Service is TERRIBLE for the drive-thru. Fries are never hot. Ordered chili dogs with no cheese and they put cheese on them. Chili cheese fries are delicious, that’s the only good thing about this place. I have been coming to this location for years and they never have good service.

Surprisingly good food! Consistently great service! Over the past few years, i have occasionally stopped to eat here(usually drive thru). It amazes me how friendly the service is. And they always get my order correct. Today Ree Ree took my order, was super friendly and did a great job. Thanks. So refreshing to see young people take pride in their work and have such great attitudes!

When I think about Wienerschnitzel, there’s a lot of nostalgia that comes with my thoughts, especially reminiscing about it from my childhood. Growing up, Wienerschnitzel was only a drive thru. If there’s was seating, it was always outside. This Wienerschnitzel is completely different because it actually has pretty decent seating inside! I believe the owners are Christians because I hear their advertisements on Christian radio stations and when you walk in, you can immediately hear the Christian music playing. This is definitely a positive for us! The employees are always friendly and our order is always right. They accept coupons without hesitation and the service is always quick. The facility is usually always clean. There has been times where we’ve gone and a restroom is out of service. But, things happen. Now, about the food… we aren’t snobs when it comes to food. We try to eat very healthy, but going to fast food every once is a while is no big deal. I usually order a chili dog and fries. With my boys and husband, it depends on their mood, but usually chili dogs, corn dogs, mini corn dogs, and fries. I LOVE their chili dogs. I don’t know why, but I do. I especially like soaking up the chili with my fries. And, I think they have some of the best fries ever. Don’t ask me why! Occasionally, I’ll have a corn dog. They are super yummy, too! The best part of the corn dog is the crispy part at the bottom of the dog and the stick. YUM! When we do go to Wienerschnitzel, this is the location we choose and we like it!

I’ve been eating here for several years once every few months. They have an entirely new staff, so this may be time for a new review. And they finally fixed the huge potholes in their parking area. It made it really difficult to park my motorcycle. Service was friendly, but very slow. I ordered a hot fudge sundae(they’re also a Tastee Freeze). The hot fudge wasn’t hot. The cook had a lot of trouble getting it out of the bottle because it was too thick to squeeze out. Consequently, I got maybe a tablespoon of cold fudge. Very disappointing.

Okay, it is a wienershnitzel. You are probably aware that the service and food are okay, if you are in the mood for hot dogs and french fries embellished with cheese, onions, ketchup, and mustard. From my experiences this one generally takes quite a while to serve their food, but the service I’ve experienced was normally friendly. This time, the cashier was very polite and patient. I was attending a strength competition to observe and walked here to get a hot dog(I know). I ordered the«junkyard», which was topped with chili, mustard, and french fries. It hit the spot, kinda, was cheap, kinda, and satisfied me, kinda. I feel really bad for adding to the pool of average reciews of this place but it’s definitely not that bad, if you are hungry and only have a few dollars. Customer service is nice and the food is good if you are craving it.

Well I can not believe for asking for mustard and ketchup and ordering the 10 hotdogs for 10.99 would be this hard. I was in the empty drive thru and the manager Armando called me a punta(bitch in Spanish). I ordered 3 chili dogs 5 corn dogs and three plain dogs and they said I can not order that. So I had to change my order to one chili dog two hotdogs and two corn dogs. When I got to the window it was a total of 11.86 I asked for a lot of mustard and ketchup and Armando the manager called me a punta(bitch in Spanish) so as I’m trying to call the store back once I got home he hung up on me and my father 3 times and then turned off the store phone. I can not believe how horrible this service was. On top of that our food was cold. And I was the only car in the drive thru for 10 minutes.

I have to give credit where credit is due. If you are like me you want food that tastes good, for a reasonable price, most of the time depending on your cravings, at a reasonable distance from your residence. Well this place should be higher than a 2 ½ star because it is what it is a cheap hot dog joint. This place isn’t supposed to be fancy, they are paid to fill your face holes with delicious, not good for you food. Their chilli is real chili even though it probably comes from a bag and it covers deliciously salty fries with any topping you want. Their dogs are steamed and covered however you want as well. They have Pepsi products(Yeah Mountain Dew) which is a must with their variety, even though I am typically a Coke guy. We usually get a variety of stuff at this location because my wife loves chili cheese fries and of course I do too, if you haven’t seen my fit and chiseled figure lately. The kids of course only ever want a regular dog with mustard or ketchup. So if your planning on giving a fast food restaurant a review please, which I know for some is a fopaux, please don’t skip on the truth, but unless there is a hair in your food or it is somehow not cooked right I don’t see how places as good=bad for you as Weinerschnitzel then this place shouldnt get a bad wrap.

what happened to the best wienerschnitzel in town? i’ll tell you… it sold… and the new owners fired everyone that worked there and couldn’t even give them 60, 30, 15, or even o week notice. he fired all. way to go wienerschnitzel, i’m sure the 39 families that you effected will be sure to spend there money at anyone of your stores… worst fast food corporation there is… they just care about the money… that’s really sad.

