Tried brunch today, our first time at One Main. The food was very good and the service excellent. I got the lobster Omelette and my wife had eggs with Sausage and pancakes. The good — the lobster omelette had bacon, smoked mozzarella, asparagus and corn. Really tasty but was disappointed to find almost no lobster in it. Wouldn’t mind paying the extra $ 3 if I had actually found more than one bite of lobster in it. The potatoes were awesome however! My wife’s dish was good, but would skip ordering a side of pancakes next time. They tasted straight out of the bisquick box, not very good. Love the interior and atmosphere, but the acoustics make it hard to have a conversation. I think we will be back to try lunch or dinner– a lot of potential here, they just need to step up the game on some of the details.

Visit Date: June 15, 2016 Came here with my friend Michelle for dinner. I hadn’t seen her in awhile and when she suggested one main I agreed because even though I live a few blocks away I never tried it. Right now they have karaōke nights on Wednesdays. That was great for me because I love karaōke and haven’t gotten to do it in awhile. So I actually got up to torture people with my rendition of copacabana. I say torture because karaōke is the only way I can sing in public, I sound like a tortured cat when I sing. For dinner I chose the gourmet mac n cheese and their pizza on special. I loved the mac n cheese but felt so so about the pizza. I would still come back here though. The gourmet mac n cheese consisted of different types of cheeses, scallions, and penne shaped pasta. The combination of flavor with the scallions & cheeses made for a very tasty and interesting mac n cheese dish. The pizza on special was okay it came with a white sauce and sun dried tomatoes. I wasn’t a fan of the crust but I did see other people eating pizzas that had different types of crust so maybe it was just this one. The staff was very nice, everyone was friendly & great. I think the chef did an amazing job with the food as well. She prepared a special dish for my friend Michelle that wasn’t off the menu and Michelle loved the dish. Overall I would eat here again and suggest dining here.

I want to rate this place better, but I just cant. The place seems so inexperienced. The waitress was very nice. The food was ok. $ 27 for a small piece of meat and a bunch of fries. The steak was good, but not med rare like I ordered. It was empty at 8pm an a Friday night. I really want to see this place improve. It did nothing wrong, but nothing was outstanding. I will definitely try it again.

One of the best spots on Babylon! The owner Lou comes out and makes you feel right at home. With a perfect combination of creative, delectable dishes, an excellent beer selection, and some of the best sangria I’ve ever had, this is the perfect place to finish off the day.

0 stars, had to do 1 to submit comment. Could not even eat here because the hostess said brunch was ending. Horrible business skills. We offered to eat at the bar but we were so turned off by the attitude that we left before she got permission. I don’t live on Long Island and I live in nyc, but if this was in nyc it would be closed in five seconds due to turning customers away. Embarrassing!

I’ve eaten here a few times and the food is great. There is live music tonight but because the place was not packed the music was a little too loud. I hope more people find this place because they won’t be disappointed !!!

Dined here again Friday night and were not disappointed. I enjoyed the flounder special, perfectly cooked on a bed of rice and spinach with a white wine sauce. My date enjoyed one of their fun and tasty pizza with spinach and cheese. That is large enough for two and a bargain at $ 15.00. She will be enjoying a great lunch today. The service is always good to great here. With one or more managers hovering not far away. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Nice beer selection too!

Edit — I just realized that it had been like 2 months since we were there so things may have changed to be fair, but this is my view of it. . I was excited to try brunch here, but I’m not sure if it’s that they don’t quite have brunch down yet since its kind of new or if they were just having a bad day in the kitchen, but my meal was yucky. I hardly ever say that about restaurant food … But I ordered an omelette that was clearly cooked on the hottest grill they could find. The eggs had the consistency of what you’d see in a bimibap or some other Asian dish — fried to death and overdone. I had asked for my bacon well done and I swear the waitress wrote down«well done potatoes» because the bacon came out limp and fatty and the potatoes came out looking like they had spent time over hot coals. Little lumps of black bits. Really can’t believe that someone would let a plate go out of the kitchen looking like that so there was either a run on potatoes or someone new who needs a bit more training. On a bright note, our drinks were yummy. I wanted to check it out for dinner but think we will pass.

Stopped in for Saturday night dinner with my husband and son. Our waitress(wish I remembered her name!) was amazing. Great service and cheerful demeanor with helpful recommendations. To start, we split a rich mac n cheese order with bacon, and the pulled chicken sliders. They also bring you a bread basket, served with the tastiest dip I’ve ever had: a blend of cream cheese, sour cream, spinach, and seasonings. Addictive! For entrees, we had the lobster ravioli, a smokehouse burger, and the honey barbecue chicken. Portions are HUGE, and the leftovers are even better the next day. Bonus: the bartender makes a wonderful Old Fashioned! We asked for it with Knob Creek and a little on the sweeter side — it was perfect!

Great place in the village. Came on the live music night Thursday, nice background for quant place like this. One guy with a guitar. Food was great. Free cheese and bread bites on the table when you come in. I had the pork, it was a little over cooked but nice taste. Asked for extra compote because the potion of meat was huge but not enough compote. Overall a good night. Nice spot for food before hitting the bars.

Had brunch here a few times and each time was great. The salmon benedict is amazing, they give a large portion of salmon. The nutella french toast is good too. I want to have brunch here more to try the other french toast options and pancakes too!

