There is always room for some King Taco! Especially after a 14hour shift! Came around 10pm with some friends and it wasn’t too busy. Seems like everytime I come to King Taco prices always go up by a few cents. Any who my go to item is «All meat asada burrito with onions and cilantro» Don’t be fooled for getting a regular burrito that comes with beans and rice. ALLMEATBABY! Two sauces either one you get you’ll enjoy it… Unless you can’t handle spicy then stick with the green sauce. Red sauce is my homie, its treated like gold in my family. Pretty spicy packed with a punch. The workers here aren’t as stingy with the sauce as other location. I asked for 2 sauces and the person had no issue giving me the sauce! Also get some onions and cilantro on the side! FYI — red sauce burns on the way in and the way out if you know what I mean.

Food is good but it not good enough to be waiting an hour for. Every single time my family wants this I end up driving and getting the food. I literally take 10 mins to get my order in and an additional whole hour for my food.

Best mexican food. I love the tacos and the sopes. I really like the red salsa even though it is very hot. The service is not the best but I enjoy the food very much. I love it.

I used to come to this king taco all the time and after today I will never come again. I lost my card and I got a temp card that did not have my name on it and king taco refused to accept it as payment. I even talked to the manager and he was straight up rude about it. Like I was a criminal. Scared that I had stolen the card or something. If you don’t want to be treated like a criminal I suggest you don’t come to this place. I work hard for my money to be treated this way.

I’ve tried everything on the menu and the best items here are the tacos, burritos and sopes. Hot atole or Horchata to sip on. Now I personally always ask them to cook my meat a little longer, however the cashiers here are known to ignore that request. Always packed, always a wait for your food so be prepared to wait. Not a traditional taco joint due to not providing guest with lemons, grilled onions, radishes, fried jalapeño and are extremely stingy with salsa. Go to spot after a night out so I’m assuming they run they’re business around late night drunks Portions are tiny and pricey. plenty of other options around baldwin park with an authentic taste to it You’ll enjoy you’re food here so definitely a must try at least once.

Next to In-N-Out, this is the second most most popular place people miss when the move away from LA, and is usually the first place they go when they come back. Love the red salsa!

I have loved this tacos since I was a kid living in East L.A. While some spots can’t compete with the Ford and 3rd st. locations in terms of volume and hours, this location does an outstanding job. This are«street» type tacos, with some fixings and salsa. Different meats, and you also get them in burrito form. The meat quality is good, they are quick and easy to eat. This is NOT a Mexican restaurant where you come for the drinks and happy hour. Do not expect gourmet anything… it IS a taco stand in a building. The tacos are really tastey, the red and green chili salsa kicks up the flavor a notch. The people at this location have always been friendly, no attitudes and no sense of entitlement. Humble food for good hungry people.

I really love the tacos here they are so good. The best part of the experience is the green chili. I have no ideal what or how they make it but, it taste sooooooo good! The inside looks big but it can get quite packed very quickly and this place does not have outside sitting. I’ve also eaten the carne asada burritos they are really good as well. Simple ingredients rice, beans, meat, and salsa(green chili) … This place is as simple as it gets nothing fancy because the food speaks for itself! I haven’t had a problem with any of the king tacos yet knock on wood ja ja so I recommend this place!

Ehhh, This location doesn’t have tostadas like the Pasadena one. Being that it’s my go-to item, i was pretty disappointed to find this out. The line inside also trends to be pretty long at all times. Overall the quality seems to be the same but I prefer the Pasadena location. I’m not too familiar with any taquerias in the area so I stick to the king.

«Eat the tacos», they said. «It will be good», they said. They were right! Who doesn’t love King Taco? They are the mastermind, the bar that was raised, the thing that people on the east coast lust for. They are the Mexican In n Out. We go crazy over it and love the simple menu, the cool, funny workers, and the matching uniforms. They are the heartbeat of Southern California, sharing that commercial bloodline with their hamburger counterpart. This my friends, is what a Taco is all about! Pollo, Carne Asada, Carnitas, Al Pastor, Lengua… they have it all! Rotisserie Chicken and Nachos are good too! Horchata, Tamarindo, and ice cold Coke… you better drink up! Of course, their tacos come with salsa, onions, cilantro. If you’re like me, you can ask for it on the side, no questions asked. They work quickly despite long lines, and their restaurants are clean just about any time of the day or night. This Baldwin Park location is the one I’ve been to the most, so I’ve got a pretty good idea of what it’s like. Like many of you, I simply adore eating here. Not a ton of parking, but there are options! Right along Ramona, I have a lot of memories growing up in nearby neighborhoods, though I just didn’t appreciate tacos then as I do now. Isn’t that the way it always is? I’ll admit, I’ve come a long ways since those years of not appreciating the finesse of the taco. Pretty sure King Taco was the one that said himself«Get on my Level!».

