Starbucks

This Starbucks is the worse, the drive thru is always backed out onto olive drive, it’s impossible to exit their parking lot to get to the freeway (on Knudsen & Olive.) The drinks are never right, yesterday was my last visit.

Starbuck’s at Olive & Knudsend — 5210 Olive Drive, Bakersfield, CA 93 308‑3064, 661−399−4090. *** A big shout out to the tall, thin, blonde, young guy (with some facial hair — a nicely trimmed beard and mustache) who works drive through during the week, from early evening to closing, on the Olive Dr. He’s always so upbeat and cheerful! His enthusiasm and pleasant demeanor is one of the reasons I enjoy going to this Starbuck’s location! Next time, I’ll get his name and post a new review! The last time I was in this location, while he was working the closing shift, was on Tues. ⁵⁄₃₁.***

Drive is really slow I don’t understand its coffee. Most Starbucks run very smooth. I just don’t understand why…

Great, clean Starbucks right off the freeway. Fast service, lots of available yummies. Our new pit stop. Clean men/​women restrooms. Also has a drive thru.

I am not one to review often, but I had to this tine because the service was that remarkably terrible. I wasn’t surprised they only had ²⁄₅ stars total as its ran by a clan of seeming teenagers that think they are chic for flaunting a brand name apron. Never again, I would never recommend this place to anyone. I’ll keep it local at dangys forvever now.

Well, after 3 hours at the mall looking for a perfect birthday present for my 17 yr old, we decided to stop and get double chocolate chip fraps — 4 of them. We get home and guess what? They had coffee in them. I like coffee, but you don’t give a frap with coffee in it to a 13 year old. Really never ever have I gotten a bad drink here, but this time we did and I wasn’t going to turn around and go back.
Ugh.
Waste of money this time.

I love this location. I usually go through the drive through but I finally got to study for a bit inside. It was not too packed and had more space than expected. I also think the reason for that is that there are no schools surrounded.
The drive through is what seems to be the most busy part at any time. It’s right off the freeway so case proven.
The staff both inside and drive through are sweethearts. Well atleast to my luck :)

This is the most convenient Starbucks on my drive to work yet I rarely go unless I’m heading into the office late. The parking lot is horrible often blocking traffic on Knudsen and the drive thru exiting into Olive Dr is impossible to get back on the freeway.
That said they always do a good job with the drinks and if it’s not between 7 & 9 is a generally pleasant experience.

LOVE THIS STORE! Everyone is friendly and accommodating. I’ve been to many stores where the some of the staff make you feel like an inconvenience, but not this store! There is one closer to my home, but I will go to this on instead!

Super convenient… Right by the on ramp to the 99 and close to Milt’s. The drive thru is busy, even at 10:00 pm when you’d think that folks wouldn’t be partaking in caffeinated beverages. I don’t mind waiting. It’s cold outside! And I can check my emails and see what my Unilocal friends are up to …
The people who work here are super helpful. I explained what I wanted (green tea) and in great and helpful detail the differences were presented. I LOVE their Taverna green mint hot tea! It smells lovely and now get that each time I go to Starbucks…
I wish they had unsweetened almond milk in addition to soy milk like Whole Foods Or I might consider going back to café lattes.
The dark chocolate almonds are expensive but heavenly.
One of the smartest things I did last month was buy one of those tumblers for myself (and a friend at work who goes to star bucks everyday before work) that allows you to get a free beverage everyday in the month of January! With this Starbucks closer to my place, and another close to work I will easily be able to take advantage of this special wonderful deal that will allow me to try different drinks that I ordinarily would not…
The tumbler is awesome … It keeps a hot drink very hot, but the outside remains cool and you don’t need one of those cardboard sleeves …

I went through the drive thru last night around 6PM. WOW! It took almost a half-​hour to get through that line. I’ll never go to this location again because of that experience. Their drinks and food are simply not worth that kind of time, and that’s without consideration to their prices.
I can say that I got what I ordered, but that’s the only positive I took from last night’s experience.

See check. Worst Starbucks I have been to. Slow, dirty and unfriendly. Needs new management. Truly a Yuck store.

They refused to make my signature drink, black coffee blended hot with butter. I’m not coming back and I’m telling all my paleo cross fit people to avoid this one.

Went to this Starbucks and it had clean restroom. Good choice of food and quick service 5 stars for me will be going back.

IMO this is the best Starbucks in Bakersfield. They have yet to get my order wrong– knock on wood– and they are always very friendly and quick. It’s in a good location, as long as it isn’t rush hour!

And they do not charge water as a custom tea, it’s charged as water with pump of peppermint for 50 cents …

Finally remodeled this location and I went inside and couldn’t really see what the difference was? Only that I drove out of my way to use this location and it was closed for remodeling… Grrrr.
Otherwise I can’t say I’ve ever had a burnt shot here or had a rude Barrista. The line in the drive thru is never too bad but this parking lot can be tricky to get out of due to the busy intersection it sets on. BEWARE
This particular visit I ordered a iced Carmel macchiato with whole milk and they made it just right. Very perfectly made and it hit the spot. Not a long wait I went inside, I try not to use drive thrus, helps with those calories. The store was clean and as I said I really didn’t notice a difference inside for the remodeling job.

Very friendly staff at this location working very hard. Ghetto parking lot sucks, the drive thru is awkward, and the location of the street is also awkward. The make up for it with great service and excellent beverages. I’ve had the least problems with this place giving me a wrong drink or poorly made drink. Sometimes the drive thru gets long, but I think that is usually because of the customers. All in all its a convenient off the freeway sbux with awesome service.

This is my favorite Starbucks in town. The drinks are always made perfectly and the staff is incredibly friendly.

Pass through drive-​thru, and I was greeted by a very energetic Wyatt. Very creative in his order-​taking. He recommended a Hot S’mores latte with chocolate. Delish! Thanks for the great service.
