Allergies suck. Bakersfield air sucks. Combine the two and you’ve got a recipe for the sinus infection of your life. It’s always surprised me that there’s not more allergists in Bakersfield. With the terrible air and allergens around it seems like a gold mine of opportunity for these specialists. Dr. Leung has been around for decades. In fact, I was a patient of his about 25 years ago. The office on 18th street is in the same location, and probably has the same office furniture, as it did two and half decades ago. It’s not fancy. It’s a little dated, and a bit clinic feeling. But I didn’t have to wait much longer than 15 minutes to see the doctor. And it was easy breezy super quick going from there. Dr. Leung was fast and efficient. Something this busy body always appreciates. Some people might not like this and want more bedside rapport, but I’m not hear to make friends. Fix me, and fix me fast! I’ll be returning for the skin test and will report back then!

My almost 2 yr old son saw Dr. Leung this past Monday bc his allergy number was 204 which is very high. Also my son has asthma. His pediatrician referred my son to him to find out what all our son is allergenic too. I felt Dr. Leung was very nice, looked over all my sons health history, asked a lot of good questions, and wanted my son to come back in to do a skin test to find out what all he is allergic too. However, the staff I didn’t find all that friendly. Or at least the one lady that took care of us at the counter. She talked very fast, and was quick, and didn’t seem nice. Maybe she was just having a bad day. But other then that I felt very good about the place. Love the location. Excited for dr Leung to find out the answers we have been wandering for months!
