I’m sad to say tonight will be the very last time I will be coming to this location. I used to like coming here and enjoyed the food. But when I went here tonight I was disgusted by what I saw in the kitchen.
So, I’m sitting at one of the tables in the front of the place, I have a clear view into the kitchen. Just as I’m taking the first bite of my second taco de papa, I hear a loud cackle and look up into the kitchen to see one of the ladies, blonde hair, but not the lady who’s always at the register, eating in the kitchen area. I looked away to tell my boyfriend something and look up to look again and I see the older lady that works in the kitchen also eating in the kitchen area but over open containers of food and chewing with her mouth open. At this point I’m so disgusted that I no longer want to finish my food. I look up again and I see the older lady doing food prep, still chewing with her mouth open without washing her hands! Then, I see the first blonde lady take the plate she’s eating off of and walking to where they keep the nacho cheese and putting it over all those food container to serve herself more. What if what she had on her plate spilled into the food that they use to serve other people?! Also, she had just finished cleaning tables and did not wash her hands. At this point I was beyond grossed out and wanted to tell someone, like a manager. But there was no one there to complain to. The lady who I thought was a manager, blonde Lady that’s always at the register, was in the kitchen with all the other workers, talking and laughing, but telling them NOTHING about eating in the kitchen. In the past, and for several years, I have worked in food service so I know that it is a major health code violation to eat in any sort of kitchen area.
I really hope no one gets sick from this food. Luckily I never have. My poor boyfriend can’t say the same. I would have taken pictures but the first blonde lady kept looking at me. I seriously may be filing a complaint to the health department because this can make more people sick. I will never be eating here again.

My family and I came to this location for fish tacos on a Friday evening during lent, and it was PACKED. However, the staff was amazing, helpful, and very very nice. The food was also very good. We will definitely be returning.

Best fish tacos ever! Been coming here for 15 years. I always bring my foodie friends and they all agree this is where would have our last meal. It’s the sauce they use, no place compares. Come on Monday and Wednesday 99cent fish tacos! Potato tacos are also good.

This is the only place i keep coming back to. There also have a location off Valley Blvd and they’re different. The one off Valley gives you big pieces of fish but one time my friend order a horchata and at the bottom of her drink she found a dead roach. So we moved to this location… haven’t had another bug filled drink again. Lunch time is a mad house so I would come after 1:00 pm or before noon. Aside from their fish tacos the burritos are good too. Nicely filled and the meat is not greasy. They have good mixed seafood soup too.

The fish tacos are amazing… I love coming for the fish tacos on Fridays, they are not discounted during the Lenten season much like other places that serve fish on Fridays. The fish is battered and fried and is crispy and they load it with crema and cabbage, just delicious. I usually call in my order, I refuse to wait in the long lines. I do however, have to wait in line to pay, but at least they are cooking my fish tacos as soon as I call in my order. I highly recommend Taco Nazo they have the best fish tacos compared to Señor Baja or any place else.

Dont go here people dont be fooled. if u like your orders beers food dirty cold and inaccurate come here over priced too its a joke.

!! I haven’t tasted lengua that good in a long time. Went down perfect akin w my cubeta de negra modeli and shrimp tacos. Shrimp tacos were also super freakin good. Great service and great music. I felt like dancing but that could have been the beers talking ha. I will come back again. Actually already have. I’m eating here again today for brunch. Good stuff!

I took the family to go eat here. He had fish tacos, shrimp tacos, shrimp cocktail, nachos, all were delicious. The only complaint that I have, is that the kitchen is so close to the dining area, so you sit and bathe in the smells of the oil.

I am not the biggest fan of Mexican food but let me tell you this place is beyond good. Had the carne asada tacos and sopes was really good and the price was worth it.
The people gave great service.

I would have have given 5 stars but there is just something missing. And your bathroom is so yucky. Shrimp

Best Ensenada style fish tacos, HUGE! $ 1.29 each in Monday & Wednesday! Includes all kinds of extra toppings. Salsa, and grilled peppers, you must try at least once. All made fresh to order, open kitchen!

This place was just alright. I got fish and shrimp tacos and they were okay.
I’ve definitely had better. The fish was soggy. Unfortunately i may be a little biased because 1. Fish and shrimp tacos are my favorite food and 2. My mom makes the absolute best.
Give it a shot if you’re feeling up to it

Best shrimp tacos ever! That’s all I get here, really. The tortilla on these tacos are not deep fried like in most places and I actually like that. I love this place

While I do like the fish tacos here and my husband loves the shrimp, everything else falls flat.
The al pastor is horrible, the chicken not much better, really you come here for the fish, that’s it.
Service was nice, I enjoyed both their salsas and the prices are fine.
Quesadillas are pretty good as well, but by no means the best fish tacos around.

I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant while working in the area. It’s definitely a no frills type of restaurant with plain décor and ample but Spartan seating arrangements. The food is simply amazing. Coming from Florida, we don’t have as much variety when it comes to tacos. The selection and competitiveness around SoCal makes great food happen. The fish tacos were fried perfectly and the toppings made it oh so tasty. There is a small relish/​vegetable bar for snacking and topping.
It was so good, I had to stop by for lunch both days while I was in the area! Looking forward to eating here again.

Was super excited to try this place as I heard their fish tacos were amazing! Upon walking in, I ordered two fish taco plate combinations and two shrimp tacos on the side. The cashier was helpful and friendly, and we also upgraded our included sodas (with the combo) to horchata. The total was around $ 22. Side note: the cashier put us down as 3 guests even though there was only two of us… We just eat a lot: p
After grabbing the sides (carrots, radish, and sauce) we sat down and waited for our dishes to come out. The plates come with beans, rice, and a giant chili! The fish was more thick cut, but the batter and the crispiness was delicious. However, I wish there was more white sauce. I actually like the fish tacos at señor Baja better (lighter, crispier), but these were also very yummy! The shrimp tacos were actually better than the fish tacos, so I definitely recommend those. Horchata was also perfect. I ended up eating four tacos by myself, and didn’t regret a single minute!

BEST FISH TACOS EVER!!! Nazo has always been my go-​to spot for fish tacos over the years and it never disappoints. Everything about them just screams awesome tasty perfection. First off, the fish is always cooked right having that crunchy, savory outer shell while still encasing a very moist, flakey center. The white sauce on top is super
just adding more flavor to every bite. Finally, it has just enough cabbage and lime juice (squeezed on) to refresh your mouth and balance some of that fatty goodness preparing you for the next awesome bite. It truly is the best, even better than the famous Ricky’s fish tacos in DTLA in my opinion #sorryNotSorry ;)
Did I mention they’re super cheap? You can eat like a king for under $ 10 and on Mondays and Wednesdays they have a fish taco special where it’s a few cents cheaper than normal days. There are other Nazo’s around and some are better than others but I like this one in particular.
Protip: It’s a full on taqueria and they have lots of other protein options (lengua, carnitas, etc.) but personally I think their fish tacos are where it’s at. However, their other mariscos are good too (i.e. shrimp cocktails, tostadas, etc.)
