Starbucks

Love the uplifting attitudes of all the baristas! Always so good and my drink is a tough one, but they will remake if you have an issue!

This is a great location. Staff is friendly and they always have great music!
Coffee is great.
And that long table in the corner can be tricky. It has 10 chairs to it. What if only 6 people are sitting at it? I like to cozy up and act like neighbors! I might not know your name but it helps get our faces out of our phones and talk. Like people used to.

My favorite Starbucks in town. The staff here is always friendly, it’s clean and even when the line backs up during busy times it will quickly turn around in no time.

On these cold rainy days and no voice all I want is a hot crème brulee. I recommend when your cold drive right over and get warm with a starbucks

I try not to post reviews on places that are chain businesses since they’re usually so identical. But there are those few differences between each location that can create a better experience.
Came here this morning to grab some coffee and one of the differences here is how compact the parking lot is directly in front of this location. It’s located in a shopping center but their main parking is to the side. When parking and reversing the spaces are pretty tight so it creates congestion beyond any measure. And when you mix that with incompetent drivers it creates a bad experience and possibly coffee being spilt.
The service here is quite fast and you don’t notice the few minutes for your drink. Now this is another difference that helps create the experience better. Quick service makes customers happy and willing to return even when people are lined up because they know the turnaround is excellent.
Starbucks is okay to me but I’m not really a coffee drinker but when I do decide to stop here I do like the seasonal drinks and today I tried the Chestnut Praline Latte and it was good. Not too sweet and that means a lot because I’m not someone who goes for that flavor profile but at the same time I cannot stand something too bitter, good enough blend!

As Starbucks’s go, this is one. I was asked what size cup I wanted my double espresso in which I found odd. But other than that, it was a standard ‘Bucks experience.

I frequent this Starbucks more than I should admit to. Their customer service is outstanding! Diane and team are always friendly, efficient and make a great coffee drink. The last time I was in there, I got a caramel frap and of course I had many special details to how I like it made. She took my order with a smile and the barista made it perfectly! It was one of those drinks you never want it to end! Keep up the great work!

This is my very favorite Starbucks. I reviewed another store thinking that it was this one. I feel that manager, Diane, and the staff at this store deserve a great review for me, because they do such a great job every day.
This place is clean, fast, accurate, and friendly. The baristas are patient and accommodating. My 5 year old makes her own orders and the staff are very sweet to her. At this location, they get to know you and are thoughtful about your needs. They treat me like a friend.
I love the old school way of doing things and the small town feel, even in a big town. This store greets you like a neighbor and treats you like a friend. The customer is valued here.
Quality is number one at this store. The drinks come well prepared and quickly. Coffee bar is well stocked at all times. It is just a great place to sit for a while with friends and greet folks you know While meeting folks you don’t. You’ll find me here just about every weekday. I invite you to come say hi, grab your favorite drink, and chat for a while.

I don’t know that there is ever anything good or bad to say about a Starbucks location. This one doesn’t have a drive thru, so that is kind of annoying. It is clean with a small dining room. On the plus side, it has outdoor seating that looks very inviting. They ran out of the item I wanted today and frustrated me when it came time to pay my bill; there was some confusion about a gift card that I had purchased through Groupon, but when I whipped out my gold card, the cashier still neglected to let me pay for another minute or two. Thankfully, their barista was quick and I was out of there very soon after paying. I wouldn’t hesitate to stop by here again were I to be in the neighborhood. At the same time, I won’t be going out of my way to get here.

This is a very convenient hop off of Coffee and Stockdale Hwy. there was adequate parking available and staffed with quite a few baristas. The wait time was less than 4 minutes. I wasn’t aware that refills for my iced coffee were only .50 cents! Now onto the really cool stuff!
As I said wait time was less than 4 minutes. The baristas were very nice and efficient. I wasn’t quite sure what to order, so the barista recommended the Peppermint Iced Coffee. It was a treat! I wouldn’t imagine Peppermint and coffee pair together, but I assure you! those two flavors are an awesome marriage! I think it’s my new coffee choice. I’ve only been to this location a handful of times and it’s never very crowded when I go so that may make a difference on how I rated them.
They are friendly, quick, and make my drink correctly each time. I am not too picky on my drinks and usually get something simple but even simple things can get messed up.
The parking here however is awful. The small area in front of them has maybe 12 spaces and one or two handicap spaces and they share that with two other businesses, otherwise you park kinda far away.
I look forward to visiting this location again when I’m in the area.

I used to live by this Starbucks and still come here periodically. The cashiers and Batista’s are usually pretty nice. There have been times I can count on two hands where they just very unfriendly. And also, the employee asked me to leave the patio seating 5 mins BEFORE closing.

I only rate it a four our of five because the parking lot is tied to several shops and the amount of spaces are limited. I was complimented on my politeness during the transaction process, and I received my drink exactly the way I ordered and in a small amount of time.

They always get our order right but it seems that even in the evening hours, the service is slower than molasses. Friendly counter service though.
No drive thru. Too bad. I should not have to stand there waiting at the counter for 15 min for a small uncomplicated latte. Either they are short staffed in there or like to take their sweet time!

Apparently I’m the only one who has had a bad experience here. I’ve been to this Starbucks a couple of times and twice I have ordered their ham & Swiss for breakfast and each time they have forgotten my sandwich. On top of that I always have to wait a lengthy time, but it’s the only Starbucks on my way to school in the morning so I guess I have to deal with it.

I like the location of this Starbucks. It’s on the way to CSUB and the employees are friendly.
One time as I was getting in line and I saw this happened. Some guy ordered a tall coffee, but freaked out when he saw how small it really was, so the barista offered him a larger size on the house, which was sweet of her. I’m sure he’ll be back.
Its always packed in the morning when people are getting their coffee fix before work, so come early or else you might not find parking near the facility.

This is far and away the best Starbucks in town. Great Manager. Great Employees. Great Service. I always regret going to any other Starbucks location in town.

Love this Starbucks. The employees are friendly, professional, and actually seem like they enjoy their jobs. They make my drink well and consistently.
The location is small but quaint. I like smaller coffee shops. It makes the giant corporation of Starbucks seem like more of a neighborhood coffee shop.
If you need to go out of your way and choose this location, I promise you will not be disappointed.

Best Starbucks in Bakersfield… period. Staff is always friendly, fast and professional. And of course they are the most consistent Starbucks I’ve visited :)

I am a Starbucks fan and gold card holder, and this is one of the stores I frequent most in Bakersfield. The staff is always friendly, yet professional. You have to remember that most of us are coming here for our morning (or midday or evening) caffeine fix. We are prone to be — shall we say — not at our most pleasant until we’ve gotten it. I find it makes a HUGE difference when I am greeting with a smile and a cheery voice, as I am here, as opposed to standing and waiting to be served while the employees visit with each other and ignore you (I won’t say which location that was-​at least not in this review)
There is both inside and outside seating, though this time of year the outside seating is mostly enjoyed in the early morning hours before noon. My favorite place to sit is in one of the two big comfy seats in the corner near the coffee table. Free wi-​fi is a plus, too.
What I like about this particular Starbucks is that they are very consistent with the quality control on their drinks. I have never had a burned shot here. (I have had this problem consistently at other locations in town-​shame on you Valley Plaza tore) And the tea tastes as if it has actually been shaken up correctly.
