This has been replaced by Saffron Indian. Unilocal deleted my previous review «because it lacks a firsthand experience.» TRUST ME !! I live AROUND THE CORNER. I have FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE walking in the front door of 145 Montgomery Ave.
Yi-Tzi is and has been closed !!!

Yi-Tzi Peking is a (glatt) kosher restaurant in Bala Cynwyd.
Ate there pretty often when I worked nearby in summer of 2005.
Things I liked:
1. The staff is friendly and the space is cute.
2. The sushi is pretty good (especially some of the tuna rolls and a seared tun appetizer).
3. Not crazy expensive for sushi or for kosher. which is usually a problem!
Things I didn’t like:
1. I’d maybe stay away from the Chinese food menu options. Not bad, but a little bland. Maybe they’ve amped up the flavors in the years since, but at the time they were trying to placate an older Bala Cynwyd crowd. Not enough spice!
2. Small space and small kitchen. Can get reallllly slow for both dine-in and take out.
