Tango Rose

As part of my trip to see my sister in Newport every visit I come to this store. It’s one of the highlights I love it! Customer service is awesome! Andrea (pinky) is so helpful and very kind! I finally got to meet the owner as well this time, she was very sweet! I love it, great prices great selection! On your trip you must go to the store and see for yourself!

Worst customer service from that rude cashier, she claim the reason why she have an accent because she’s from czec. Anyways never been so disrespected and plus she’s racist why are you following me around the store. I’m sorry asian people won’t steal from this tacky ass downtown LA wanna be boutique. Yes all these outfits are from Downtown LA. Talking to other people about your ex boyfriend stealing money from you shouldn’t be discussed at your job, please keep that to yourself. and please cover up nobody wants to see your ass crack with tight ass jeans showing your love handles. What 50 years old walks around in a thong with junior size jeans on and it’s pretty disgusting pulling out your pads from your bra. we get it you can’t afford a boob job.

I went to Tango Rose for the first time today and wasn’t sure if it was designed for me or not but I was happy to say that they have a great selection for men. I was greated by a by a beautiful woman, she introduced herself as Andrea, she was eager to help me and show me what selection they have for men I was very pleased with the selection and I would return again, I’m going to bring my son’s next time since they have such a great selection of clothes for men and women and I really appreciate the great customer service that she gives as well I recommend everybody to come and visit this cute little Boutique on Balboa Island.

Unreal! I have never been treated so rudely by an employee! An employee there accused my 3 girlfriends and me for stealing just because we didn’t buy any of their cheap clothes. I couldn’t even believe it. We showed them our bags and still no apology. I went back to ask her name to reach out to the owners and she threatened to call the police. Worst customer service I’ve ever seen! If you want to own a business and are worried about clothing getting stolen then get some security tags. Someone clearly needs some help in business.

Shawnna gave me absolute amazing stylist assistant. I am so glad I discovered the spot because not only is it extremely affordable but the selection is nice and Shauna has one my business I will be returning customer because of her!

Love this store! I always find cute outfits and accessories. Great selection and a great value! The owner is very helpful. I always make sure to shop at Tango Rose when I’m in town.

Worst customer service. The associate working didn’t greet my mom and I upon arrival, in fact she just stood behind the counter while we looked around with her back to the store and texted. She then proceeded to order food on speaker phone extremely loud stating she’d come pick up her order once the two customers in the store (my mom and I) finally left.
We tried on a couple of items and were shocked by the sign posted in the fitting room stating ‘Do not drop any of our items on the floor this is not your room or closet’.
Will definitely not be returning to this store again.

We love this store! My girlfriend and I usually shop there 2 – 3 times a month, and absolutely enjoy the vibe. The owner and staff, usually very busy, are knowledgeable and friendly! Even the blonde with the heavy accent, is worth a visit to see her. Love her and enjoy going when she is working… higlhly recommend this place!

All I can say is tacky. Cheap clothes that aren’t worth the money. One time I even saw Forever 21 clothes being sold there for a more expensive price. At least the building it’s in is cute.

TANGO ROSE is a great place to shop. GREAT prices too. I can’t remember her name but you all use the term «accent» so we will go with that. She is very kind. We all have some sort of accent too! I think someone said that, «she was the ONLY 1 there opening up» KEY WORD = ONLY 1 THERE. It is NOT to difficult to see ALL the items out there & using common sense to TRY THINGS ON!!! It doesn’t hurt to ask if you don’t find your size BUT come one peeps. A GREAT place to shop.

Absolutely awesome place to shop for very upscale clothes and accessories that won’t break your budget; even though they are in super upscale Balboa Island. An oasis of high fashion for mostly gals but have some guy stuff too. Great place for guys to get their gals some high quality, high fashion, upscale gifts. Pinki always takes super good care of us. After shopping, Balboa Island is a great place to tour, explore and take a ferry ride.

I shopped when Andrea the gal with the accent was there and she was so helpful. She showed us all the menswear, the new arrivals and kept us well informed when all né items would be coming in. I promise you will enjoy her personality as she is fun to work with. She was honest and told me how I looked in the dress I tried on and bought. There were very expensive high quality merchandise for only $ 15.00. The sale is still going on and we had a great St. Patricks Day because of her. We will be back and when she is working preferably.

So I went to write a review about Tango Rose and saw a few bad negative comments about the employees or employee there Andrea and their or hers accent. First off yenny g you must be dumber then rocks. «Everything we have out is on display.» what part of that do you not understand about hat sizes. Its on display go try it on, or are you and your fiancée really that lazy? Jill S. from Ashburn, VA, I could guarantee your accent from VA is horrific to us people out here in California. Sounds to me like you guys are racist or just do not like accents Either way shame on you both for judging other people.
Now for the Tango Rose, my girlfriend and myself have been coming here for about a year after we went for brunch down in Newport, then got on the ferry and visited Balboa Island. What a gem this place is. It is really too bad that they do not have more Tango Roses throughout California. Everything is on Sale and Everything I mean «Everything» love the location and the employees have always been helpful and it really is a shame i have to travel close to 60+ by land and sea to get these deals.
I love the mens tee-​shirts they have in the store and my girlfriend is a sucker for the accessories. I feel like Sancho leaving the store and it is easy on my wallet and my girl is happy. 5 stars for sure, wish i could them them 6 stars for their nice employees, accent or no accent.
For sure stop by Tango rose if you are on Balboa Island. Its worth checking out.

Poor Customer Service by Andrea! My fiancé and I walked into the store and wanted to buy a sun hat. Andrea was opening the store by herself. I asked if the hats come in different sizes. She answered everything that we have is out on display I just had to try them. She didn’t answer my question instead say well you have to try. She was rude that we had to leave as fast as we could. I went to another store across from her store and bought a hat where the customer service experience was better! Don’t shop at Tango Rose because you will get a bad service and she will treat you like she is doing you a favor to shop.

Clothes were OK. Decent shoe selection. The person working was very rude and was taking care of personal business instead of checking out the customers in line. She also rudely kept walking in and out of the door mirror while I was trying to see how shoes looked on. Rude staff with annoying as hell accents!!!

Spent a day shopping at Balboa Island and The Better Half wanted to stop by this boutique. She found a cool hat, bag, and some accessories. She’s happy, so I’m happy. I sat outside and enjoyed the sun while she shopped her heart out.