Service is great and fast! The prices are kinda expensive. I got 4 mini tacos for $ 6.40 and their sopes are small but $ 2.85 each. but they’re both worth getting! Love their sauces especially the verde one, sorta has a spicy kick to it! The meat is very well cooked, only thing is I wished they gave limes out for the tacos. The wait wasn’t long considering we went at 2:30 am but there were a good amount of people in there. I also had no idea this was so close to my school so I’m def coming back again! Who doesn’t love tacos??!

I don’t know why this place has low ratings. I GREWUPWITHKINGTACO! I mean seriously this stuff is the best! The food is out of this world! One of the few reasons why I miss living in California! I still go whenever I’m Cali. The carne asada burrito is amazing! I think that’s pretty much all I get. I just order, pick up and drive back to wherever I’m staying at or eat it on the way haha… I’ve never ate here(maybe once? Don’t remember) but I really don’t care how the inside looks. The food is amazing. That’s that!

I’m a little biased because I’m from LA and we love King Taco. But this King Taco in Baldwin Park is the best! Tacos are amazing! I had four carne asade tacos and I almost wanted to eat six!!! Lol The staff is very friendly. The bathrooms where nice and clean. It was comfort food to me!!! I can’t wait to go back!!!

Okay I was recommended this place years ago because my best friend said that the red sauce had good flavor and was super hot(not too common because it’s usually one or the other) so I had to try it. I tried it right away and what can I say… I was obsessed right away. At first you’re accustomed to ask for lemon along with the chili but to my surprise they do not offer lemon? What the… You might say but the carne asada is already so flavorful and has the right amount of lemon flavor you don’t need any lemons. I the sopes(picture a thick corn tortilla with beans, meat, cheese, and cabbage) which in my opinion are the best of all. I’ve tried them everywhere and«the king» gets it right every time! Their aguas are delicious too! Of the Jamaica, piña, and horchata, I love the piña the most!

Very disappointed in this King Taco location, I always go to the one in El Monte, and this place falls very short in a lot of aspects: 1) I ordered some Pastor Nachos, I waited 49 minutes from order to pickup. 2) I got to work and my order was missing the white cheese! pretty frustrating when you waited that long and out of the 4 ingredients in this this dish they forget one very important one! 3) The meat was well over dried and the nachos were soggy. Considering the amount of people that come here to eat on the weekends, they should hire more staff to speed up the orders, obviously this place has business but it won’t for long with this kind of service. Overall, I personally will not be returning to this particular location, I’ve seen the other king tacos perform well with lots of customers and they still manage to give you a decent service and very good quality, maybe the management in this location needs to be reevaluated.

Pretty bomb Decided to go with the tacos the other night and tried the Al Pastor, Lengua and Carne Asada. The Al Pastor was definitely my favorite. I’m glad there’s a selection of good taco places close to my house. The line does get long(Luckily I got to order before the rush came in. This was around 8:30pm too!) The restaurant itself is pretty spacious and they have multiple workers, so the food does get out in a timely manner

King Taco is amazing. if you don’t mind the wait here. Even if the line looks short, it still takes FOREVER to get the food. Half an hour(more like 45 mins) is the average on a GOOD day. Back in the day, before King Taco was famous, they used to be generous with their portions. The all meat burritos were stuffed but when it became popular, portions started to dwindle and prices went up. That’s when it became«not worth it» to come and wait for the food. But this definitely has to be the place YOUHAVE to go if you’re visiting. It’s something worth to try at least once. I would recommend the carne asada and lengua(beef tongue) tacos and sopes. And always always ALWAYS… salsa verde.

I decided to try this taco place after a waitress at another restaurant suggested it. The food here is just ok compared to the other taco place I frequently(across the street). I did like how tender the chicken breast was but the carne asada and al pastor tacos were just mediocre in my opinion. They were quite stingy on the salsas which I did not like. I think I will just head to my usual taco place next time.

I just moved to West Covina and newly discovered I live less than 10 minutes from here and my first thought was HELLYEAH! I love tacos and I love spicy salsa. Get the al pastor tacos here with the red sauce and you can’t go wrong :’) It’s also super cheap so if you’re trying to eat on a budget, this is the place to stay satisfied and full. Props to king taco for the giant sign outside that says«KINGTACOWELCOME!!» .Really makes me feel welcome ya know. I suppose it’s a clever marketing strategy obviously concocted by the same genius who invented their spicy red salsa.
