Sonic Drive-In Restaurant

Disgusting! Never again will I go here. My sister and I went for half priced milkshakes after 8 and I found a piece of a rubber glove in my drink.

This location has really gone down hill! It used to be a good location but over the last year or so it has turned to crap. We just went by to get a master blast and a peanut butter fudge shake. We waited for over 20 minutes in a car stall.. . REALLY! my blast was nothing more than a little thicker than my wife’s shake. The board in the stall said it was 3.99 for a medium and my wife’s shake was 2.49 by the way, was supposed to be half off after 8pm. When the attendant finally showed up I asked him about the price of 7.83 and he said we got the half off but the blast was full price. I said OK but it doesn’t add up to the pricing on the board. He said kinda rudely that the pricing had changed and that the board was not updated yet. I told him it was wrong to do that and that it was false advertisement. The car hop guy just shrugged his shoulders like to say oh well and gave me the look like.. . Are you going to take these or what.
I told him I have already waited over 20 minutes and I was going to take it but it was bull shit and this would be the LAST time we come here!
We will drive across town if we have to before going back there. What a waste!

It’s really slow here. We waited almost 20 minutes to order, and longer for food to come. Used to love Coneys and tots, but this time, they seemed slapped together. Tots were greasy and soft. Dogs were slathered in ketchup to the point we had to wipe some off to keep from wearing it home.
Won’t be back.

I grew up with Sonic but they are a rare find in in this are. Love the cony dog. Hate the new burger bun though.

The service and food at this location is horrible… I have given them several chances and they always disappoint. The place looks pretty filthy too. Take the drive to the White lane location.

Service is the slowest I’ve had in years. I’ve been coming here for years, and never any more than a 5 min wait… Been waiting almost 20+ min, in parking stall for food. And drive threw, just keeps coming n going. Really? 2 corn dog kids meals and an order of popcorn chicken? WTF

Today they decided to clean their ice cream machine at 10 am. (It’s 95 degrees right now) The card machines don’t work most of the time. Today, My husband ordered a grilled chicken wrap and the gave him crispy. Management here is sub-​par. The staff is ok. Slow service generally. Overall, this location is almost OK… Definitely not great…

This is the WORST Sonic i have ever been to! Me and my son just went and got 3 half priced shakes… but what we got were ½ priced flavored milk. my sons shake was COMPLETELY melted, my daughters (or what i was told was hers) was just about melted, and mine. i don’t even think they gave me the right one. Not to mention, we were not given and STRAWS or SPOONS… I was so disappointed. My son used his money that he made today, to treat us to shakes. Once I got home and called to speak to the manger, but i got a RUDE lady named Angie (at least that’s what she told me), i then asked her what the name of the GM is, and when she would be in. I then asked the name if the cashier. «Angie» was so rude that i told her she did not have to have an attitude, and she goes on the say «i don’t have one» and then hangs up on me. Needless to say, i am NEVER GOING BACK TO THE TAFT HWY LOCATION. I will drive out of my way to the WHITE LN location. If i could give a NEGATIVE STAR i would! So if you want SHAKES, don’t go to this one… UNLESS you want flavored MILK!

Love the new service! Fast and fresh food! Perfect place to hang out with friends and just kick it!

My sister in law and I went a little after 8pm to get their half priced shakes, because based on my experience at the white ln location, I really wanna do it again. So I did, but at this location, let me tell you I was really disappointed.
First, they misunderstood large fries to large sprite, and then with our orders of basically 5 cups of shakes, they didnt even bring out a cup holder so my sister in law had to hold hers while I drive. Lastly, the server just basically eyeballed our orders to see what they were, and handed it out like she knew for sure so when we got home with our shakes (I even wrote down the flavors on the cup when the server handed it to me one by one) and OF COURSE she was wrong and I gave them wrong cups to the wrong people.

Slow Service… Why are you walking to me… and where are your rollerskates?
I guess I’m spoiled by the other Sonic’s I’ve been to. Why don’t these people wear rollerskates? Plus they walk real slow. I had to wait here for a good 15 minutes (that’s a long time in fast-​food world) to get my order and it didn’t even taste fresh or piping hot. And I had to keep walking back to their little corner shack every two minutes to ask for things that should’ve already been included, like napkins… then straws… then ketchup… Come on man get with the program!!!
Add a star for happy hour slushes but that’s about it! Must be the recession or due to budget cuts.

How could you not love Sonic? It’s the best!!! This location was a little out of the way from the freeway, but was a welcome sight for lunch. The staff was a bit on the loopy side, but all was well.

I luv their chicago dogs. Especially their happy hour deals!!!

The best in the west. I go here at least 2x times a week. The slush combos Are the best.

This SONIC was in the middle of nowhere, smelled like cow poop and had flies flying around. We decided to eat in the car.
The food was kind of bland. The slushies were good. The only thing we thought was kind of cool was the choices on the menu. Other than that I’d rather have In-​N-​Out.

The food was delicious but there were flies EVERYWHERE. Like at least 30. Make sure you eat inside your car for this place.
