Food is great and very tasty. Always have what I like. Garlic chicken is my favorite. But the chair today was not very friendly made me feel like we’re a bother for coming in to get food.

Ok so this place surprised me. Super friendly staff working. Also the prices were very nice! Ok so the food! I got the Kunpao chicken which was very good and fresh, even my wife who is a big fan of this dish at expensive restaurants liked it. Also got chow mien which was pretty good and broccoli beef which was pretty good, fresh brocoli. I would recommend when going here to observe what looks fresh and pick that, even if its it your normal. Try a little adventure in your life!

Our family eats at Bamboo Café fairly often, and it’s always a favorite. You can’t beat the food for the price. My favorites are the salt and pepper fish, garlic chicken, mushroom chicken, and butter shrimp. My husband loves the orange chicken, but I prefer mine spicier. My kids are all about the sweet and sour chicken(some of the best I’ve ever had). The employees are always friendly, and I’m usually in and out quickly, even when I have to wait for an entrée to be made. This is definitely our go-to for Chinese take out.

Came in for a quick bite to eat middle of the day I was disappointed to see they discontinued the salt and pepper fish and now substituted for some candy coated sugar dripping shrimp I ordered a small single item combo and heads of mushroom chicken added sad to say nope labor at all to the chicken or the mushroom this used to be a good spot for a quick bite but it looks like the quality has gone down some everybody was very friendly the quantity of food is good and the price is fair so if you want a quick fix are not concerned about the best quality of food this is a place to go to but if you’re looking for something with more flavor go someplace else

Something isn’t right about the food here. I was hesitant to stay, and my gut told me to leave. I stayed. I have a feeling my gut is gonna get revenge on me for it later. If you’re looking to get full on a budget, this is your spot if quality isn’t a priority. Good luck.

Food was good. Not the best but not the worst, either. You get your moneys worth. For $ 5.25 you get a honking combo. I would eat there again. The steaK and broc was good and so was the mushroom chicken. Chow mein needed a little more salt but nothing a little soy sauce couldn’t fix.

It used be really good but today I did not like it. The quality of food has gone down. I was craving for their food today so I came all the way and that is it. Not coming again. Service is always good.

We ordered take-out by phone not knowing what a fast food type place it was where you can just walk in and pick your own from the behind the glass buffet. We were asked to come pick up our food within 15 min, we gave them 30 min and our food was still not ready. Service very friendly however and the selection was decent. Not plentiful but decent. The food tasted ok also. I liked the look of the fried rice a lot better than the rice we got, even though it was said to be cooked right away to order. Just the color. I thought the side dish containers you could get were great. For $ 1.75 you could try many things and pick a fave. I would be back for the service and convenience. Price was good too. Would not be my first choice for Chinese food nor would I bring anyone here if I wanted or needed to impress. Update.. Tried a year or so later… service still friendly. Food. meh. The rice is just so bland! The beef and broccoli is. ok. The beef is a bit weird in texture. Decent value though for a bowl just over $ 4 in price. I could not even eat half of it. Not rushing back. but my fortune cookie did wish me a beautiful day :)

This should not be classified as Chinese food… I’m pretty sure the Chinese would be offended by it. Perhaps we came at a bad time but wow… disgusting to say the least… none of our 3 girls liked anything on their plates and they LOVE Chinese… I was excited to get the bbq’d pork since Panda doesn’t offer it anymore… sadly it was the best thing on the plate… haven’t been this disappointed with food in a long time.

If you show up on a good day, like a really good day, you might be lucky enough to get fresh food. Its been a hit or miss for me the last several times. I avoid trying to come here too early or too late because the food isn’t fresh during those times. I usually get their combo 2: chow mein or fried rice with 2 sides for around 6 dollars, not too shabby. I only come here when I’m extremely lazy to get anything else and is okay with eating anything. There’s nothing I really like here to recommend anything. I normally get their chow mein(soggy most of the time), garlic chicken, and beef(way too thick and chewy, I end up not eating it and regret getting it every time).

This is the first time we have tried bamboo café. It was 5 mins til closing and they still graciously welcomed us in. I had the orange chicken and BBQ pork with chow mein. My bf had orange chicken and chicken teriyaki with fried rice. The orange chicken was amazing with real orange and very flavorful. The BBQ pork was very good, and not as much fatty pieces as other chains. The chow mein was excellent as was the fried rice. Large scoops of each item and heaping sides for 2 all for under $ 12 how can you go wrong?! We will definitely be back

One lunch large veggies, sweet and sour soup and steamed rice 9.88 reasonable little busy conveniently located. The cashier was nice but the server behind food cart horrible with glasses. I asked for food for here and she brought it in to go boxes. I went upto her to ask for plate and she said we charge a dollar for the plate I said how bout to go box and she said we charge for that too. What so everyone sitting here are having food in plate and you expect food to be eaten in the house full box. She is PATTY.

Great food for the price! Quick and easy! Also… They give you huge portions! Two can share on box!

Wish they offered healthier options like plain steamed veggies or brown rice. Food was okay. sriracha gave it more flavor.

Poor customer service! We have enjoyed this place for several years, being our favorite out in this area, but my husband had a bad experience and asked me to post it here. Never having been a problem before, he asked for more chicken than vegetables on his kung pao chicken and they refused. We found it odd since there are all chicken dishes with no vegetables. We would pay the same price for those dishes? Anyway, the server was rude and not accommodating. He walked out & we won’t be back. They just lost loyal customers.

I used to think this was a good place to eat, until I had to wait over 20 mins for food, and clean my own table just to have a place to sit and eat, girls behind the counter seem really LOST and the cook seems to have forgot how to make food! The food is pretty decent, the orange chicken is really red chicken the serving portions are okay this is a decent value for your money.

This isn’t a bad place at all. There are times when fast Chinese food is the best ever, and this place makes a good quick selection. Just remember, this is fast food. If you want more traditional Chinese food, go to a regualar restaurant. If you want good quick food for lunch or if you are in a hurry, go here. The staff is very good too, very outgoing and polite. They seemed very organized and they don’t let food run out. The price was very reasonable too. It was around $ 7 for a two-item combo that came with chow mein and a fountain drink. The portions were large enough for me to save the leftovers for lunch the next day.

I like the place. I think it’s a better option, and tastes better than Panda Express, China Bistro, and other similar restaurants. It’s parking area can get a little crowded during peak times. A few times, it’s taken me awhile to get out of the parking area cause of the traffic. The staff has been mostly polite, quick, and efficient. They could do a better job of keeping the restaurant clean though. The tables are not wiped down all too often. My favorite entrees are the Orange Chicken and the Shrimp with Vegetables. Several times, we have ordered these two entrees as party trays. We’ll serve them at home for family and friends. The prices are fair, and their servings are generous! Give them a try and decide for yourself.

The food quality was sub-standard, but with the price it’s reasonable. The location is conveniently located along the strip mall, but the food isn’t enticing enough for repeat business.

The food is good, filling and is reasonably priced. The location right, next to the Coffee Road exit of the Wal-Mart parking lot on Rosedale provides for easy access! Nothing to go crazy over but decent solid food.
