Pulled in late. Wouldn’t take my company card. Got in the room and the floors were filthy! Toilet had not been scrubbed and something sticky on the carpet! Then woke up at seven because maids want to argue outside of room! Bed and towels were fresh! Not impressed! Service and cleanliness could have been better.

If I could give no stars I would. I personally haven’t stayed at this hotel but I received the worst customer service over the phone! My card was fraudulently charged about two weeks ago and this hotel was listed on my statement(I live in AZ). So I called to get some information regarding the charge. The man who answered the phone was so rude and told me it was my fault that my card was used and basically it couldn’t have happened because they check everyone’s ID. Sure buddy, I bet you do. What could’ve been just a simple call turned into a horrible experience! However, I did take care of the incident through my card company. If I did need to stay at a hotel/motel I will not choose this one or any others within the U.S. Be aware of fraud!!!

I didn’t have a problem with the people at the front desk at all. It is family owned and the bald man everyone is commenting about smiled at me. The woman working(maybe a daughter) was very nice. I just didn’t have a problem at all. They have video cameras all over the building exterior and parking lots and they watch it too! No people loitering outside or partying it up on the inside. I know I have neighbors all around. I don’t hear them at all. It’s a bed, clean linens, nice bathroom, fridge, microwave and TV. Its older and dated. Is what it is. If you want to save some money just stay here. I was apprehensive after the other reviews but its not that bad people’s!!! Worth the money. $ 50 per night.

Clean & inexpensive rooms but HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE customer service. I called prior to my stay to ensure a room, the gentleman that I spoke with on the phone immediately responded with a «no» and said«do online or call tomorrow 10AM» very rudely & in a thick accent. That should have been my first REDFLAG… I mean who does that!!! I didn’t want to stay at the Motel 6 across the street although I was tempted after that phone call. I called the next day at 10 am as I was told… unfortunately, I got the same older gentleman on the phone. I decided to reserve online and just go. I got there early Saturday morning(3 am) asked the front desk lady if I was going to be charged one night or two for checking out Sunday before 11 am, she advised me that I would only be charged 1 night. That same morning at 11AM I was told(very rudely) by the older bald man I had to check out and check back in if i wanted to stay until Sunday and I would get charged another night’s stay. He kept saying«Why you come at 3AM? Why you do that?» I tried explaining but ended up getting into a loud argument with the older bald man. I explained I was told otherwise about the nights stay but was very rudely spoken to. He started speaking in a different language as I’m sure he was cursing me out to his family as I was standing RIGHT In front of him! He then called a younger man who spoke better english but was also VERY rude. WORSTCUSTOMERSERVICE I HAVEEVER experienced. You’d think a family owned business such as this one would have a better morale and would care for their customers a little better but I was definitely proven otherwise. My intention was not to stay free for another night I simply wanted to explain the misunderstanding and see if we could get a better rate since I was misinformed. I ended up paying the extra night, for the simple fact that I was already running LATE and I didn’t want to go through the hassle of moving all my stuff as I looked for another hotel. I decided I’d avoid those two jerks and go on with my stay. Later that day I asked for an iron, after questioning me several times about there NOT being one in my room, they finally brought one and instructed me to return to the front desk when I finished. I did as I was told, the next day I asked for the iron again and was YELLED at for not returning the iron… when I surely did! ASIDE, from the HORRIBLE(& I am NOT exaggerating) customer service, the room I stayed in was decent. Had a king bed, fridge, TV, clean restroom & bedroom w/wifi. Initially, I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room for the price & area. I guess you do get what you pay for since the customer service was so terrible. I would NEVER stay here again! I’d rather stay at the Motel 6 across the street.

Issues I had was with the older bald man… seems to be the owner, very rude at check in and rude through out my stay, I also encountered roaches crawling around the electronics, towels were stained and very old looking.

Very helpful and nice employees; seems family managed. Great pool and little jacuzzi – really pretty indoor area. Super affordable(had a king bed for $ 60 including tax!). Nice bathroom, clean bedroom. Great area if you are heading to Kernville too, it’s on the east side of Bakersfield. Awesome little breakfast place right down the road called Tomi’s Cowgirl Café that has full southern breakfast!!!
