The salsa is bomb! I ordered a molcajete mixto and… it was perfect! My husband ordered camarones ahogados and they were bomb everything except the service was good. the service SUCKED!

One of the best kept secrets around! Homemade tortillas to scoop up some of the best chili Verde around! Sundays are always packed out which has to say something :) I’m glad we found this neighborhood favorite

BEST tongue tacos EVER! Their micheladas are so good & only $ 5. The shrimp wrapped in bacon with immitation crab is also DELICIOUS!

We love this place! My parents live in Bakersfield and we almost always have breakfast or lunch here, when we visit. The Handmade tortillas are the best, food is always tasty, and authentic. The cherry on top is that serve there is very good and the staff is super friendly.

I do not have a negative thing to say about this place. I saw it from the road and it looked to be right up my alley for what I wanted for lunch… even though it is technically in the ghetto on S Union Ave.
Large parking lot at the rear.
I was warmly welcomed and sat where I wanted to. The restaurant was extremely clean (even the restrooms)
I had a wonderful, personable server and was shown the menu. It was quite extensive.
I ordered two tacos (1 shrimp and really wanted to try a chile verde, pork) and a Corona. I got free chips with homemade salsa, lots of lime included.
I was pretty pleased that my bill was under $ 9.
I was raving about this place all day.
I read the other reviews later for this restaurant and I can say I did not see a single fly during my visit.

The food was good, ordered tacos. The place was clean including the restrooms. The place was a bit too warm and they need a better AC ASAP. There were a few flies around and that was a turn off. The biggest negative at the restaurant was the loud, live, inappropriate, corrido music.

Has to be the worse experience ever! Came to eat with my family after church & half way through my plate I find a fried FLY.!! Smh don’t come here
