Been here twice in the past. Both times, I was not impressed. Dropped by today to see if the 3rd time would be the charm. No such luck because Fresh Donuts was No longer there. Just an empty shop beside Quiznos. Looks like they fell victim to Krispy Kreme or maybe they just moved.

Went around 4pm with the kids. The donuts were not fresh and the chocolate was the worst I have ever had. The lady behind the counter tried to pressure me to buy a dozen. She asked me over five times to upgrade to a dozen and complained when I declined. We purchased four donuts and were very disappointed. Straight to the trash the went. They should forget about the donuts and just stick to the boba drinks.

I was underwhelmed by the Thai tea I ordered. It cost four bucks, even. The taste of the drink was fine, but the already small cup was filled at least 75% with ice — so not much room for actual liquid. Also, the boba itself I found to be kind of soggy in texture. Very poor quality compared to other places I’ve been to outside of Kern County. Haven’t tried the donuts. Service was fast. They have 3 minute parking outside, which I’ve never seen before.

Not a fancy place but their donuts are consistently crunchy which I enjoy very much, as the selection for other donut shops around the area just don’t make the cut. Old fashioned glaze and Apple Fritter are adequately glazed and crunchy! Mmhmm!

I’m picky about my donuts, but this place is awesome! I come first thing in the morning(8AM) and the donuts are always so fresh. They are usually still warm and always soft. They always melt in my mouth. This is definitely my go-to donut spot in Bakersfield. Mmmmmm… donuts.

Came here to try it out and wasn’t overly impressed. I just ordered some cake donuts and found them to be dry. Not sure if they are always like this, or if it was just an off day. I may try it again just to be sure.

Was in town for the weekend and it was HOT so I wanted a cold boba drink. I wasn’t hopeful but after searching on Unilocal I found a place that was close to my in-laws house and headed over. Worst boba drink ever. The boba were old and hard and had no taste. The only reason I am giving this place 2 stars is that the service was super nice and I do respect them at least trying to bring boba to a place like Bakersfield.

Amazing coconut boba, although it was a little pricey. I would definitley go back.

this store does have fresh doughnuts and there are just as good as anything else in this town how ever what doesn’t impress the is the hourmaybe its just me and my untimely craving for doughnuts but i am used to a doughnuts store being open 24 hours some night and early mornings i stop by and the place is closed. very nice employees how ever so for that i would recommend if you catch them when there open stop by and grab a bite

I get donuts from here often and have yet to have a bad experience. The apple fritter is my favorite of their vast variety. I can also say that they truly mean«fresh» because I have walked in at 10pm to find fresh donuts being pulled and glazed.

The donuts weren’t fresh at all. That first bite in, it was dry to the point of crumbling. Granted I did buy the doughnuts late in the afternoon, but that just means that they shouldn’t sell stale ones!

The name doesn’t lie! These donuts were certainly fresh! However, it says on Unilocal that they close at 12:30 and that’s a lie because I bought donuts there after 4 in the afternoon and the bakery case was still full of yummy donuts. I stop at donut shops A LOT. My excuse, which is true but still an excuse, is that the middle school student I tutor likes donuts. Specifically he likes chocolate frosted bars, so periodically I like to surprise him with a donut. He has already written his own first Unilocal review(of a Gamestop) and he loves to help me decide what to say about each place I review. Don’t worry, I always get myself a donut too so that I can review it honestly. We both liked the donuts here, and he seemed particularly enthralled with the chocolate frosting at this location. I also saw posters for the dragonfly smoothie drinks that my mom likes and iced coffee fru-fru drinks, too! The gentleman who waited on me was very personable, so much so that I didn’t take offense when he tried to upsell me a drink to go with my donuts. It might have worked, too, if I hadn’t already bought a drink at Starbucks less than 5 minutes before.