Horrible fly infestation. My gosh this place is fulllllll of flys! The management may want to invest in some sort of fly eliminator. Also the music is real loud and the choice of music is for the younger crowd.

just ordering a corndog takes them a good twenty minutes to make… and it was just me and two other people in front of me… this is ridiculous. also, one of the workers claimed to be on her break and she would yell across the room and inform her coworkers that she was on break.

First time here. I had an original mustard dog and also ordered was a pastrami dog. We enjoyed them both. Service was quick and super polite. I have a pile of coupons for this place that keep coming in the mail but of course we went by on the one day I left them in our other vehicle! Keep that in mind to watch for the coupons in your mailbox every couple of weeks or so! Any time I see this restaurant, I usually see a big line of cars in the drive-thru so that has to say something about the success of this place. Prices are right. I saw a sign out front too that corn dog happy hour for 50 cents is between 2−4pm weekdays. Next time I will try the Angus wiener as opposed to the original and spend the extra cash. I may have one hot dog in a year’s time so it has to be a good one! I like to hear the snap of a good dog and this one tasted more of a store bought wiener, more of the boiled variety. BUT, the bun was the best part. Nice and warm, steamed. Will return. Would add another star if they sold pretzels on the side but you can only a pretzel bun if you order a specific pastrami dog. Kinda odd for a German place where yummy pretzels are like their own food group in that culture.

This isssss ain’t the one. «Best in Bakersfield». Haha. Looks like fries was refried hot several times. Took forever for the chiliized pup. An Employee had face in uncovered sewer drain by dog stove too. I swear. Chili dog had odd flavor. Like enhanced with kitchup. Odd for a D W???

There is a serious problem with the flies at this dining establishment! They are everywhere. You swat them when you walk through the door, swat them at the ordering area, then at the drink area and the entire time you’re eating. This is just unsanitary. Meanwhile, the manager sits in the dining area watching, staring and laughing at the customers who come in the door. It’s not funny bucko. Your food is crap, service is down the toilet and you need to evict the flies. GROSS.

The flies are really bad in this place. I was in there last night dining in and the chili dogs were OK, but the flies were just so annoying, will probably go to drive thru next time. Should have listened to my dining companion, she did not want to go in due to a prior negative experience with flies and dirty tables. Management seems to be asleep at the wheel, there is nothing wrong with this location that some effort and guidance would not cure.

I went back a few times to this location to see if they could make things right. .. wrong!!! The corndogs were cooked all the way through this time but the fries are HORRIBLE. The staff loves to sit outside and smoke and talk on their phones. This is unprofessional as well. I doubt they wash their hands after smoking either. I won’t go back here again. Especially after reading about the girl throwing up out the back door. .. DISGUSTING!!!

I been here a lot of times. I have been here once. The food was great the fries had salt on them and the big thick girthy polish sausage did the trick in my mouth. I liked it. I drive up to the window but I also can walk inside the place. When you walk inside they got people in there. You can order sundeas or creamies or even bat finger roadies. I liked it. I will go here from now on every day. Please go to here. Will you please go to here, I work here and I want to get a bonus so please go to here(Me) plese come to Me’s place on coffee rd I will be very nice you can be my customer

Confession of a closet junk food junkie: My affinity for Wienerschnitzel is one of my deepest, darkest, and most intimate and embarrassing secrets. I only go once or twice a year. I almost feel like I need to go in disguise, maybe a trench coat, an Irish tweed hat slung low over my brow, and dark glasses. On second thought, any self-respecting foodie I ran into there would have a lot of explaining to do themselves. My favorite menu item at Wienerschnitzel is the chili cheese fries. They start with a very generous helping of thinly sliced french fries. Over this they generously ladle chili and then add a layer of grated cheese which forms a solid blanket covering.(no processed cheese goo used — yay!) I tried the chili cheese fries burrito once. I can’t say the tortilla added anything flavor or texture wise, but it did make it easier to eat in the car. When I do, on the rarest of occasions, indulge in a «dog», the polish sandwich is my cholesterol bomb of choice. I like my dogs spicy. It’s been a long time since I’ve ordered anything else(years) but I do seem to have fond memories of the pretzel bun. So, remember if you«think» you see me there, I won’t tell if you won’t tell!
