Taco Bell

Typical Taco Bell. We stopped here to grab some food for my son after an appointment. Used the drive-​thru and was worried about the longer line of cars waiting. I thought it would take a long time, but it really didn’t. Once I reached the window, the employee was very friendly, quick, and efficient. Our order was correct and hot; just what we needed. The only problem with this Taco Bell is that it is a little cumbersome to get in and out of especially during their busier time and when the traffic is heavier.

Sent an employee of mine to pick up some food and she came out with nothing but shock and embarrassment. When she handed the cashier her money, a $ 10 bill, the cashier was questioning the validity of the bill. The, so called manager, came to check out the bill and right away tells my employee, the bill is fake, it’s a counterfeit. She then proceeds to tell my employee that she is going to call the police. Since when is a retail establishment authorized to tell their customers they are going to call the police over a «suspected» counterfeit bill? NEVER. Brandy or something to that effect was it’s name. Very rude and totally embarrassed my employee in front of other customers. I am also taking this to their corporate office. Uncalled for and very unprofessional. Never will I go there. Not a very bright future for this $ 10 manager.

Dear Taco Bell,
Why must you disappoint me so? After a long night of drinking and poor decisions I would like to be able to drown my sorrows in the food I actually ordered. But it wasn’t there.
It’s never there.
I realize I ask quite a lot from you. Intoxication does that to me. But that doesn’t allow you to be so cruel as to withhold my chicken quesadilla.
I thought with your new shiny building and fancy ordering machine you had changed. But old habits die hard.
I’ve returned to you time and time again, and always am left with shame and guilt. No more, dearest Taco Bell! No more late night rendezvous under the gleam of your bell. As much as I hate to say goodbye to your big bean burrito, it must be done.
Good bye Taco Bell.

OMG… Run, Run fast and Run FAR!!! This is the sorriest, slowest, crapiest and even Racist Taco Bell you will ever encounter… Here is just one of the adventures I had there… It’s about 10p… I pull into their drive threw witch has about 20 cars in it, but I was starving and lived right down the road… It takes me 45 mins to get to the window to pay and get my food… As I wait after I pay, the cashier (African American) opens the window, I figure he is going to hand me my food, He then leans out the window and starts pointing to a guy riding a bike in the next parking lot… I then see he is also talking to one of his co-​workers (Another African American Gentlemen) and starts to yell at the guy on the bike «Get out of here you crazy ass, white-​boy cracker»… They booth then just kinda look at me in my truck, start laughing and slam the window… I was Flabbergasted!!! I could not believe that employees of a restaurant I was spending money at just Race carded a guy… (BTW, I am Caucasian as well)… I just kind of sat there in shock for about another 5 mins until they handed me my food and I drove home… After I got there I called the manager to inform them what had happened, I had the cashiers name and time I went though (Thanks to the receipt) and when I reported this I got a manager who was kinda like «OK, well thanks for letting me know. Have a nice day sir»… Then pretty much just hung up on me… And this is just one of the MANY horror stories I have about this place… I no longer live near there, but I pass by it all the time on the way to work… But there is NO WAY I WILL EVER SPEND ANOTHER CENT in that place…

FYI, I’m not a pro. I’m just a regular guy who loves to eat. I started Unilocaling so that I may help others find delicious places to eat.
I don’t review fast food places regularly. I feel everyone pretty much knows what to expect when they go to a fast food place. However, I decided to review this place because I came here twice in one day and have visited this location multiple times. Every time I’ve come I have been presented with hot and fresh food.
I ordered two double decker tacos and a chalupa beef supreme (both visits today), and the food was hot and fresh each time. The beef was steamy hot, the taco shells were crunchy, and the sour cream was fresh.
The interior is very clean and organized. The bathrooms are very clean and modern. I remember I would stop here often to use the restroom when I drove a lot for work. Definitely clean facilities.
The girl at the drive thru is friendly.

Appreciate getting my order completely wrong. What can you expect from fast food though.

I give this Taco Bell 4 stars because it’s pretty nice, clean, and friendly service. We came here today because I heard that Taco Bell came out with a new innovative «Cap’n Crunch Delight» = mini donut with Cap’n Crunch cereal toppings. It’s only being piloted here in Bakersfield at the moment, and if it’s popular enough, it’ll get spread across the country to other Taco Bells. haha…
Apparently, Bakersfield is a testing ground for new innovative fast food products!

Clean outside. Clean inside. Friendly service. Quick and correct. Mgr is genuine and encouraging to her crew…

Definitely the best Taco Bell in Bakersfield. The food seems fresher and better prepared than the others and I have never had my order messed up, which happens regularly at the other locations. Like the interior design too.

This was a welcome opening. Didn’t understand why it was opening just a few blocks from the hageman location, but I’m glad they did. The service is fast and so friendly. Hageman always takes so long and their frutista machine always seemed like it was broken. This place is great.

I was craving cinnamon twists late one night. Went though the drive thru and got myself free cinnamon twists. Can’t complain about that!