I sooo wanted to like this place. But let it be known I want to give 5 stars to our waitress Sam, she was awesome! Sam was attentive without hovering. She even took the time to ask the kitchen if my boy Stevie could go off menu & get steak & eggs. So Sam gets 5 stars hands down. Now the meal was off to a great start with the Mixed Berry Mimosas. Fruity & refreshing. I opted for the Breakfast Burger, which was just a Bacon Cheeseburger with Egg over medium… on a barely toasted English Muffin?! Where’s my bun? And I ordered it medium rare, it was done. My over medium egg was fried, no run to the yolk whatsoever. My boy Stevie’s steak, ordered also medium rare. No Bueno. For $ 26 it was a disappointment. It was dry & done. I didn’t taste it so I won’t comment on the flavor. The potatoes were dry & flavorless. I’m sorry I didn’t have the experience others have had. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. Maybe I came on the wrong day. I really don’t know. I would come back for the bar, but not the food. 2-13-2016

What a nice little spot. They have FANTASTIC brunch here. So creative and flavorful. Their coffee is great especially with amaretto. Not to liquor-y. Good service. Price is very reasonable. Definitely my new brunch spot. Our server was Marcelo. He was great

This place is really coming up… I feel like whatever is on this corner has a hard time staying here but I hope this place is here to stay… I’ve been here numerous times and recently a lot more since two friends of mine started bartending… It has a nice, cozy and intimate feel to it. You can hang by the bar or sit in the bar area at one of the high top tables or if you’d prefer, they have a dining area where you can sit for dinner… I haven’t done that yet but would love to try their brunch! I’m hearing good things about it and I love brunch, so I’m in… Had their triple j pizza the other night, if you love buffalo chicken and bleu cheese… This pizza is for you. It was bigger than expected and had some really awesome flavors. Shared it amongst two people but think you would be able to with more depending on the other dishes you order … $$, good for a date, pre/post game Babylon trotting around, dinner or hanging for the night

I DONTGIVE5’s OUT, but I had to because the service(Leeann) and excellent food I had the chance to enjoy was a surprise to stumble upon. Great place. Food and service was amazing. Leeann our server was polite and helpful with the menu. We ordered Tia calamari and wings for an appetizer, ribeye steak and stuffed rigatoni for dinner. Everything was amazing. We originally were headed to the Argyle but the wait was to long. We are very glad to have passed by One main and give it a try. You should as well!

BESTBRUNCH I’ve had! Four of us couldn’t decide on the menus so we ordered a good amount of dishes. The special pancakes were oreo pancakes, which were great. We also had the stuffed French toast, polish omelette, sweet potato pancakes, eggs benedict, and Chesapeake benedict. Everything was amazing(my favorite was the Chesapeake benedict), especially the home fries. I can’t wait to go back!

I am the pickiest breakfast eater. That being said, I had an amazing breakfast here and even enjoyed all of my fiancés food as well. I got three perfectly scrambled eggs(more like 5 eggs!) with no brown or anything and they weren’t wet. Bagel was toasted nice. The included order of bacon was only two smaller pieces, but I ordered a side for $ 3 and it was like a half pound of delicious bacon! If you want more bacon, get a side and enjoy heaven. My fiancée had a lobster omelette and the large chunks of lobster had an amazing flavor. I wanna go back for dinner with seafood. Friendly staff, not stuffy, delicious Bloody Mary’s with cocktail shrimp and not too much horseradish. Right on. Prices were cheaper than any local diner too.

Don’t understand why this restaurant has such a low rating! I’ve only been here once for brunch but it was great. My friend and I came here for Sunday morning brunch last weekend. We made a reservation on Open Table for 10:30. When we got there it was pretty empty but it started to fill up about an hour after we were there. Friendly staff. I ordered the raspberry graham cracker french toast with chocolate drizzle. It was delicious. However i don’t know where the graham cracker part came in since I didn’t taste any. Prices are reasonable. They gave me maple syrup on the side but it didn’t jive with the flavors on my plate so I enjoyed it as is. Just my PITA opinion lolll. I definitely enjoyed the food and would go back.

It saddens me that this place has low reviews because I have never had a bad experience here, and have been coming since their soft opening(which was a little rough, but not surprising). I will saw however, my rating is really for their brunch, and nothing else. I have only been for lunch once(soft opening), dinner once, and late night drinks and apps once. I have been to brunch many times. Good craft beer selection. Nice, relaxing atmosphere. For dinner, food is good, but overpriced. All the servers are very friendly and knowledgeable though. They are also very helpful in suggesting food and drinks. It is, however, my favorite local place for brunch — decent prices for good quality food, and good service. Every Sat & Sun. They recently just increased the price of mimosa’s — from $ 3 to $ 4 — which I have watched them make the RIGHTWAY(mostly champagne with just a splash of OJ) but they also add a splash of some clear liquor as well. The shrimp cocktail bloody mary was large, beautiful, and served with a jumbo shrimp at $ 8. The lobster omelette is usually my go-to meal, it’s only $ 13 with large chunks of lobster. I’ve never had the pancakes, but they do change with seasonal ingredients(i.e. pumpkin, apple, etc). The eggs benedict is also great, with a salmon option. My goal is to try the nutella french toast next.
