Starbucks

Hannah was a delight. Like other reviewers having to fast for blood work, Starbucks was a welcomed sight. It was one of the best Americanos (with steamed soy) that I’ve had. Thank you to the barista that made that wonderful pick me up.

Went today after taking the gramps to his check up. Line was moving pretty slow but it was tolerable. Did my usual order, venti iced Caramel macchiato (which they put the best amount of caramel which is a hearty amount), but they didn’t have any plain bagels (which I always have to have) left so they recommended me the everything bagel and it was too die for! I’m always happy when their recommendations turn out to be amazing. The people that work were really kind and sweet and made sure everything was right! Totally satisfied :)

The baristas; specifically the males; are incredibly RUDE. When they take your order they do not greet you; they do not make eye contact and they give attitude. The area where you pick up your drink has a sliding window. When your drink is ready they open the window, shout out your name in an aggressive tone and then slam the window hard in your face. Very often they shut the window on me while I’m asking them a question about my order. The worse part is that this location is on a Kaiser Permanente Medical Center. So they are being aggressive and rude to an ill and vulnerable population. Get your coffee before you come to the hospital… these jerks will just leave you upset.

I am very pleased that kaiser permanent Baldwin Park offers Starbucks on there campus. It maintains it’s excellent taste and service from its staff. Alfred & Isabel are my two favorite staff members. I’m always greeted with so much positive energy from them both. There very polite, attentive, friendly and always offer great suggestions when I’m looking for a new taste. Thank you both for starting my days off on a positive note and always giving me the GREAT service I’m looking for.

The male barista had such an attitude.
I ordered a frappucino sans whip cream and the barista slapped a huge dollop of it on my drink. When I told him that my order was supposed to be without and asked for my drink to be remade the old drink was thrown in the sink with an attitude. If you asked at the beginning and were asked to leave the cream off why makes it right to scoop it off and still serve it.

I asked the barista to refill the half and half and he gave me attitude. then when I poured some into my coffee and I put the half and half bottle down to adjust my cup, he told me with an attitude to give it back to him, I told him that I wasn’t done using it, so I gave it back, Well bottom line was there was no need for the rudeness first. Worst Starbucks experience ever!

When you have to fast for a blood test and you’re not allowed anything, even my must have morning necessity, yes my cup of coffee, nothing makes you smile in relief as the beautiful welcoming Starbucks sign located on the Kaiser grounds in Baldwin Park.
Yes there is a Starbucks located conveniently right between the hospital and medical offices. Service was a little slow, but only because I was not the only patient in the huge facility, and you add nurses and doctors and yes it will get busy. However, that is a minor inconvenience considering I was is desperate need of coffee. Minus one star because they were out of napkins and straws and I had to ask twice for half and half, but still great to have a Starbucks nearby.

I wasn’t aware it was for kaiser nor that kaiser had a starbucks :/​This review was for BP on Tracy! the SMGR at kaiser is very informative about the company. never been here so I can’t give a full review, Next time I’m hospitalized I’ll be sure to come on by!

About clocking out than helping and he left, Anna was the lead didn’t even know what to do about it and said to call the rewards line and find out what the problem was but there was nothing she could do. The darn app says I had a birthday reward on my starbucks app proof for them, They’re managers and have the power to help the customer… This experience was horrible, After 15 minutes of dealing with the darn phone app logging off and trying to talk… she gave a free small drink (I ordered venti). Okay I’m kinda happy
Edit 10÷5÷15: I went to the burbank location it said «not found» just like here. THEY HAVE TO INPUT ‘BIRTHDAY REWARD’ EACH FREE has its own code and wont work just scanned alone… The employee in burbank knew what they were doing and it worked pleasantly. please properly train your employees at this reviewed location of Baldwin park to avoid such hassles with the starbucks app
Edit: ¹⁰⁄₂₅ I cashed in Earned reward and my friend cashed his birthday reward JUST HERE! with his gold card! I have the receipts to prove it! finally an employee here who knows what their doing!

I don’t usually review chains, but I am in this instance because I was so impressed with the awesome attitude by one barrista. Her name is Lily and she is so awesome. She is very bubbly and her attitude even perked me up a bit. Being in a hospital setting is different than just a regular coffee run. Many people are here and don’t want to be. Looking after someone in the hospital (or on a long shift I imagine) and her cheerful way and nice attitude really made a difference. I probably sound like some paid ad, but I am so sincere. .. After a stressful morning here in the surgery waiting room, she made such a difference that I had to do a review.
She might not ever read this, but THANK YOU!
if you do.. I was the lady who ordered a Venti café americano, put in a trente cup with extra ice with 5 pumps of caramel. (No one orders it like this lol)

Seriously the worse Starbucks ever, line almost to the door, one person working Counter, 1 employee chit chatting with friend.

Though it was a rough beginning, the staff is coming along and in my opinion, exceptional staff!

Kaiser location is great, accidentally put a bad review, been trying to edit that so you’re star rating is not effected. Friendly service at this location

I am aware this review is being updated only days after my first post, but yikes! Recently I have been heavily depending on this specific Starbucks location for my daily morning coffee. I came to terms with the shortages that they have been facing since day one, but this morning they hit a new low: iced coffee ALL OUT! Somehow the cold brew was still available, so I unwillingly opted for a cup of that, which they charged me full price for — dollars pricier than the simple grande coffee that I originally requested. Not necessarily saying I deserved a discount, but other locations would have given me the price of the iced coffee in the same event. Either way, a coffeehouse with no coffee… something’s wrong with this picture.

People that work here are so SLOW. It took me 15 minutes to get a caramel frap and and grilled cheese. The workers seem like they are half asleep and this place is CASH ONLY. no cards accepted here

I was here may 27 the cashier wasn’t very friendly she seems like she was there because she had to be there I had to return my order it was not done correctly I got it again and it was still not right I’ve never had a problem with Starbucks when you pay almost $ 11 I expect to injoy the drink

Slow as hell. It’s not a matter of them not being able to move faster, they just don’t care. You can tell by how leisurely they move around the kitchen space. Maybe they’re tired? Umm, maybe they should HAVE A CUP OF COFFEE, if they don’t get sick of waiting for themselves to serve one.
At least they made the drink correctly.

Love the location! So convenient right on Kaiser property. Customer service is nice. Waiting time is quick to average.

Our department was so excited that Starbucks opened BUT the service here is soo slow ! Maybe it’s the new crew but it takes at least twenty min to get an ice coffee !!

Coffee here is gross. The Coffee Bean and tea leaf is so much better! but, their tea here is good only because the company recently bought Teavana. That’s why they don’t carry the Stash brand anymore.
