Lowe’s

We went to Lowes today and was treated horribly by the cashier. I was told after my card would not work did I make a payment. I told her I don’t need to make a payment on my card that as a zero balance. I have been having problems with my card for months and normally they enter the number manually and all is well. She didn’t ask for my ID until she had to enter the card number. With identity theft on the rise she was suppose to ask for it before my card was even swiped. I was so embarrassed that she would insinuate I don’t pay my bills. She was not helpful and she seemed irritated to go the extra mile. If this is the type of customer service that they were going to have I will take my business elsewhere.

I was at this store 2 days ago. There were only 2 cashier lines open at opposite ends of the store. The line I was in had 12 people waiting. The cashier never called for help and the ‘manager’ is guess ALBINO was just walking around the cashiers never offering to get help. I finally asked the girl… can you call for help? She just shrugged her shoulders as Albino kept cruising by. This store needs more help!!!

Waited over 30 minutes in the flooring department. The intercom continuously asked for help in flooring. We asked the guy in front of us how long he had been waiting. He said close to an hour. That’s when I decided to leave. I’ll take my money somewhere else.

Honestly, I think that Lowe’s and Home Depot are interchangeable. Maybe it’s because I am not much of a handyman. Seems like the quality of the products are the same. Prices are the same. They are both large.
Bottom line, this Lowe’s is a good store to go for your home needs. Oh yeah, the service that I received here is better than the other Lowe’s locations in town and the Home Depots. 3.5 stars overall.

Great deals on appliances, delivery was great. First one was damaged, they replaced it the next day. Awesome place to go for appliances, as they match competitor’s prices

What can I say? It’s Lowe’s. You go to Lowes to get what you need. Sometimes you get someone that’s extremely helpful, sometimes you get a loser. As far as I know, I’ll help myself.

The only negative is that the entrance to the parking lot is terrible and on weekends there is a bunch of dummy’s trying to sling animals to people. A mgr name John Lee is fabulous! Over the past 3 years my wife and I have dropped over $ 40 grand at this store while renovating our home, mainly because of John Lee and their customer service. The prices are decent, even with Walmart next door, the customer services and cleanliness far out ways going to a retailer like Walmart. We had one issue with an order of wood siding, which was rectified by Jon Lee. If it weren’t for John Lee and the outstanding customer service of him and the rest of the staff (other than one guy who tried to screw us and rip us of on the siding we ordered) we would have took our purchases somewhere else. Now we don’t even hesitate to hit Lowe’s for other things. Over all the prices are good, the products are good, and the customer service has been outstanding. They have good deals if you look for them and sometimes you can find discount coupons. We purchased our cabinets, flooring, Jiquizzi bath tub, water heater, lighting, siding, paint, roofing, electrical, plumbing, trim, windows and doors, dishwasher, stove, microwave, and all the in between items at this store. The only thing we bought from another vendor was our carpet, simply because what the wife wanted had to be order at Lowe’s and was in stock for a little bit beater price at a local vendor (of course they did a terrible job with the install). Now we’ve moved on to the landscaping of our property and it is only this Lowe’s that we go to. Also, there is a gentleman that worked the electrical section, I don’t recall his name though he was an older gentleman, but he was extremely knowledgeable and super friendly.

I feel like this place is my second home. Staff are incredibly helpful. I love that I can ask and not feel like I’m bothering the associate (which is more than I can say for Home Depot). Competative pricing and good variety in products and choices.

I have bought most of my power tools and supplies from this store. I love that they give me the 10% discount with military ID. Store is always kept clean. Not all the employees are knowledgeable. If they don’t know a certain answer to something, they’ll guide you to someone who does.
I kinda like that it’s located to a Walmart… because when the lady is dragging me to go help her with her shopping, I could usually make up an excuse and say I need to come to Lowe’s for something, only to avoid entering Walmart.

The worst part about this store is that its located next to a nasty Walmart. I’ve been coming here since it opened since its the closest hardware store to me. Staff has always been helpful and polite. Most of the time the people work in specific departments because those are the products they know. One thing I dislike is that they have tons of cash registers but always have only one or two open. Good luck trying to get out of the parking lot the design is horrid and the Walmart customers never wanna let you out. I suggest exiting through the east exit not Colony street.

The Garden Center is pretty well stocked.

If you know exactly what you are looking for, it is a great place to go. Unfortunately the staff is not all that educated on any of their products. Every time I have a question it appears I cycle through their entire workforce before I get some half-​hearted answer. But the prices are cheap, and hiring kids helps keep those prices cheap.
