Amazing spot to hang out and get all of your nerdy fixes. Eric, Jared and Shane are good people to talk to and chill with. If you like comics, cards and collectibles, make sure you come here and empty your wallet, just like I do.

I love The Gaming Spot for a few reasons. First, they are knowledgable, friendly, and treat my 11 year old son with kindness and professionalism of an adult consumer. Second, they flat accommodate. I asked for particular items to be ordered and they came through on time and in a hurry. I asked for a game night where I can come in with a table top game and invite there customers to join my son and I. They made it happen. Third, they know what comic book titles to order and are growing in selection every week. And Last but not least they provide free bags and boards for the comics I purchase. Not to sound totally bias, but I do have one major criticism. The parking situation is down right impossible. Not too much The Gaming Spot can do to control that but on the plus side they are making every effort. So all in all I’d say The Gaming Spot is definitely worth your business. I truly hope they succeed.

Decided to check this place out since Leeters has closed and I need a new place to get my comics. I won’t be going back. It’s located in an industrial area, so parking is virtually nonexistent. And so is their comic selection. Very bare bones, looks like it was thrown in as an after thought. It was pretty disappointing, considering that it looks like it’s trying to be a similar type of store as Leeters with games, collectibles, etc. Also, their customer service is weak. It looked like a big bro fest in there, with nobody interested in actually working.

Just found this recently opened local gem. It’s exciting to have a comic book store on the northwest side of town. They carry comic books, graphic novels, collectibles, magic cards, and artwork by local artists.
They offer FREE DELIVERY on all prepaid orders of $ 20 or over. And they’ll special order ya anything they don’t have in stock.
This place has a lot of potential. They’re working on expanding the back area for tabletop games, etc. Also check out their weekly episodes on YouTube (

Also don’t forget to look up while you’re there. They have a beautifully geeky ceiling mural with superheroes and sci-​fi favorites.
