like the overall look of the store (much more than the typical Gamestop stores). And even tho I don’t buy the retro games (N64 and older), I love just going in the backroom and taking a look at them.
Overall, this store is great and has a good selection of Retro games! I also got a coupon today with my purchase, 10% off your next purchase!

Okay, I now see what the other reviewers were saying! The guy that works in the store is rude and definitely annoying. But whenever I go, the girl is there, luckily. Besides that, I still do very much like this store.

I love this store. They have good deals on most things, but hey not everything can be the cheapest. I’ve gotten nothing, but great service from them. I had systems fixed a great price and when I had an issue with a system they trouble shot it with me for free. If you want something they will do the best to get it for you. They also are great people to just sit and chat with cause they are super nice and knowledgeable.

Worst gamestore kn long island. Owners are RUDE and will make you uncomfortable by giving you an attitude without you even talking to them. They sell NEW PRODUCTS over MSRP, and they sell used products 3, 4, and somtimes even 5 times OVER EBAY PRICES!
And god forbid you try and buy something they personally dont like. They will stalk trash about a product you are trying to buy right infront of your face. Making you feel ashamed to even consider buying something you like.

Owner has an attitude. Doesn’t care about his customers he has inexperienced people watching the store that cant handle transactions when he’s not there. He wouldn’t even take a minute to get on the phone to resolve a problem .his loss never go back there again he just lost three customers…

Why bash a good game store? The prices are retail (not much of a problem). They have both modern and classic consoles and games. Also, game murch. I can’t look at GameStop the same way. My only con, The older games that are desirable are not in the display case that are shown.

This place has a decent selection though it doesn’t seem to be updated/​restocked too often. For months I’ve found myself browsing the same games. There is just a lack of life in this place.
Also, I believe it’s family owned and operated. However, any interaction from the staff always seems forced. They seem disinterested — a strange attitude for a store selling nostalgic merchandise.
Lastly, the condition of the games leaves something to be desired. None of the older games seemed to be cleaned prior to being put out on the shelf — the Atari games are filthy. Other games aren’t even out to examine. There is only a plastic case with the title of the game. You don’t know the exact condition of what you’re getting until it’s pulled from the back I suppose. The «rarities» section is no different than any other retro video game store.
This place could be a good retro video game store but it has it’s obvious flaws. Looking at actual games will entice customers to buy items — not stand-​in cases with photocopied artwork. It’s not a bad store to browse through though. If you have a title in mind that might be a bit more obscure, maybe try giving them a call first.

Your employees were rude, and you treat people as if you are doing them a favor, let me inform you «taterheads» there are other places to go, like the store in Massapequa. You lost a good customer because of piss poor attitudes and service!
UPDATE– No I don’t work at the other store, and my kid did have a bad experience at another store, we decided to go to your place and it was okay, until you failed to honor the age old, THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT, you accused a 11 year old boy of tampering with the item he bought and didn’t work. Now I know that you get these «gameheads» who like to make mods and updates to their old games and controllers, this was not the case, it was the next day less than 24 hours. The item didn’t work and I suspect was on the shelf wrong or by a mistake, because it was faulty.
I’m not in your system because I didn’t do the buying, a kid who pays cash did.
As far as my bad reviews of other places, if you read some of my reviews I do give good ones to those who deserve it.
